The tlayuda was delicious and it’s bigger than I’ve had at other restaurants. The employees there are friendly and that’s truly a plus for me. Authentic Oaxacan restaurant. Second time here, and I’ll keep coming. Thank you.

Amazing authentic Oaxacan Mexican food! Their traditional Oaxacan chicken mole sauce tamales wrapped in green banana leaves are to die for :) I am sure they can custom make different flavor tamales:) They actually put the whole chicken leg and wrap it inside the tamale where it cooks with the tamale dough to stay tender:) You can’t find a lot of places that would cook in the most authentic way:) When you order tamales to go have to heat them up as they come refrigerated:) You can also have them heat them up when ordering a meal to eat there:) Their mole sauce is so yummy! I also ordered their super carnitas burrito! The carnitas inside is crisp and has that yummy crunch:) Their burritos are so good and come in a pretty good size where you can enjoy the next day:) Their rice and salsa for appetizers are great! They have a pretty good variety of meals on their menu, but still keeping that simple organized look to where you can customize a little bit:) I highly recommend coming here for a good lunch and dinner! A nice family are the owners:) Their son helps out around the restaurant:) The restaurant is on the smaller side but the cuisine that comes out of here is some of the best! I have been to Mexico so this is just like eating in Oaxaca, Mexico:)

I was really hesitant to walk into this place, but I was starving and decided to give it a Go! Place looks like it was once good, but now it’s just holding on by a thread. 1. Cleanliness: Smells like Raid. All the chairs and tables were dirty. I asked them to clean my table and chair and the lady said to sit at a different table and I told her they were all dirty. 2. Food: Tacos. Mediocre! Salsa tasted like tomato paste. Overall, would not recommend and will not go back again. $ 3.32 for 2 tacos that are not good! I’d rather go to Jack in the Box down the street and get their tacos over these.
