The pizza is really good. Been looking for good food since moving to Indpls from San Francisco and we found it at WB Pizza. Will go back and try the other food. Don’t go to those other places for pizza you will be disappointed. The service was excellent. Mike made good suggestions and took good care of us. Highly recommend WB.

I was so excited to see a local pizza joint in the neighborhood, especially one with a tasty Chicago style pizza! Granted that’s all I’ve tried from here because I love it, I’m looking forward to trying other stuff as well. Also the staff is very friendly the few times I’ve been there, which for me is a big plus!

My husband and I have been to WB Pizza many times for date night! We have had great pizza, craft beer, and excellent service each and every time! We enjoy the personal touch that comes with the pizza, pasta and yummy must try Olive Loaf Bread! They have denoted vegan options, vegetarian options and special dietary items on the menu! All are of the highest quality! They have a great intimate setting. After you are done with dinner stroll over to the near by cupcake shop, paint your own pottery place, or Kahn’s fine wine!

We went on a snowy Sunday night(have there been any other kind lately??) and were the only patrons eating in. The service, needless to say, was awesome and when we mentioned that our pizza was a bit lukewarm in the center, they quickly heated it up, and also offered to replace it(no need, it was perfectly fine.) We had the Neapolitan crust which was wonderful(just thick enough) and the Grant Park toppings which were also wonderful. The breadsticks and cheese were delicious, crispy outside, warm and soft inside, not too doughy. I would go back here again and this is going to become our go-to pizza place. Service is great, food is wonderful – what more can you ask for! Go here soon and eat!

WB has some of the best pizza in Central Indiana and I was glad to see that they opened an additional store close to my home. The pizza sauce is homemade and chunky(the way it should be). They have several styles of pizza to choose from(thin, deep dish, Chicago-style, Sicilian) so everyone in your party will be able to order something.

Pizza is REALLY good. HOWEVER I will never again order a pizza with red sauce because there are huge, crisp onion cubes in the pizza sauce. I cannot deal with that texture. So be forewarned, if you are not an onion fan, order a different sauce(such as pesto, bbq, or white). My coworkers probably felt like they were eating with a 5-year-old, watching me peel the cheese back on each slice to remove the onions before I consuming the slice. Our server REALLY wanted to bring me something new, without onions, but really… the taste was delicious despite my inconvenience, so I kept my ricotta and spicy Italian sausage pizza. There are 3 different crust options: deep dish, original thin, and ultra thin. They also have whole wheat crusts. Lots of different cheeses including ricotta, feta, and vegan Teese. Prices are very affordable and there are tons of choices including appetizers I haven’t seen anywhere else, salads, sandwiches, pasta, calzones, desserts, and many unique(but not super bizarro) specialty pizzas. Location is in the strip mall kind of behind LePeep… I think it’s the same lot as Kahn’s liquor store. Lots of people know where Athens on 86th is… WB Pizza is about 3 doors down. Give it a try! I’m glad we did… and they have a card for repeat customers that gets you discounts the more often you visit.

I ordered carryout, choosing the San Diego, after agonizing over what to try out for my first WB purchase. The San Diego sounded perfect, and came with all the veggies I would have normally picked out myself(portabellas, jalapenos, green olives, artichokes & onions). The pizza was ready at the time quoted, and the service was wonderfully nice and enthusiastic. The dine-in area was tastefully decorated and you can tell the owners put a lot of care and thought into prepping the new location’s interior. I had an extremely difficult time in not picking at the toppings on the way home, but gave up all willpower once parked in my driveway, where I ate a couple slices with my engine running. The pizza was outstanding, the best I’ve tried since moving to Indy. The crust had that chewy wood-oven-type taste, but didn’t fall prey to the inconsistent soggy or burnt problems that Napolese(my 2nd favorite place) can sometimes produce. You could tell a difference in the quality of veggies and cheese, and the sauce tasted fresh and bright, not too many herbs and not too ketchup-like. The high quality ingredients did mean a higher price than what I was used to, but I was much more satisfied with WB than other pizza places(…and I typically don’t get so engrossed in other places’ pizzas that I can’t leave my car). I pretty much finished the San Diego over the course of the evening… yep. I highly recommend the San Diego and look forward to trying out some other specialty options, like the ricotta & sausage and vegan pizzas.

tonightt i decided to try this brand new pizza place. atleast the location was new. i orderd a 7″ ultra thin with cheese and pesto as the sauce. before i even walked into the restaurant i could smell the pizza outside. when i enterd i was greeted promptly by the owner. my to go order was not ready yet but he was super nice and you could really tell that he cared about his customers as well as employees. he shows this by not charging a delivery charge. his drivers dont want him too because than people may not tip as well. they also have a wb card with each punch you get 5 percent off your well as perks such as a free appitizer, free cheesecake and a free 12″ pizza. its a loyalty card that pays every time. now thats loyalty(:. after i got home it was time to dig into this wonderful creation. i was not disapointed at all. the flavor was good through the entire pizza. which is often hard to find at the chains. crunchy like a thin crust should be plenty of cheese and the pesto sauce was amazing.

Update(9−20−13): We came by tonight with another friend who came out of town, who wanted to try some pizza. My husband, his bestie, out-of-town friend and my daughter(toddler) were serviced by who we think is the owner’s wife. Our order and review: 1. Four Cheese Regular Crust Pizza — the crust on this pizza is good as their breadsticks. My husband really likes their breadsticks. I find them a little salty but he does not at all. I enjoyed this pizza but normally do not order four cheese pizza as I find them too plain. The guys liked this pizza over the one below; I thought the opposite since this pizza tasted a lil too salty. To give an idea how salty, about the same saltiness Olive Garden’s breadsticks. 2. Upside-down Deep Dish with garlic, artichoke, mild sausage and Canadian bacon — everyone agree there wasn’t too much crust this time and the crust was delicious just like their breadsticks. The guys thought the toppings were not impressive but the crust was. I thought the opposite as I thought their cheese and garlic tasted VERY fresh; sausage and tomato sauce very flavorful. This was the BEST pizza I have personally tasted since visiting the place. By the way, I normally don’t care for deep dish: ever. I would highly recommend this pizza. 3. My daughter and I ordered a different pasta this time. We had the Alfredo pasta(full plate). I asked how much pasta there was since my daughter(15 months) and I were going to share this. The lady said it would be a large portion and that there would be leftovers for lunch tomorrow — we finished the«bowl» of pasta with my daughter begging for more(she’s not a huge baby at 31 inches and 23lbs). The spaghetti noodles were mushy(same as the spaghetti with meat sauce at our last visit) which was perfect for my daughter but not so great for me. It did have fresh garlic as I crunched on a minuscule bit but I’m a big fan of fresh garlic. A little on the dry side with no cream sauce to accommodate but my daughter inhaled it. Husband thought it appeared unappetizing. For $ 11, it was not worth the bowl.
— chopped salad: this came with our pasta. Diced peppers, tomatoes, leaves and a couple other regular salad veggies. I opted for the celery seed dressing as another reviewer ordered but took heed to their review about how sweet it was so I drizzled a quarter of the tub on to my salad. I agree, it was definitely sweet. I felt the salad leaves were overly chopped(took time to collect leaves on my fork for a sizable bite) but the diced(very diced) peppers and tomatoes on top added a nice refreshing touch to this appetizer.
— olive loaf: this also came with my pasta. I opted for this instead since I had never had one. Picture a Christmas log made of pizza dough, rolled with chopped olives. It arrived sliced halfway up. Everyone had a piece and thought it was okay. Hubby thought it tasted salty but I did not notice. Overall, refills were topped, service was polite and attentive and clean. The St. Vincent area foodies started trickling in around 6 for takeout and a baby-boomer couple sat down just behind us. This new, quaint, quietly ambient, closely-quartered, homestyle pizzaraunt is undoubtedly better than your commercial dominos, donatos, papa-johns. A little under par to Papa Murphy’s(since their ingredients are 100% fresh), by far better than Jet’s pizza across the street on Township. The things I enjoyed MOST at WB Pizza was the mommy/poppy experience, fresh mozzarella and garlic, the breadsticks and the generous portions of cheese you got on pizza — something you rarely ever get in the Midwest.

This is a brand new place, but the second location for this brand. My friend lives nearby, and stopped by earlier this week-they gave her a grand tour! She said they even showed her where they make the pizza sauce. She was very impressed. The two of us went for pizza on Saturday. For appetizers we had the sausage roll and the WB sticks. I did try the sausage roll, and it did have good flavor. My friend loved it(I am not a fan of sausage-at all). The sticks were for me. I thought they were maybe a bit bland, but good. Cheese sauce was good. We split a chopped salad. We both had dressings they make there: the celery seed and the balsamic vinaigrette. We loved both-my friend said she liked the celery seed so much she«could drink it!» We had the Calgary pizza with BBQ. Good mix of flavors! Lastly, we had the chocolate cheesecake for dessert. They homemake their cheesecakes! It was DELICIOUS! It only had a slight chocolate flavor, but was soooo good. Texture was awesome. This was my first visit to a WB’s, and they were super friendly. WB himself was walking around and talking to guests. Awesome alternative to chains!
