Market Liquor

My wife recently visited this location and was treated without courtesy and with horrible service. The cashier, who turned out to be the owner of the store, made the comment as she was gathering her items to leave the store, «are you going to take your receipt, do you want me to throw it away or do you expect me to read your mind?» It was stated with a rude tone and very snarky. This person, who owns the store, has poor business etiquette. This place will not see a single dime of our money again! Four thumbs down!!!

This place is right by my work and very convenient — went in twice and spent over 100 already but that is the last dime this place will see of mine simply because the owner is not very friendly or customer service driven. The first time I went in he was eating something very fragrant and it smelled delicious. I of course being the talker I am —attempted to drum up a conversation with him but he was not taking the bait. Perhaps he was hungry so I let that slide. I went in a second time and it was slightly before the hours posted on the door so when I went in I said oh good your open — again I got a dismissive and curt response. I proceeded to purchase a gift bottle of top shelf liquor and asked if he had any types of bags or anything to package it in — as most liquor stores carry some of this around the holiday time for certain. Oh no — he was a jerk about that too! They have a nice enough selection and the prices are in line with other stores but from here on out I’m going to shop elsewhere…
