I love doing my recycling. The one time I’ve ever been mugged was at a RePlanet in San Diego and even that horrible experience has not deterred me from doing this. Now that I have a house with a garage, I can accept recycling from my neighbors, store it in the garage until I’m ready to go, and do their recycling too. «» Glass ‘n plastic, sorted UP! …On a Tuesday«« (You’re welcome Drake, I just made you Eco-friendly) My first visit to this RePlanet — midday on Tuesday — was typical in every respect: two auto machines which go faulty/jammed constantly, long lines, and invariably a couple of old women who have never done this before in front of me. That said, the line was under a tree in the shade and a surprisingly nice breeze was blowing, which in August in LA was pretty delicious. When you’re done feeding the machines all your cans and bottles, print your coupon and walk into Ralph’s to get cash. They don’t even make you wait in line. It’s as simple as that people, I don’t know why Californians are still littering. Clean up your planet | acquire beer money.

Often crowded but super easy to use. If you do the bottles individually you get more cash. Only downfall is you have to go into Ralph’s to get you money.

Money for turning in bottles and cans– LOVEIT. I mean, your making a bit of coin AND your doing good for the environment. PERF! The deal is, you make more moneh if you put your cans in the individual counter as opposed to giving it to the attendant but, who has time for that?! Hand it over to the dude and walk off with yer cash. Its that easy!
