I’ve been coming to LAX tacos for years and haven’t had a bad experience. The fact they made it drive thru acouple years back makes it even better

Drive thru is kinda funky if you’re alone in the car because it’s on the passenger side. Food is kick ass. Authentic and worth the awkwardness.

I’m hungry and want an LAX taco… or burrito. First choice for lunch! If they sold chicken and waffles I’d buy stock shares. Soooooo delicious!

Tacos have been great flavor no matter which I get, everytime. Al pastor and carnitas mixed burrito is my favorite. The«veggies» is a mix of pickles carrots, onions and jalapeños with fresh radishes are a must to get on the side to munch on while your enjoying your tacos.

My sidepiece was raving about this place when I told him about the amazing seafood ceviche I had in San Diego. I figured I’d finally give this place a shot based on the glowing reviews and close proximity to the airport. We ordered a carnitas burrito and two orders of the safood ceviche tostada. I can’t remember the prices, but the ceviche was very filling and flavorful, with plenty tortilla chips on the side. I do prefer slices of fresh avocado instead of guacamole on the side, but no doubt the portion was just right. The carnitas burrito was tasty along with the spicy carrots(free!!!), but I’ve had better in San Diego. Best believe we finished off our meal with a giant cup of horchata! Quick service with fresh ingredients, this place definitely hits the spot. Prices are competitive, and I’ve seen prices increase over the years at many other taco joints closer to the border as well. The location is pretty small, so don’t expect to eat inside because you’re just ordering from a window(indoors), but there’s a couple tables on the patio if you’re looking to dine-in. Oscar’s Mexican Seafood in SD still trumps in seafood ceviche, but this comes at a close second!

The meat is flavorful but the food is overall very mediocre. Especially for the price… I would have given then 3 stars but the poor attitudes of the staff dropped it another star. You know those places that are noticeable grubby with the amount of food they give you in exchange for the amount of money you give them? This is that place. I ordered carnitas fries without carnitas, they charged me the same price for the ones with meat and gave me attitude when I asked for it on the side BECAUSE they charged me the same price… Also the overall customer service is beyond poor. BEYOND. I wouldn’t return. Unless it was the only place to eat. There are definitely better spots. Not worth the try, in my opinion.

I came here with my friend and ordered basically the whole taco menu. Got totally embarrassed though because after ordering the entire taco menu in english the drive-thru dude told me to reorder in spanish… because he couldn’t understand me. I was like wow wtf man, so I said fine: POLOTACO AHSAWDATACO PISSCADOETACO CARKNEEDASTACO BYREEYATACO BOOCHITACO ADOBETACO and that motherfucker understood me. really. he did. can confirm. absolutely did not mess up my order,. so that’s why 5 stars. because this guy is living proof that I should’ve gotten an A in my high school spanish class.

This is my GO-TO place right after I land in LAX… Nothing says«Welcome to LA» like street tacos. These are awesome. Don’t over-think this one!

«Con todo? Con todo?/ With everything? With everything?». Yes Please! VIsited just recently, late night/mornigng after leaving a concert at the Forum. Boy I was so glad their drive thru was still open. Still fast service, still good food. Made it home with bag of goodies: Torta, Asada, Pastor, Chicken Tacos, AND an Asada Quesadilla. No, I was not and I’m not drunk while writing this update. Place is still on point, same as back when I wrote the original review. Customer for life!

They are illegally charging a fee for using a credit card. Shady and unethical. One star. The food is just fine. This is L.A. so there is a ton of competition and this place doesn’t stand out. Prices are slightly above average. It’s best feature is the drive through but it’s weirdly on the right side of the car.

This update is for their menudo which is only available on the weekends($ 5.50). This is the second time I’ve hard it and it’s with mixed results. The first time they gave us so much intestines and other goodies that I was completely full and could not finish everything. The broth however was not as good as other places where I’ve tried menudo. However, this past Saturday, I tried the menudo again and the broth was pretty friggin’ kick a$$ except that they skimped on the intestine. Why the inconsistency, LAX Taco(sad face)?! Overall I have to say that it’s a delicious bowl of menudo but wish I had more of the chewy goodness to bite on. It comes with the usual toppings: chopped onions, oregano, limes, chilli peppers and several tortillas.

Thank you Unilocal buddies. I had a quick trip to LA and did not want to eat at their airport again. Before I dropped of my rental car and Unilocaled and found LAX taco’s. Given it was still daylight, why not explore the east side of 405. Glad I did! Loved the quick service, plentiful meat(carnitas and chicken) street tacos. There are other great items on the menu but I was in a hurry and also wanted to eat in car. There is a convenient drive thru but I decided to go to counter for full experience. Authentic, fast, flavorful and better than a taco truck. I’ll be back again to try other items. Thanks LAX tacos.

Really good tacos! They have asada, pollo, lengua, al pastor. If you don’t feel like having tacos, they also have burritos and tortas. They also aguas frescas such as horchata and tamarindo. You can walk inside or drive thru which may save you some time if you’re on the go. They have a small parking lot but you kight get lucky! One of the things not the menu being served is the carne asada fries which are delicious!!! They dont have a taco Tuesday special but the tacos are delicious. ONE thing I would suggest is eating the tacos there, they might be a little soggy of you wait to get home. Cool little spot if you’re in the area, check them out. They are no too far from the airport if you’re looking for some tacos not too far from there. Your neighborhood taco spot!

LAX Tacos happens to be around the area and our friends had brought us here two times. This third time my boyfriend I came, it was still excellent. The man in the cashier took our order and he was really nice, friendly and attentive to us since my boyfriend and I are picky people. Anywho, less than 5 min later and after a decent price we got our food. MANITWASPERFECT. The tacos here hit the spot, we got from three different options of meat and each were all perfect. Let’s not forget their red spicy salsa! Mmmmm … Still yet to try their famous«carne asada fries» but I’m in no rush because I know for a fact we will be visiting this place more often.

Last night I had to pick up a friend from the airport at 11pm and had 30 minutes to grab a quick bite so I quickly Unilocaled«burritos» near«LAX»(approximately 6 minutes away from the terminals) and found this place. This place is a simple drive-through and opens until 11:30pm. I had trouble deciding between the California Burrito and Carne Asada Fries because they’re both my favorites. In the end I opted for the carne asada fries because I figured it’ll be less hassle to eat that in my car. C A R N E A S A D A F R I E S I’m not sure if it’s because I was super hungry but these fries were amazing. I could tell that the fries were fresh because despite all the toppings they were still crispy. On top of the fries were carne asada meat, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, etc. I thought the meat quality was pretty good, it wasn’t dry at all. They give a generous amount of toppings so you won’t end up with a bunch of plain fries. It took them about 3 minutes to make my fries – efficient! I was a little bit sketched out because this drive-thru had a really odd layout… normally payment is supposed to be on the left side because that’s where the driver sits, but this one is on the right. Neither he nor I could reach over so he extended this metal rod with a box attached to the end for me to put my credit card inside and handed my food over the same way. I literally chuckled out loud cause it’s such a stupid mistake on their part to design the drive-thru like this. Either way, it’s not too big of a deal and the guy was pretty nice too. This place is definitely a good option if you’re near LAX and need to get a quick bite of something.

So fucken disappointed! Shame on you lax tacos for serving me double fried french fries. Fries that have been sitting there and instead of making me fresh ones they threw them back in the fryer to «warm them up.» Im sure a few of you unlucky Unilocalers have had drive thru food that you KNOW wasn’t fresh but was placed back in the deep fryer. Yuck. They were extremely greasy un-edible, hard, over cooked, dark brown, dry & just plain wrong. The Asada meat was also salty this time around. I realized once I got home since I ordered some Asada fries to go but seriously… Where are your standards lax tacos? This is how you know that they don’t care about the customers. I wasted my time & money I’m so pissed right now! Ugh, never again. 0 stars

Only 3 stars? Why for? Not bangin’ on the food. What I ate was pretty damn good and for the price & quality… es una ganga(its a deal)!!! After weeks… months of entertaining the thought of trying out LAX Tacos it finally happened. And it happened on Torta Tuesday. Torta cause Ive out grown Taco Tuesday. Had the Al Pastor torta with everything. Mmmmmmm it met my expectation on taste and quantity. It was a real beast of a sandwich. Plenty of flavored pork along with beans, cilantro & onions and cheese. But honestly if were to do a «do over» I’d say«no cheese please». It takes away from really savoring the Al Pastor seasoning and besides its .50¢ extra. Fuck that shit! ¡JKJKJK!(see posted pic) But for reals tho… This torta is worth a try and there is plenty to choose from. The service was a hint bit on the slow side and alas just slow enough to be mentioned in this review. I’m also not a fan of the extra charge for using your debit card either but there is a choice for that. Its .50¢ for the extra debit charge OR whatever their ATM will charge you(plus your banks charge) for pulling out cash to save that .50¢. What makes this place a 3 star joint is not the food or service but rather the parking situation. It was frustrating to look for street parking and nearly impossible to park in the private lot because the line for the drive thru was blocked most of the time. Its a mess and only kiiiinda worth the effort to park a long distance for the food. Especially if your pressed for time. Other Details: I like that there is shaded patio seating or you can step inside its clean indoor area. The prices are perfect! I got my torta & agua fresca for less than $ 10! Overall: LAX Tacos is A-OK with an upward trajectory. Already planning another visit as I write this and hoping to bump up the star rating to at least 4. Shouldn’t be too hard since the service is friendly, food is bomb and the whole thing is legit! Ay los watcho.
