1st time eating here, found it on Unilocal and decided to try it. I ordered a large sausage pepperoni, when it arrived I snapped a pic and was very excited to try this gorgeous pizza. I took my first bite and was so disappointed. The sausage had a weird taste so the second bite I tried to figure out what was wrong. I came to the conclusion after I finished my only piece that either someone there made a mistake and used hamburger or they had some bad sausage. So I was disappointed to say the least after spending $ 26 and not able to eat it. Sorry but I don’t think I will try again cause I don’t know if a mistake was made or they use sub par meats.

I like all types of pizza. This type of pizza is the«very heavy on the toppings» pizza that focuses on a quantity of toppings rather than the crust or sauce(what I call«bar pizza»). I had a 16″ with sausage, ham, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and jalepenos. The sauce was adequate both in quantity and taste but did not taste like it was made in house. The crust was very plain and didn’t taste like it was fresh made. The toppings, especially the meat, are very plentiful. Personally, I would like fresh mushrooms but these tasted canned. However, the overall mix of flavors was pretty good and I enjoyed the pizza. The jalepenos, though canned, were pretty crisp and had a lot of pop. This pizza would definitely satisfy some hearty appetites as it weighed about 10 pounds. They cut into 8 pieces so if you have many eaters, you may want to have it cut into more pieces. I would say this pizza was better than the last one I had from the Ordinary, which wasn’t very good. However, I still feel this pizza falls slightly short of Gallagher’s for this type of pizza. My favorite pizza still remains Bazbeaux on Mass Ave.
