We work with Carlos Aguilar, with Rudy’s Pest control since 2012, and it is just an excellent service, excellent results, excellent customer relationship. When ever we had creators«invasion» in the past, Carlos was always there in a timely manner. He calls us before coming to check if everything is under control. I’m a realtor and I do recommend Rudy’s to my client and friends.

We have had Rudy’s for many years now as our pest service. I have never had a single problem with them. I used to have their tech by the name of Jose for a long time who was extremely nice. He move on & no longer works for them. Now, we have had Albert and he’s really the reason I decided to leave a review today. He is so kind and attentive especially when I had an annoying mosquito issue. Employee’s with integrity and a positive attitude go a long way. As a small business owner myself I know first hand how hard it is to find employee’s with a good positive work ethic. The service industry could use a heck of a lot more«Albert’s» that is for sure. Terrible, guy came to my house to give me a bid on exterminating rodents, had total attitude and quoted me a ridiculous price. Had Dewey come in for $ 400 less. thanks Dewey! Screw Rudy!

I don’t even know where to begin. We signed up in November of 2013 and were told we were required to have a one year contract with a debit card on file to charge our card. We got that service and then nothing for months. I thought the point of an automatic service was that they automatically come out. We requested the every other month service with the promise of a warranty for call backs if there was a problem. Every month there was a problem and we only got 1 other service between November and July of 2014. After several charges to my card without actual service and then a bout of fire ants in my children’s room; I had enough. The manager finally came to our house with a new tech who wasn’t assigned to our neighborhood and took care of the issue and said they would credit us for a charge that we had where we didn’t get service. They got a copy of our gate key and were told that the every other month service doesn’t really work and we should do it every month. We agreed and our tech was finally on a schedule… albeit, he never had the key for me to let him in our gate. I was fine with it as long as someone came out as promised; and this kid did! Alas, our date came and went and nobody came. I called and inquired about him and asked to get our key back. Was told he no longer works there and they don’t have our key. After much ado, I was called back and told they do have the key and they would drop it off the next morning before 9 am and complete a service. That was 10 days ago. Never got a call. Never got my key. Finally called spoke to another manager and finally was able to cancel(I’ve threatened many times in the past with their promise to fix it). We have used Rudy’s off and on since we bought our home in 2005. They have gone down hill and nobody knows what the other person is doing. You call the office and they say it’s the tech’s fault. But the tech does not come out and then calls you and says he didn’t know about it. The lack of organization here is very unprofessional and frustrating. If you are going to run a business where the tech is responsible for customers; they should have a central dispatch that they coordinate with regularly and someone who can tell you when you can expect a tech. Sad to say good bye; but we will have to find another company.

I am very disappointed with Rudy Pest Contol. When I hired them after taking over managing an apartment property in Indio I was very happy. They took care of major problem the apartment was having. I leaned in October they had stopped coming by in May, the roaches returned. I called the office and they said you need to speak to the manager, I left Eric Ramirez messages with no return phone call. I called the office again, was told that they attempt to reach me three times, when I asked how, there was no answer. I cannot believe my account was cancelled with no notification phone or email and no sense of responsibility return my phone calls.

I’m giving them 2 stars because they’re nice people, otherwise I’d rate a one star. I’m renting a home where the landlord uses Rudy’s. The home has a lot of problems with bugs. The house was getting sprayed every 3 months, but when it started warming up, we experienced an increase in bugs. I contacted my landlord, and she agreed to have them spray monthly, instead of quarterly. She said she asked them to adjust it for us. When the guy came to spray & I asked him about the monthly spray, he said something about how it would be hard/not sure if he could adjust the contract she already signed up for. Lo & behold I called this morning to find out when my next spray is scheduled for, and it’s scheduled for August. I’ve also had a hard time(& my landlord too) of getting a call back from the gentlemen who sprays our house to setup service. He was just out last week, and there’s still bugs in my house. I’m really at a loss of words at this point. Like I said, they’re very nice people, but their customer service, or lack of, needs improvement. Their communication skills need to be developed. I shouldn’t have to take time out of my day to have to deal with problems because they can’t followup & do THEIR job.
If you have a limited problem with bugs, then I guess they would be okay. However, if you have problems, and require more attention then what’s ‘normal’. they are probably not for you.

We never had a problem with Rudy and his service it was a great. I do recommend that you do read the fine print on the contract because there are some things in there that some people might not like it but if you’re going to have a contract he might as well have it last for the whole year that you have it. They took care of all of our issues and problems thank you.

We have a «winter» home in one of the mass built communities in Palm Desert which was plagued with rats, especially when we were not there. Rudy’s did«exclusions» for the normal rat activity; however, the rats kept coming. After many visits, they found a faulty sewer vent pipe deep in the attic causing the problem. They replaced it and solved the problem. Rudy’s had many opportunities to say they could not find it, but spent many trips for my very reasonable fixed fee determined to find it. I know they lost money on me, but they deserve credit for sticking with it and solving the problem.
