This plaza is where one goes for the older Asian restaurants in this area. There is a dim sum place that still uses carts here and the Taiko has been around for quite some time. It also contains some medical zoning in the back of the parking lot. But due to it being old, it has become obsolete due to so many people wanting to come here, so that’s why I rated it lower. It is extremely difficult to park in the front and the back of the parking lot. There is not enough parking to fit everyone. In fact, the only convenient way to get here from my experience was to park at the bank across the street and have someone do something in each plaza. It also doesn’t look as clean as the other parking lots since the pond in the middle of it looks kind of opaque. Aside from that, one can get a lot of eating done here like by going to the bakery and walking around the plaza playing Ingress to walk off all the snacks one just ate. The only problem with this plaza is that it doesn’t fit enough cars for people that drive here(even parking in the back is hard during a busy day) and accidents can happen since I keep noticing a memorial of some kind on the corner of the entrance on Walnut. My suggestion? Drive a clown car here to save on the number of parking spaces one’s party takes up!

Pros and Cons. 1. A lot of good eateries and stores. 2. Good Location Cons. 1. Crowded at Times 2. Outdated design/décor Arbor Village contains several good eateries and stores such as Taiko, A&J, China Garden, and SeaWave Hair Salon. The shopping center is built in a good location near two busy streets making it really easy to find. However, parking can be difficult at times and the center is in need of a renovation.

I’ve been here a few times over the years and since I’m not native to the area it’s always been because I’ve looked up a specific restaurant that led me to here. It’s got a handful of good ones so check it out! Korean BBQ, Taiwanese, Japanese, are all represented!

This center has the most amazing Asian cuisine! My favorite is the Korean BBQ. Excellent.

Horrible parking here — don’t want to remember all the times my car doors got dinged. But thats just a testament to the number of decent eating places here. If you plan your dinner reservations around the rush hour, you’re either SOL or find yourself parking way in the back in the eerie dark shadows of Irvine’s underworld. The pond really needs a child friendly makeover.
