Friendly staff and good prices! Rare gem for a tiny desert town. Will be returning for all of my musical needs!

My hubs recently bought a guitar while we were on our honeymoon and was told by the guitar maker to buy a humidifier, so I remembered driving through the tiny town of Inyokern last week and noticed a music shop. The store is directly across the Barnyard on Inyokern rd.
We were actually driving to the other music shop in Ridgecrest and saw that it was closed, so we decided to swing by Inyokern to see if this place was open. Thankfully it was!
We were greeted warmly by the manager, Charlie who also hand crafts guitars and a store employee. I’m not sure if it was his son, but both were very friendly and most importantly very helpful with all of our questions.
The store itself is small but was told that they would be expanding soon. Even though it was small in size, every inch was covered with any and all guitar needs.
We did a quick research on price before heading out and have to say the price was around the same price or a little more than what we found on
. My hubs said the guitars there ranged from a couple hundred to $ 550…just to give you an idea of the bigger items. But we love supporting local businesses and can’t wait to come back for any other guitar needs we have. I would highly recommend this shop for beginners like my hubs and to professionals!
