I really don’t appreciate the staff at this place. They lie and cheat. The staff was really rude to me and my wife. When I said something about it, she said«drunk», yet I have not had a thing to drink. Tired of being treated like trash by the staff.

Food was good. Service was not as good. Everyone has a bad day but she didn’t even bring us all of our change. That’s stealing. When we let her know, in a nice way, she just said ‘oh I was busy’… Yikes.

Granted I am at this bar ALOT I have to explain my two rating. I go here a lot as I know the wait staff well and they know my drink order before I sit down which is really nice. I feel however being a bartender or waitress that is part of the job getting to know your regulars. My boyfriend would kill me for giving the bar a two but it’s due to the he food. I have eaten here a million times and the food is below average. My biggest complaint is it’s almost always cold. I fear some things aren’t cooked to order and everything is overpriced for a bar. The food lacks taste and everything from wings to a burger is bland. It’s hard to mess up wings or mess up a simple chicken sandwich or burger, but they need to get new meat. It’s that simple! We live in Iowa can’t be too hard to get quality meat. The wings tend to be overcooked and are small. Only good thing is(most men wouldn’t find it good) is the portions are actually correct so u don’t overeat and are unable to finish your beers.

Soft pretzel sticks were awesome, but the Bratwurst left a lot to be desired, especially for this area. Definitely wasn’t up to what I was expecting. Service was good, but the food was slow to arrive and there were accuracy issues. Kids menu is a little sparse, as well. Seem to have a really strong beer selection; though, we didn’t partake.

Went in for lunch on a Saturday for burgers. The menu is extensive with quite a few fun selections and a very good beer selection as well. I had one of their specialty burgers and my wife built her own. When they arrived they looked great and tasted good as well. I was pleasantly surprised they toasted the buns as an untoasted cold bun can ruin an otherwise good burger. However, the bun was cold and both our burgers were over cooked. This was surprising since there were only a few other people in the place. Would like to try them again but if they cannot execute when there are not crowds, I am reluctant. Maybe it was a bad day.

Excellent Eggs Benedict. A Saturday morning necessity. Very good burgers. Also recommend the corned beef and cabbage on St. Pat’s.

As far as bar food goes, this stuff is pretty darn good! I love the French dip, their burgers, cheese curds, fried green beans, everything I’ve tried so far has been really good! And I love that they have funnel cakes on the menu although I’ve yet to try them. Great beer and drink selection too.

The food and service was outstanding, as was the atmosphere at 2 Dogs Pub. I’d highly recommend 2 Dogs Pub for a good time, good food and fine drink.

Wing and cheese curds review –I have your attention right? Haha I eat wings almost every Tuesday for about 20 years or so now. So I wanted to try a new place this week and seen they had some wing reviews on their Unilocal,so why not? This is a nice sports bar/grill, it was very chill when I came in about 2pm and not many events going on, seemed like it could hold a crowd. For the food, they have a nice menu with a good amount of items to choose from. I was happy to see they have several flavors of wings, I will have to try them when I can. I settled on their traditional buffalo and firestarter, both had an excellent flavor and heat. Firestarter was my fav, it has a little bit of a 911 wing type of flavor that I love so much. The wings are crispy, but not dry which isn’t always easy to do. They do use smaller wings here compared to some places but they can fill you up. Oh and the cheese curds are nice, worth trying them. They do have $ 4 wing Mondays and also have happy hour specials on different food items after 3pm. I really loved their wings, this may be 5 stars as soon as I try a few more flavors. Great stuff here so far!

3 star food 5 star bartenders 4 star total. The burgers and wings are ok, they’re not great, but not bad either. If you get the wings when they are on special they’re a pretty good deal since they use smaller wings. The flavor of the wing sauces here are pretty good, they’re just lacking some heat, even the firestarter. Unlike some places I’ve been to, they do actually use enough sauce to actually coat their wings. Too many places these days barely use any at all and then charge you when you ask for extra. The burgers I’ve had here have had decent flavor, but they’ve been on the dry side so I can’t really give them more than 3 stars. Kudos on the multiple choices and specialty burgers, but they still need a better patty. Now, for the 5 star part. While the selection of craft beers isn’t that big, it is a well thought out selection and has some very good beers plus some rotating taps for seasonals and specials. The bartenders there are also quite knowledgeable about what they are serving. Last time I was there I ordered an Irish stout on nitro, after serving it to me and looking at it, the bartender disappeared into the keg room. When he returned, he took away my beer and gave me a new one. He had noticed that the beer did not pour correctly due to the pressure being too high on the nitrogen. He had gone in back to correct and gave me a properly poured beer when he returned. So decent food, good beer selection, and great bartenders equals 4 stars.

Really have began to love this pub. Great staff with really good drinks and burgers. The breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays is what takes the cake though. The breakfast wraps are out of this world and the Bloody Mary’s are the best in town. Cool atmosphere with music and games. Great place to watch sports as well. It’s become a Sunday tradition to go to 2 dogs on Sundays.

Excellent Pub. Great bar food and friendly service. What else could you ask for. My wife and I went in for lunch at 12:30 on a Sunday. Despite the fact that we were seated withinbminutes of a party of 9, we were waited on within two minutes. Two Dogs has a pretty good draft craft beer selection. Their prices are on the low side for drinks.($ 4.00 wine and $ 3.50 draws). They also offer many specialty martinis. All in all, a great place to enjoy an afternoon with friends.

The service was warm, friendly, attentive and prompt, the French Dip sandwich was hot and delicious, but the amazing surprise was the marshmallow crème maple dipping goo that came with the sweet potato fries! It’s wonderful though I warn you that it’s instantly addicting! The atmosphere is low key and comfortable and the clientele included solo diners, couples from college age to seniors and families too. A great casual dinner and a beer for right around ten bucks.. . I will surely be back.

Pretty respectable dogs, good beer selection, and I’ve been told the burgers are really great. I’d like to go back and have a burger to see how good they are. The saurkraut on the brat was really tasty, and the brat was ok. I just didn’t get a whole lot for lunch, but was happy with the service and the food.

This was one of the worst dinning«experiences» that I have had in recent times! We ordered their«special» –a large taco. They advertised the special of taco and Corona beer special. This was a 6;30PM –the waitress told us that the taco special was ok but the special on Corona didn’t start untill 7:00. what bullshit. The«Taco» came so loaded with SALT! it was uneatable. The taco consisted of a spoon of ground beef and a little lettace. the Taco sauce came in little catchup size fast food type containers –one per taco. Like watered down ketchup. My wife asked for more sauce. They charged her extra for“salsa on the side”. My wife tells me that I now owe her a meal, in a place of her choosing _that has food that you can eat. we came home and I drank some bourbon and my wife drank wine to try and get the awful taste out of our mouths. UGG! NEVERAGAIN!!! Total crap meal. AVOID this place !!! In fairness the waitress was ok and probably an OK place for a beer BUTNOTTHEFOOD!!!

Great for drinking, terrible for eating! This quiet bar is a great place to go with friends on the weekend for a drink. You can play shuffle board, talk without needing to yell, and good drink specials. It’s not over crowded at all. Eating there is a different story. My first attempt resulted in an odd tasting black bean burger patty. I thought it was my fault for not ordering a beef burger patty, so I agreed to give it another chance. We got the onion rings for an appetizer, which were lukewarm generic onion rings from the freezer served with watered down ranch. For the main course I had the Blue Monkey burger with an angus beef patty and a side of coleslaw. The beef was your average frozen tasteless patty, and I even had to salt it! It was served with a tomato slice and a pathetic piece of iceberg lettuce. The coleslaw had clearly been sitting around for awhile and not even close to tasty. My husband had the Patty Melt burger, which had promise… but really missed the mark. The bread was drenched in oil and you couldn’t tell it had Swiss cheese. Again, served on top of a tasteless, dry beef patty. It was too obvious that everything was per-packed and frozen prior to re-heating. On the plus side, the staff is always friendly. I will be back to enjoy an adult beverage and shuffle board, but I will not be selecting any items from their menu.
