Troje’s Trash Pick-Up Service

Terrible service. I would never recommend them to anyone. We currently have them at our business and at our home. At our business, they have not picked up our recycling bins for over 3 months. I have called in over 5 times and emailed over 5 times to resolve the issue and I either do not get a response or am told I will get a call back and they don’t. I’ve been trying to cancel our service for over 3 weeks now, and they refuse to call back as a way to «keep» you as a customer. Our attorneys are now involved. Good service huh?
At our house, they routinely miss our pickup and usually blame it on a driver or a broken down truck instead of just fixing the problem.
Avoid at all costs.

Good, then bad, then worse, then good again.
About a year ago a gentleman came to the door and offered Trojes trash and recycling service that wa less expensive than the service we were using so I thought why not. I signed the agreement on the spot. Only to read the small print later-​totally my fault-​and realized I had signed a 3 year contract. Again, I figured no big deal. Then I called my old trash people to cancel and she said «you know they are going to raise the price in a couple months». She was right, it went up AND they tacked on a environmental fee and blamed it on the state/​county. Ended up being significantly higher than our last providers.
Recently I called them to complain and ask when my contract was up so I can be sure and cancel. The women I talked to on the phone could not have been nicer! She apologized and asked for specifics. Then she told me if you pay in advance for a year of service the price goes way down. Not sure why but that’s what I did and it did end up being cheaper than previous provider. I will probably still cancel when my contract is up because I felt they were deceiving but the woman they have working for them was certainly helpful and honest.
