This place is great if you’re looking to mix up your average night out! I have gone several times to Bingo Bango, and have enjoyed myself every time! The Muncie Brothers clown duo provide a night full of hilarious commentary. Definitely not for any of your well-mannered friends! There is a cover, so come prepared with cash. Bingo happens once a month, and they post the date on the website. If you win bingo, you’ll be called up on stage to claim your prize. Prizes are always random items that appear to have been purchased at garage sales. Winning bingo will also que regular burlesque dancer, Alabaster Betty, do do the next part of her routine. Overall, a nice addition to the Fountain Square area and something different to try out for a night on the town!

Place seems pretty nice, no Mexican beers are served here tho. Strike one, very limited seating appears to be set up go mainly for a stand up crowd without any bar tables … Strike two Standing and holding your drinks isn’t a problem for you then this is your place

Thets make a date. Always a interesting and entertaining time. Decent drink specials, no food feel free to bring your own, but always great entertainment. I wish they would create an easy bar menu… Olives crackers popcorn bar mix…

I went with a group of friends to White Rabbit Cabaret for New Years Eve. My friend picked it out because it was something different to do, and way cheaper than getting a table anywhere else. We got the premium tickets that guaranteed us a table in the front row, which meant more clown and mime contact, which could be good or bad, depending on your perspective. When we first sat down, I thought it was probably not my ideal situation to be in the front row, as the clown running the show was a bit aggressive. But, he actually was very clever and managed to keep the bingo game/burlesque show funny and engaging the whole time. This is not a family-friendly show, so expect a lot of blue and raunchy humor. But for an experience you won’t soon forget, and certainly won’t find anywhere else in Indy, check out White Rabbit cabaret.

When I think of Fountain Square, the quirky, fun atmosphere of the White Rabbit comes to mind. The White Rabbit is one of those clubs that I picture myself owning if I were to ever own a club(unlikely to happen). It’s a club full of random events, including comedy, dancing, bingo burlesque, and the list goes on and on. My favorite event, by far, is Real Talk, which happens the second Saturday of every month. The DJs are great and the drinks are pretty reasonably priced — heads up: you’ll have to pay $ 5 cover but it’s worth it. The staff and owner are very welcoming and nice people, which goes a long way. You feel like you can be your weird, quirky, outgoing self here and that’s what makes the White Rabbit, the White Rabbit. Thanks for great memories!

Completely exceptional location, staff and all about excellent food and drink. Much better than I had been anticipating from your physical activities team region. A whole decrease on the rest. Exceptional workers improves the splendour

The White Rabbit is a diverse location in Fountain Square that brings in different target audiences, which is great asset to the area and factor in their success. I’ve been to several great live shows, both by local and touring acts. They participate in Tonic Indy, the annual Second Helping fundraiser where local bands cover major bands/hits. You can also catch a Burlesque show and Bingo Bango hosted by a crude clown, and even participate in a dating show. This is also the spot where local DJs A-Squared(Annie & Andy Skinner) and DJ Action Jackson spin favorites for Real Talk. The downsides: — It’s crazy chaotic trying to get a drink at the bar, and everyone is shoving for a place ‘in line’, which is non-existent. — The women’s restroom ALWAYS has a major line. — It gets HOT dancing & you forfeit your entry if you need to go outside to catch your breath. If you have to stand in line again, you may never get back in. The upside: — They’ve got space in the back of the room with couches for you to hang out on if you don’t want to be up close in the middle of the action. — I love dancing and have a great time whenever I go.

I appreciate what White Rabbit is and does. If you want to really get out of the mundane bar crawls, beer tastings and overdone everything, come for a show at the White Rabbit — you will not walk away disappointed. Drinks are great, shows are out there and you can’t help but have a good time. You do you, White Rabbit. You do you. Drinks: 4⁄5 Shows/Events: 4⁄5 Staff: 3⁄5 Place: 3⁄5

One of the most unique venues in town. Located in Fountain Square near several other entertainment venues. The venue hosts a number of different entertainment options but is known for its burlesque shows. Known as well for Bingo Bango.

I’m constantly torn between my desire to be a cute geeky girl who doesn’t go out, drinks tea, and doesn’t have a sexy bone in her body and my desire to be a leather-clad sex kitten who has people falling at her feet. Places like this make me want to be the latter. I’m leaving Indy in a little over a month, so I’m trying to visit all the places in Indy that I’ve always wanted to visit but never got around to, and the White Rabbit Cabaret was the first stop on this last hurrah tour. I arrived around 9:30p or so for the 10p show, which was meant to evoke the classic version of burlesque(think Gypsy Rose Lee). The show didn’t start until 10:30p, and I think it was mostly because they had a live jazz band playing and Indy Jazz Fest was going on at the same time. Do the math. All of the girls were super talented and lovely, but — and this is more a complaint about burlesque dancers in general as opposed to the venue– but why do burlesque dancers choose the most unoriginal/predictable names and/or ones that completely bastardize the French language? If I ever got into burlesque(DON’T WORRYDAD I’M NOTGOINGTOPLEASECALMDOWN) I’d be something extremely ordinary like«Mary Smith.» I’m getting off topic here, so back to the venue– there were people from all walks of life here and the audience was very respectful(well, as respectful as you can be to someone wearing nipple tassels of their own volition). In addition to their burlesque shows, that have bingo nights and other fun events with a burly twist. Bring your pepep, he’ll love it.

Oh well this little gem was something unique for the parents from Carmel, who don’t go «out» anymore. A friend of mine Trisha Shepherd just released«Know When to Run» {you should get a copy!} and had her book launch party here Saturday night during NOISE! It was awesome — live piano karaōke! Never seen anything like it but the singers were GOOD and FUN and BRILLIANT, including Trisha. The White Rabbit hosts all kinds of cool shows — comedic, broadway and musical on weekends. It’s tinier than I expected but the intimacy is awesome. The bar was just the right amount of busy and no one shows up until closer to 10:30 or 11. The bartender was great! She was super sweet and never let my drink get empty — perfect for me! We sat at the end of the bar and enjoyed everyone we met throughout the evening and celebrated the book launch. It was a lot of fun. I think we’ll go back!

It wasn’t a regular business night when I visited. From many of the fliers around I think they host many different events here in addition to their regular gig. We were enjoying the first night of the Fountain Square Music Festival. White Rabbit were terrific hosts for this party. The bar tenders were friendly and efficient. The selection at the bar was great too. I am not sure where parking may be except for the street as we rode our bicycles. The interior was a little worn but clean and comfortable. The crowd in Fountain Square is diverse. People of all ages and outlooks coming together for some great music and fun. I always have a good time when going out in Fountain Square.

I love this place. Great drinks, great staff, great entertainment. I’ve been a patron for several years and plan on keeping it that way for years to come. You can tell the owners care about quality, and that’s what keeps me coming back.

A true gem. This is a cabaret in the true meaning. Burlesque, Vaudeville, and deranged clowns. Burlesque Bingo Bango is a must try experience. Ohh and did I mention I am in love with Alabaster Betty. Great drinks, no food.

Two words: boobies and bingo. That’s what you get at Burlesque Bingo night(Wednesday) at the White Rabbit Cabaret. Picture two men dressed as clowns(one is mute, the other vulgar) running the bingo part of the show and in between games a pinup type burlesque dancer seductively takes off a piece of clothing. Drinks are cheap. When you win, you get ridiculed on stage. You win you get a pickle pin. You win you get a terrible, hilarious prize you may or may not want. You repeat win wearing the pickle you get extra prizes. The clown that doesn’t talk has candy(sometimes cupcakes) to pass out to audience members. Double bingo winner? You get to be in a dance off to settle the win. WHATISTHERENOTTOLIKEPEOPLE??? $ 5 to get in the door. Show starts at 9. I also highly recommend for other events such as comedy and music acts. The ‘Let’s Make a Date’ night is also very popular although I have yet to go. Tip: Don’t go if you are afraid of clowns, buttons or f-bombs.

What’s not to love about White Rabbit? It is certainly one of the most unique places in Indianapolis. The venue is perfectly relaxed with low-key lighting, a good sized stage and a bar that is stocked with beer worth drinking. One of the few places in Indy with Hopslam. The programming, however, is upbeat, idiosyncratic and hysterically entertaining. Burlesque Bingo Bango is an absolute must. Post photos on Instagram and you’re sure to get a few«wtf?s» from those who don’t have the privilege of seeing Alabaster Betty strut her stuff while a clown drinks from a mug shaped like Larry Bird and two drunk men compete in a dance competition to win a kazoo made from a baby shoe. Don’t you DARE call out«free space» if you win. No, no, no. Real Talk is also worth a go; wear shoes that you can destroy.

This is one of my favorite venues in the city, not only for the vibe but also for their eclectic programming. The interior of the space is lovely with low lighting, fancy vintage furniture, and a long bar. I’ve always been able to find some crafty local beers to try. The programming is diverse and different from most other places… I’ve seen modern dance, adult marching band to indie rock. Although I’ve never been, my best friend can’t get enough of the live sitcoms — weekly episodic comedy that is hosted here. There are lots of other events on their calendar I’d love to check out, too. If you see an interesting event advertised and this is the venue, you’re in for adventure — check it out!

Been twice now. Once for a meet and greet event. It was nice and relaxed. Drinks were great and the bartender really seemed to know her products. Other time was for a fundraiser Burlesque show. Not as enjoyable. I loved the show. But a lot of the seating was«reserved» even though reservations were not available to the general public or those who had bought tickets in advance. This led to a lot of people just standing around in between tables, sometimes so close you couldn’t move. And getting close to the bar to order a drink was almost impossible. We had planned on having several drinks each through out the night and only could manage to get to the bar once. Would I go back? Sure. Just not for the save the boobies fundraisers!

Very unique show… loved The Bingo Bango Burlesque Show on New Years Eve… can’t wait to go back… loved the bingo prizes and Alabaster Betty where do you get your awesome lingerie? Not your typical bar but a great place to have fun… want to go back for fake authors and fake stories…

I went here with my husband and some friends for a burlesque show a while back, and it was a fun enough evening. Not something I’d do often, not because I’m a prude, but just because it’s just not really my style. That said it was cheeky, entertaining show, and they serve Lambic Framboise, which I happen to love. If nothing else, it’s the kind of thing you should see live at least once, so give it a try.

Don’t let the blacked-out windows fool you! They’re just to deter the unadventurous. White Rabbit plays host to an unforgettable slew of unfiltered shenanigans fit for a night-out with friends – even a date. Tell yourself«YES!» and hit-up a show. A spectacular night of sparkly corn dogs, tantalizing choreography, and raunchy comedy awaits within White Rabbit Cabaret!

What a gem. I wandered in her with my wife after grabbing a latte from the funkyard. It was a Tuesday night and there were no events so the space was quiet and there were only a few patrons at the bar and sitting by the window. White Rabbit Cabaret reminds me of one of my favorite bars in New Orleans, Pravda, which sadly is no longer there, and in its place sits Cane and Table which is quite different. The bar in the cabaret is actually quite quaint, and the majority of the space is dedicated for tables and standing/dancing. I can see how this place would be great for events. By the two front windows are fancy 18−19th century settees, chairs, and arm chairs that sit around 80−90s coffee tables. The place as a whole is eclectic merging old with new and is quite unique. It also comes with some interesting patrons. I’ll definitely be coming back here just to hang out.

So, this place kind of rocked my socks off. I’ve had so many people tell me I needed to check this place out and last night I finally had the opportunity! The atmosphere is super interesting and the bar service is top-notch. The night we were there, Dorgan and Milroy(the Muncie Brothers) put on a spectacular show that mostly consisted of crazy, audience engaging contests. Unicorn mask? Check. Pin-the-mustache-on-the-incredibly-creepy-giant-clowns face? Check. I knew you were wondering. I definitely want to return in the future and catch one of their burlesque shows, as that’s what most people rave about. I heard cover is generally between $ 5-$ 10 dollars for some of the bigger shows, but I believe that it’s more than worth it for the drink service/show you will enjoy! I’ll be back, White Rabbit. You’ve got me right where you want me.
