This course offers challenges to even some of the best golfers. Sure, its not incredibly well maintained, but for paying $ 10 to walk 9, what more do you want? It has a great mix of hole difficulty, from short par 3’s to a difficult and sketchy par 5. Overall, this course is exactly what it should be for the price. And to anyone complaining about management, get over yourself. This isn’t a private course that you pay a membership for.

Two fat guys dropped their pants and took a leak on a 6th hole pine tree right in full view of other golfers, including women and kids. I called over to the front desk to tell them about it and they couldn’t care less. I’d say the real problem is the attitude of management. They don’t police their golfers with any rules. These guys often drive their golf carts worse than they golf; they’re up in neighbors yards, they piss anywhere they want. Its a beautiful course to look at but they manage it badly. The first thing I’d do is fire the guys who think they’re in charge. When a family complains about guys dropping their pants and urinating in public, in front of kids, you expect management to drive over and say something to them. Not just blow you off or tell you to get over it. I’ve played a lot of golf at a lot of courses, but these guys running the desk here, they have a bad attitude and a lack of respect.

City courses, right? The fairways may be lacking, the greens need help and the flack in between needs better management. 15 bucks per 9 is a little steep for a 9 hole course that is minimally maintained. But, and there is always a but, it’s quiet. There are some challenges, as in how to play short. For all of us long hitters, here is where we learn to lay off and learn how to approach the game of golf. It’s like chess. Each shot is different as we haven’t had to lay up before. I like the course for it’s simplicity. Everyone needs the exercise, even if it is to walk a little up the hill to see what’s over there…

Driving Range — It was pitiful. It’s $ 6 for a bucket of large ball, which is expected for a decent area. However, it’s a treck up the hill. There are hardly any flags nor a level, grassy area for the tees. I’ll probably come back to check out the course, but definitely not for the driving range until it gets updated.
