After I kindly tried to explain why my grandparents weren’t satisfied with the pizza they ordered the man I spoke with hung up on me! I’ve worked in customer service so I always try to be kind because it can be a tough job! I called back and after telling 4 people I wanted to speak with the manager I finally got a woman to refund half the order… the guy who hung up on me, who said he was the manager never came back on the phone. THISPLACENEEDSNEWSTAFFANDNEWTRAINING… perhaps telling your employees not to hang up on their customers will be a good place to start. THEIRAREPLENTYOFPEOPLETHATWOULDBEHAPPYTOWORKANDHAVE A JOB.

Bad Delivery! After placing my order online at 530 pm, I was given a 30 – 40 min delivery time. Ok cook… at 6:45 pm, I call the store and ask about my order. she tells me the driver is on his way. Ok fine. it’s raining. give him some time… at 7:30 I call to ask where’s the pizza… and she says oh the driver called bu no one answered… I’m like why did he call??? Her: He wanted to make sure u ordered the pizza. ME: I’m like well duh… to find out if I orderd the pizza you would ring on the doorbell! Mind you there was no gated entry or gate code… he just needed to get out of the car and come in. Basically she offered to cancel my order, and place a new order(which I prob would have to wait another 2 hours for) and give me a discount… No thanks… Took my $$‘s to Domino’s!

Poor customer service. I placed an Order for delivery and later they called me saying they don’t deliver to my Address. After I waited for an hour for my food. Their location is only 15 minutes away they could have at least been cordial enough and delivered my order being that it was their mistake for placing my order in the first place. My advise is make sure they know exactly where you’re located so this doesn’t occur

Rude short girl took my order while coworker sat on the counter chilling. When I asked for prices(mind you this is my first time at a papa johns) seem like all she knew was the large was on special and nothing else. Never smiled never thanked me for coming just looked irrigated the whole time

Wow just reading some of the other reviews… i will start off by saying the same thing i placed an order last night at 9:24 pm confirmation said it would take 30 to 40 min to prep everything. At 10:15pm i was walking around looking for the delivery person out the window. At 10:25pm i get a call and somebody asks if i ordered papa john pizza i said yes and the person was like i am here. I said here i come. Open the door nobody walking up or at the door. Went outside to the street to meet the driver(the hell did i give a tip for) get food which by the way was room temp. Went back inside. I googled my address in comparison to this papa johns and it was literally 8 min away. So needless to say i am a little pissed with the cold food and having to go get it. i wish we could choose our spots there is one closer to me. Why did it pick one that was 2 miles away is retarded to me.

A mess mess and more mess. The only reason why i order a pizza here is because I wanted to try the garlic knots. There was only one line to place a order and pick up. And that was out the door. Even people who call in have to stand in line. As I stood in the line it was a man behind me with a large pizza stating he was unsatisfied with the pizza and was returning the entire pizza. I was looking at how he was holding the box and«I thought is that a empty box?» Because he was holding the box sideways under his arm. Guess what? They refunded his money with no problem. So, I can say they do offer money back guaranteed. As I approached the window the cashier greeted me in a very low. I asked her what did I order? She read the receipt and me what it was but didn’t have my garlic knots in the order. «That was the reason for my visit, Papa John. She asked me did I still want them? That would be a YES. She said, another 15 minutes. Ok! fine. Your not going to discourage me your just going to have me tell the world about the service here. MESSAGEADDEDAFTEREATINGTHEPIZZAORDER : After eating the garlic knots and the specialty cheese pizza, I have to say it’s pretty good.

Delivery sucks. I ordered online and got a confirmation email at 8:15pm and its 9:15pm and I am still waiting for our dinner. I am never ordering from papa johns again. I called to ask about the status and I was in the phone for 6 minutes for a short response of «he will be there soon, got lost»

Ordered pizza for pick up, and picked it up 45 minutes later. I ordered for pick up because I was in hurry and wanted this simple one topping pizza ready by the time I finished grocery shopping. When I showed up to pick it up, my order was either given to someone else or they forgot about it entirely. Super pissed because I had to wait for a pizza that I ordered ahead of time. They didn’t even offer a discount or an apology. Ugh!

If something is wrong with your order when they deliver it, good luck getting it fixed. We called and were placed on hold for over 14 minutes. The employee never came back. I had to call corporate to get in contact with the store. They finally just refunded the item that was wrong, but all my food was COLD by then. A HUGEWASTE of money.

Absolutely freaking ghetto pizza place. 3 inch plastic glass and 9 holes to speak through is pretty hard to order, especially with the boom box blaring and the kid taking my order could not hear me, he didn’t eve turn it down. It was so loud I almost walked out but had a short lunch. Def not coming back. How a big company like this lets this place stay open is beyond me.

Lol. These people are so unorganized. Placed an online order at 1030am for a 3:00pm pick up. Then called papa john’s to confirm they had received the order at 1:30pm; Talked to Teresa. Went to pick up order at 3pm sharp and they couldn’t locate my order. The lady said. .i had the wrong location, then asked 4 Times if I’m sure I placed an order. I Showed them my email with the confirmation time, date, order and location of pick up. Pizzas wasn’t not ready. . Then pizza was just mediocre in taste but high in price. I will not return to this location. May not return to papa johns.

My worst experience with Papa John’s and I promise that I will never visit this store again. Terrible! First, I call and for whatever reason the location that shows on my iPhone is not the location I was in fact speaking with. My phone led me to a store that was supposed to be on Hawthorne Blvd instead of the actual location on Crenshaw. I showed up after driving all over Inglewood and it takes another 10 minutes to get a parking spot in their tiny lot. I paid for my pizza and raced home so that I would not be eating a cold pizza and I find that, not only do I have to microwave it, it’s not the pizza I ordered. Yes, I should have checked before I left, but who orders a one-topping onion pizza? I asked for pepperoni and when I called back to complain all they could say was that I was only charged for an onion pizza(REALLY!?! Thanks for charging me for a one-topping pizza like I ordered!). For the foreseeable future I will be sticking with Pizza Hut and Dominos. Thanks for nothing Papa!

I ordered a thin crust pizza from them about a month and a half ago and it wasnt great. The crust was burnt and it wasnt very hot. But oh well. I figured I would give it another shot. So I ordered online and when I went to pick the pizza up the lady working there said my order was not in the system. They gave me a number to call for customer service but when I told them I didnt have my phone with me and I didnt want to go all the way home just to resolve the issue they refused to call using their phone. Some excuse with having to provide information about their store location blah blah. So I drove home and called the number and quickly cancelled my order. The lady on the phone was quite disapointed that the store wouldnt call them. Needless to say about 3 minutes later the same guy that wouldnt call customer service called me to apologize about not calling and offered me a free pizza. Thanks but no thanks. Ive learned my lesson from this POS place and Im never going there again.

Good Pizza. I ordered online to avoid the wait and crackheads lingering inside/out the store. Ordering online is cool since you have special deals online. Also, I didn’t know you could have your pizza cut into little squares, and have your pizza roasted a little longer to have it ‘Well Done’ Went inside to grab my pizza with no hassle. Better quality than Pizza Hut or Dominoe’s for sure.
