I bought three pain relieve patch two days ago, I opened one and it is cracked inside. So I called back and want to exchange the two that I never opened for some other patch. The clerk said no exchange, no return. And she is very rude. Beware!!! Beware their no return, no exchange policy! Aweful experience!

This is the second T&S Emporium location if you’ve ever been to the one on Nogales. This one is located directly across from Costco/LA Fitness. This one is definitely much cleaner and organized then the original location. But they also don’t seem to have as many items as the other one. If you’re looking for those chinese medicines or herbs/spicies they definitely have them here. Yes the prices have increased almost 50% in the past year but i guess that’s inflation for you. The checkout lines are organized like a frys style with one queue feeding into each register.

This T S Emporium is located right across from Costco! I don’t know how this place makes it, when I went, it was pretty empty… haha. It’s your typical T S Emporium, which is much cleaner than the other locations, which is a plus. Customer Service was fine, the lady helped us find a specific item we needed. Plenty of shopping carts both inside and outside of the store. Security Guards standing by the door, watching the entrance. I wonder why this particular T S Emporium is claimed, while all the others are not, interesting huh? Lol.

Clean and wide selection of asian products. I usually come here for incense(big selection) and lucky red envelopes(all occasions).

Nothing really fancy about this place. Has some of the generic food you see in any Chinese markets, but not a whole lot going on and definitely a bit on the pricy side. Much rather go a bit further east and go to 99 ranch instead.

The upper level has actually come a long way since this location’s early days, but it’s still… pretty dead up there. Zero business. I’m upping a star because this location is actually consistently clean and well-stocked(only con is that it doesn’t carry some specific three-in-one instant coffee brands that I like). They also have a lot of non-Asian cashiers working, which is cool to me since you don’t really see that in an Asian business(I’m talking cashiers only). Check out is always a breeze and there’s hardly ever a line unlike the Nogales location.

Went there yesterday to pick up some herb for a prescription I got from a friend. We avoided the TS Emporium on Nogales St. since we know the service there is really bad. We thought this newer location would be better. Well, we thought wrong. There were a couple of herb items on the list that we could not find. So we asked for help from one of the workers who were stocking things up in the herb isle where we were. We asked him nicely, and he told us to read the items. It is in Chinese. My wife read it to him, and he said in Chinese«If you don’t know then I don’t know». He was in such bad mood. So we went to the back and saw a lady behind the glass counter for the specilized herb section. We asked her the same question. This time we got a short answer to the location of the herb. And we saw the rude guy also behind the counter. He apparently knows the stuff, just did not want to provide any help. What a lousy service. Next time we would rather go to small shop where we could get more explanations.

People need to stop comparing this 21st century location with those in the 20th. Yes, it lacks in certain products and it has a 2nd floor. But, it gets the job done when you need fresh veggies pre-packed for you and all grades of dried ginseng. This place is clean and oh so SHINY! I like shiny. It doesn’t smell awful, only when you get near the ginseng section(I’m not a fan, go figure). The smell I’m referring to is the«broken in» smell from all the feet traffic and rotten veggies. There’s a lot of employees here, strange, it’s such a small place, but more the merrier, right? Veggies are super fresh and are pre-packed, they don’t put out their whole stock, which means for fresher veggies for your dining table. If they run out on the shelves, all you have to do is ask for them and they’ll bring it out if there’s any left. I like this system better because your veggies aren’t out in the open for people to touch and sneeze/cough on before you buy it. This location also puts the«Made In…» or «Product of…» information right on their big olé price tags, which makes choosing snacks so much easier and faster!(If you grew up like me, your parents always told you to eat with caution, don’t get anything Made in China LOL, they’re so funny) My main complaint comes from the cashiers. They’re all nice, but the system is a bit lame. You can scan all those with barcodes, but when you buy a boat load of different veggies, they have to individually look up the code on a tiny screen and then punch in that number. It’s quite tedious and it doesn’t make much sense.(Some times they’ll remember the codes for the more common veggies, but it’s not enough) Perhaps they can put a sticker price tag or their own barcode on it. I always feel bad when the hispanic guy cashes us out and takes almost 20 minutes to figure out what certain things are. One time, my mom had to walk all the way back to the produce section to tell him how much it is… So yea, that’s TS Emporium for most of your Asian needs. Happy Shopping!!! =]

A lot less people than their other location on Nogales. It’s clean and organized. I don’t mind coming here to get some snacks or some dried scallops.

Stopped nearby and noticed that this place had become a T S Emporium. I had passed by the T S Emporium in Rowland Heights, but had never ventured inside due to how crowded it usually was. This T S Emporium is a lot more accessible and has more parking, not so crowded as many of the other Asian markets in the area tend to be. Found a lot of products here not available at some of the other Asian markets I’ve been to. Bought a variety of medicinal teas I had not seen at other markets and food items that I absolutely love now but can’t get at a closer Chinese market. The staff were very helpful and courteous, and the saleslady behind the medicine counter helped us find appropriate medicine for different ailments and even showed us how to use some health equipment they were selling. The cashier let us know about their current promotion where you get a different free gift depending on how much you spend and we got a nice bowl as a parting gift. Got to say I actually like this market a lot more than some of the other Asian markets in the area. Most of the staff seems to speak English very well or are native speakers and the store overall seems friendlier to peoples from other cultures as opposed to a lot of the Asian markets I’ve been to in the San Gabriel Valley. Second floor is still pretty bare, but hopefully they’ll get some better businesses up there soon. Will definitely be back!!!

This place will probably go out of business soon. There’s nothing good in the store. I only went because I had to buy my grandparents joint support supplements and fish oil. The saleslady tried to sell me some $ 155 calcium tablets. Um, NOTHANKS! Just because we were bored, we ventured upstairs in search for the promised 10% off items. The upstairs sucked even more than downstairs. These layouts may work in China but it’s not going to work here.

Bought ginseng there and tried to return within 3 days and got denied. They do not honor their return policy. Do not go there or make sure you do not have to return after purchase!

Skinny: Big store but is lacking in stock. Opening day was a downer. The Fat: The store is big but is lacking in a lot of stuff that other more established TS Emporiums would have. The lamest thing was, we got our a receipt and the workers were telling people to take their receipts upstairs to get a free gift. We went up the stairs only to be rejected because we have to spend at least $ 68 to get a free gift. The free gift? A bottle of soy sauce the size of a glue stick. Talk about cheap. I’ll come back in a few months and hopefully it’ll be better stocked.

the new T S Emporium location is now open! it is located across from costco.
TODAY was the GRANDOPENING! they have had a soft opening for the past three weeks. i wanted to buy lotto there but they didn’t sell tickets cuz i figured that chinese businesses follow a calendar to see which auspicious day to officially choose for their opening. it’s a lot bigger than the other ones. this one is two stories. downstairs you can get your groceries, herbs, household products. along the sides, there are other businesses that sell accessories, clothing, jewelry, etc. upstairs there are more small shops like the how the ranch99 del mar location is set up. it’s a chinese store is similar to san gabriel superstore where you have groceries and other small shops around it in the same area. they have water boilers, pots&pans, incense, slippers, etc. they even carry a mahjong table with automatic shuffling. heheh. now i don’t have to drive all the way to nogales if i want to visit T S Emporium!
