Shear Indulgence Salon and Dayspa

Absolutely love this salon! I came to columbia 3 years ago & hadn’t found anywhere reasonably priced with quality work until I came here. I’m a picky blonde & Chris did my colors perfect while I enjoyed a glass of wine! All of the staff is super friendly, & they don’t seem «fake friendly» as most are haha. I will most definitely be coming back!

Coming from San Diego, I’m currently in search of a lot of new places to get things done. No matter what, finding a hairstylist is always very difficult for me. I have extremely thick, frizzy, wavy hair. There have been plenty of times that a hairstylist will take away from the shape and leave it in a condition that makes it even harder to manage.
I decided to try Shear Indulgence after reading their Google reviews. I was unable to pick a stylist based on those reviews, so I decided to call and get a suggestion after describing what I wanted and my hair type. The receptionist suggested Chris, and I made an appointment. I’m very happy to see that she was not intimidated by my hair, and really listened. She kept the shape that I had, and cut all the ends without making it too short. She also updated my color and made the ends of my ombré lighter. I love the color, and how it looks on me.
I also decided to wait a few weeks before reviewing because there are times that I’ve walked out of a salon looking great, but then I wash it, and am unable to work with my hair. In this case, after 2 or 3 weeks, I’m able to style it on my own and it it’s very manageable for me. I highly recommend Chris. I also was pleasantly surprised at their prices. I’m used to paying a lot of money since I tend to pick the best Salons and Hairstylist. Although, I got premium service, I found their rates to be very reasonable!

I’m not used to spoiling myself but I may have to more often! I had a wonderful experience and walked away feeling like a million bucks! Lu has an excellent hand, listened to what I wanted and gave me her professional opinions. I also waxed my eyebrows but I probably could have done them myself. Loved the attention they gave me and loved how I was treated!

Great place Melissa made me feel comfortable, and made honest suggestions. I would totally suggest this place. Will go back.

Love this place! Ashley is amazing with her creative cuts and color and everyone is fun and professional!

I go to Ashley and she always does a fantastic job. She listens to what I want and also is able to make professional suggestions. The salon itself is clean with a friendly staff. They also offer you something to drink when you walk in. Great customer service, great atmosphere, great hairstylists, and great prices.
