St Patrick’s Catholic Church of Inver Grove Hgts

My parents attended this church when we were quite small, but when we started school, we switched to the parish that was part of the school we were attending. About 2 years ago, we were looking for a new parish, because we were unhappy with our current church. We «church-​hopped» for several weekends, looking and evaluating where we felt «at home.» When we attended mass with Fr. Bob, we finally found our new home. The church is very welcoming without being overly «touchy-​feely» (as my dad puts it). Since we have a young daughter, we were looking for something that had youth involvement. Granted she’s still a baby, so she can’t quite participate yet, but we’re looking forward to the day that she can. This isn’t a church that has grumpy old church ladies doing funeral luncheons, as we have found them all very kind.
