Horrible service, limited menu and the attitude of doing the customer a favor. Walked in 10am ordered a plain bagel w/plain cream cheese and a latte. 25 minutes later, I finally get the latte but the bagel was still in the que. Avoid, unless you live in the building there is absolutely no reason to come here.

Maybe I didn’t order what was most popular but I really didn’t mind too much for this place. The acai bowl was really soupy. Also– watermelon juice with basil is not considered lemonade in most people’s book. A bit strange but still a fairly good health conscious place.

It’s good. There isn’t anything that awesome here. But consistent. I’ll keep coming here for a quick eat for lunch.

While this place is a tick off the main drag, it’s worth looking up. Quality, fresh ingredients coupled with creative presentations. All for cheap!(*relative to the area*) We came late Sun. morning. They were recovering from being brutally slammed yet, the staff was smiling and still paid attention to detail. Very nice coming from a basic street café’. We’ll be back.

Its in a huge developed residential condo complex. This is good because it is secluded and also kinda weird because it is so secluded and a bit hard to find. The food is incredible and really delicious. The avo toast is amaze with two eggs and guac on really crispy toast. They dont have kombucha on tap but there is a selection of juice and GTs kombucha you can buy. There is nice outdoor seating too

This place is top notch. i have used them several times for lunch and learns and every time they hit the mark. The food is fresh and tasty, all my clients have raved about how great it taste. They deliver on time with no challenges at all and setting up catering orders was fluid and easy. If you are looking for a great place to eat and good food, this is the one. If you have business meetings, they are excellent to have cater your lunch.

Asked for a grilled chicken sandwich and they recommended the CRAB… but when it came out it was deli meat chicken. Kind of annoyed but just kept the sandwich to take home to family. Went back and ordered a grilled cheese and two smoothies. The grilled cheese took about 25 min. Then they forgot about the smoothies. I was in the place for about an hour. Maybe it was a bad day for them but won’t be coming back even though I’m in the area often.

I am really not sure how this is rated so high. Very mediocre bagel sandwiches and their drinks aren’t hot enough. I also got the chai oatmeal because it sounded good and it was very clear that it had been previously frozen. I had to get them to reheat it and it was still cold, but at least the oatmeal ice cube in the middle was gone. On top of that the menu didn’t state that there were bananas on top… I hate bananas! It was also over priced for what it was too. I won’t be back.

Avocados are life. Avocado café is located inside the apartment complexes near diamond jamboree. It is a small café with limited seating and high prices. It is one of those places that you might stop by if you’re close but not something I would go out of my way for. Food Chuy sandwich– The sandwich had a pretty generous portion of avocado and meat, as well as cucumbers and spread. It was tasty and came with a side of kettle chips. Overall, it was good but pricey for 10 dollars. (Pasta salad a dollar extra but it is tiny) Acai smoothie– smoothie was slightly sour and the consistency was icey. It tasted healthy but also pricey for what you get(6 bucks) Environment Very small, limited seating and parking Overall, this place is ok. I would rather spend 10+ bucks getting something else but I may come back if I’m in the area and want a quick meal.

This place is a little tricky to find since it’s hidden from view if you’re on the streets and it’s behind a large apartment complex. The café is very small, so seats are limited. Luckily, we came at a good time on Friday morning so it wasn’t too bad! I ordered the Summer Salmon. I couldn’t resist the smoked salmon! Each sandwich or wrap came with a side of chips or pickle, free of charge, or a side of fruit salad or pasta salad, at an extra charge. The wrap was freshly made in their kitchen and you can even see them make it! And yes, it had avocado in it. The name is so fitting for this wrap, because each bite is so refreshing! Fresh veggies, fresh avocados, yum! I’m a little salmon biased too, so I can’t possibly pass up on the creamy smoked salmon taste. The service here is great, too! The workers are friendly and really patient(we took a while to pick something on the menu haha). Overall, this place is great for brunch or a quick snack. They also have board games for you to play while you’re there! I’d come back for brunch again!

The name says a lot about this place– pretty much every plate on the menu has avocado in it. I have come in here several times now for early breakfast and late brunch. It’s hidden in the apartment complex so it’s a little difficult to find and there is barely any parking. If you’re lucky, you can get a spot right in front of the restaurant(be careful with towing!). The place itself is cute but there’s barely any space inside. They have a few tables crunched up together and there is a couple of tables outside. I really wish they had more space– you can’t walk around/move easily. The menu is somewhat small in comparison to other brunch places in the area and this place is kind of expensive. I ordered an avocado toast and spent 10 dollars not including the drink… it was very dry and tiny! I was a little upset since I was expecting it to be bigger. It was probably about the size of an iPhone 6 and I finished my food in less than five minutes. Some sandwiches aren’t served until lunch time so that is a bummer too. I am not extremely satisfied with the price but I am willing to come back and try other stuff too.

Have you ever woken up in the morning and wanted a cup of pee? Nope, me neither. That’s why you should never drink the coffee served here. At $ 5 a cup, if I had to imagine what pee tasted like, it would be this coffee(that comes from the keg and has brown chunks floating in it). However, avocado café doesn’t make the coffee it comes from a brand called stumptown?(I think that’s what it’s called). The girl told me most customers think it has a «unique» flavor… Yeah… If that’s what you want to call it… Anyway, I didn’t eat food here but the menu looked good which is why I’m giving it 2 stars.

This is my new favorite place to eat! My favorite is their salmon toast. Everything here is made fresh. They even have delicious coffee drinks. They have a fridge full of healthy drinks as well. They have homemade smoothies, and you can make any smoothie into a «bowl» with granola and fruit. You can also make your own bagel sandwich. Everything is fairly priced. I leave here feeling satisfied and happy! They also have tv’s with sports and news, and trendy music playing. Overall a very calm and warm atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back.

Pretty solid place with a breakfast and lunch menu that’s fairly vast and with healthy options. Lots of parking here in either the front or the back parking lots — its right next to Phans55 and Barry’s Boot Camp in the hidden plaza between Watermarke and The Plaza condominiums. I came here one morning for an apple and granola breakfast with soy milk — the portion was big for $ 5.75 and service was quick, fast, and friendly. It was pretty good too and I’d definitely want to try out their lunch menu one day.

The first time I came here, I thought everything was SO delicious and couldn’t wait to come back. My second time here, however, I was disappointed with the food and found that the menu items were quite overpriced. I understand that avocados are not the cheapest produce, but. C’mon. Trader Joe’s sells a bag of four avocados for like. Three bucks. So the prices are really not justified. I would give this place four stars if everything on the menu were $ 1 less. I ordered the Avocado Toast and, to my surprise, there was not a lot of avocado on the toast! I mean… Avocado Toast from Avocado Café? You would think there would be a lot of avocado on that toast. But no. This was an average open-faced sandwich that I would not order again. The last time I was here I ordered the grilled cheese which came with a lot more avocado and was so much better than the Avocado Toast(how many times did I say avocado? lolol). Definitely check this place out if you work in the area and want a healthy lunch option. Otherwise, it’s really not worth checking out. :3

Avocado Café is located in a small strip of businesses between a couple buildings of an apartment complex. I initially wondered if Google had led me astray and into a residential neighborhood until I saw the sign for the café and gladly found parking easily and close by. The café itself is pretty small but not uncomfortably so. Their seating area is comprised of wooden four person tables and they have more spacious seating outside. I assume that for most people, they drop in for a quick bite and go but for my purposes, where I was planning on staying for a while, more comfortable seating would have been nice. They could use a futon or armchair as opposed to all the hard wood tables that get uncomfortable after a while. A few small details about this place made my stay as enjoyable as it was. First, they offer Stumptown coffee! They offer the lovely bottled cold brew that you can find at more trendy grocery stores and they also have a drip version in case you’re feeling like a latte or americano. They also have stevia and almond milk which are my two preferences for coffee additives. I also really appreciated that they offered free wi-fi and display the server name and password in an easy to locate spot in their café. What I also liked was that during my four hour stay I got to listen to study-friendly tunes from Norah Jones, Frank Sinatra, John Mayer and other similar artists. The music made for an enjoyable experience and a helped create a nice work environment for me. As I was here for so long I ordered breakfast and lunch. For breakfast I had the lox on squaw bread toast with pesto, 2 poached eggs and basil. Yum! I highly recommend this dish. The salmon was fresh, the eggs perfectly cooked and the combination of flavors was very enjoyable. Paired with my 16 oz. Stumptown americano, I was perfectly content. Later on I had the BTLA sandwich and tomato basil soup served with a side of fruit instead of chips. This was just ok. The breakfast I had here stood out but this kind of paled in comparison. I thought the amount of ingredients was lacking and made the sandwich seem too light and lackluster. The bread was plain wheat bread and would have been nice on sourdough or something else. The soup was your average tomato basil and overall, this meal just didn’t measure up to the quality of my breakfast. At the end of my stay I had paid $ 25 for my breakfast and lunch which, considering what I ordered, seemed like way too much to me. I noticed a few other reviews pointed out the high prices here and after trying the food myself, I do feel that they are excessive. I would pay the same amount for that delicious coffee and toast but if they plan on keeping their pricing, I would prefer to see the quantity and quality of their lunch increase. As for the service, the staff was polite and generally friendly. I had called ahead to make sure this was more of a café than a restaurant so that I could bring my laptop and get work done, and they were very welcoming over the phone. When in the area, I’ll keep Avocado Café in mind for coffee and breakfast and would probably even travel out of my way for it.

Parking: I found parking to be a bit difficult because it filled up very quickly but then I realized that there was a parking structure in the back. Go for the parking structure, it’s less stress. My boyfriend and I decided to come here after seeing rave reviews. I was excited but when I got there, I didn’t see anything that popped out at me so I decided to build my own sandwich. The sandwich itself was good but it wasn’t amazing. For me, if something is amazing, I’ll crave it and want to constantly go back. This place didn’t do it for me. On top of that, the restaurant is very small. You’re better off getting the food to go. The employees are very friendly, which I appreciated. They explained that they no longer sold the breakfast burrito, which really disappointed me because that was one of the main reasons why I wanted to come here. I also got the tomato basil soup, which was probably the best thing I got. It’s also a bit pricey here for what you get. Overall, good not great.

Avocado café is a must if you’re ever in Irvine!!! They have a wonderful selection of coffees. Which includes nutella coffee and delicious chai with espresso. They let me sample the iced coffee before I ordered it. I got the Salmon Toast which had all my favorite ingredients — arugula, basil pesto, cream cheese, on a toasted piece of squaw. The employees were so friendly and knowledgeable. Amazing customer service with quality delicious food to match.

Nice small restaurant with a healthy, guilt free menu to choose from. They mostly just serve a variety go sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and soups. I found it to be like your average café, prices are a little more pricey, on average about $ 8 – 9 per sandwich. I ordered a build your own turkey sandwich, which I liked. Wasn’t amazing, but was good. However the tomato basil soup here is delicious, especially as a side and complimented the sandwich very well. However there was an additional $ 2 charge for a side of soup. The restaurant itself is small, so you might have to wait for a table or go look for seating outside. The customer service here is good, and the employees were very friendly. All in all good café food that is a little pricey, but would recommend this place if you want a healthy alternative to fast food, and a nice place to eat and relax

Absolutely love this place!!! Tried both the Summer Salmon wrap and the Hot pressed Cuban sandwich and both were extremely delicious!!! Price is worth it because they do give you big, filling portions and you also get a small side which is just the perfect amount to get full! Summer salon wrap was delicious! Wheat wrap with wild caught salmon, guacamole, and veggies. The wrap was huge and I got extremely full eating the whole thing with my side of mixed fruits! The Cuban sandwich was also delicious! It was such a huge sandwich with Dijon mustard, also very flavorful! Got the pasta salad as a side with this one and it was also really good! Got super full after eating this one too! You have the options of salad, mixed fruit, pasta salad and I think potato salad as well. All sandwiches are around $ 7-$ 10 approximately. They also serve soups and smoothies and juices! Also bottled drinks like Yerba mate and iced teas. Parking is easy, a good amount right in front of the café as well. Free wifi! TVs inside the restaurant too. Employees are friendly and helpful. Great place! Will definitely be back when in the area :)
