Their beers are pretty good. I like them just fine. I haven’t tried the sodas, which I definitely have an interest in doing. We once saw an event happening there on beeradvocate and decided to take the ride over there. It was a small place in the heart of an industrial park and not usually open to the public. We got there and saw noone except a big man sitting in a lawn chair with a barrel fire. We said Hi looking for some type of directive, but he completely ignored us, like we were ghosts. I don’t know what kind of event this was supposed to be, but we were so uncomfortable that we left. So don’t go to a beer advocate event– drink the beer. I actually haven’t seen it in quite a while in any store here in the merrimack valley, come to think of it… I also haven’t seen anything new and exciting from them in a while, hoping there are things coming soon!

I am a huge fan of microbrews and I’m so happy that a brewery of this caliber is located in my hometown. I have tried almost all of them, but the Ipswich Ale, Ipswich IPA, Ipswich Oatmeal Stout & Stonecat IPA are my favorites. I look forward to trying the seasonal«Choate Bridge Imperial Stout» which I just bought last night. I also look forward to frequenting the brewpub they are currently building in downtown Ipswich!

Mercury Brewing knows what they are doing! The beer is delicious. Try an Ipswich Ale or IPA. The sodas are fantastic as well. The hip-hop sodas are quite a tasty treat and reminiscent of the old days

Nice people, terrific beer, local production… what more could you ask for?!? Maybe a nice local brewpub, please? In Ipswich?

The sodas are great, but the beer is just downright swell, too. The folks who run the business are nice, and they sponsor lots of great events. The trail marathon(and 50 miler) I did last November was sponsored by these guys, and I got to drink lots of free beer while running 26 miles in the woods. Rock!

This company makes the fun«hip-hop» sodas with flavors like orange cream, birch beer, and strawberry. You can usually find them distributed locally, like at The Edgewater Café or Maria’s Sweet Somethings in downtown Salem.

A wonderful local brewing company, which produces beer and soda! I haven’t sampled their beers yet; however the sodas are wicked. I would definetly recommend finding a local restaurant or store. They don’t seem to offer on-line orders yet, but hopefully that will change in the near future!
