My boyfriend plays poker every Saturday and Monday. Went with him one Monday night and got some drinks. The bartenders were friendly, quick at getting drinks out and making sure everyone was taken care of. Even though I didn’t try the food it looked good and the prices are definitely reasonable for the size portions they serve. Plenty of TVs, pool tables and places to sit. Good convos with the locals playing poker and I look forward to returning.

Had a fantastic time. Staff was very friendly. The drinks were prompt and well poured. The bar tender kept things upbeat and very entertaining. Overall my experence was one to remember I plan on attending this bar very often.

Very little changed here from the Beer Seller it appears. They added some couches, they moved the pool tables and they moved the stage, but otherwise it has the same type of feel. Drink specials are pretty good and there is usually no wait on Pool, Shuffleboard or the Skeeball. I was here during an 80’s cover band night who were really good. I really wish i remembered their name. I’m not sure if they had a Nintendo and Sega Genesis hooked up because it was 80’s night or if they always have it there but playing Mario Brothers on a comfy leather couch with a few drinks was pretty fun! Only issue is that there is only 1 console and people tend to not move so if you get there and someone is already sitting down on that couch, you may be waiting a while if you had your heart set on some retro gaming. With the lackluster choices of bars in Castleton, this one is great!

Great little starter place for drinks on your weekend. Don’t expect a woo-hoo party atmosphere. Specials and bar grub are a plus. Excellent tv and atmosphere during game day. Tip: Ask for the secret menu item called Elephant Ear bites… you will not regret it!

Nice bar, good music, the bartenders seem bored, the cook was eating wings in the kitchen, and the elephant bites were not worth it. Best to just drink and move on.

Some of the reviews on here are a little harsh. I personally have a different experience. I used to go to the Beer Seller quite a bit back in my single days. Now I’m married with three kids, so I don’t go to bars all that often. However, when my wife and I do get a night out with our friends, this is always the place we want to go. The new ownership took the concept of the Beer Seller and improved it to what is now the Yard Line. I think their menu is unique and edgy, granted, if you are dieting, then you might want to eat before you go, because I can only imagine the calories in the Craig Burger! They have several different beer choices, and the staff has always been very helpful, and quick with what you are requesting. It’s a fun environment. The bar has pool tables, shuffle board tables(my personal favorite), and various arcade games. They also have karaōke nights, which is a great way to hear people try to sing, then tell them they are actually good, and hope to see the American Idol judges rip them some day. I enjoy going there. It’s one of the few bars in the Castleton area that hasn’t turned completely ghetto, and where I don’t fear getting shot!

This place is HORRIBLE! Bartenders are very rude and the owner does NOTCARE how his staff acts towards customers. I was out of town and thought this would be a good place to eat and have a beer. However, I would go anywhere else to have better service! I do not recommend… Go down the street to «Joes Grill» & they treat you like somebody. FYI: I usually don’t do reviews but I would like to spread the word — Don’t come here. Recommendation: Fire the bartenders or Hire New Management that cares about customer satisfaction.

One of my favorite new places off the beaten path. Plenty of TVs to watch games, pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, golden tee and my personal favorite, Megatouch. Also, if you wanted a place to sit, drink and eat with friends on game day, they have leather couches with coffee tables set up to see some of their big screen TVs, you can easily watch multiple games at once. Now, just remember, this is a Bar, not a sit down, white table cloth restaurant. So don’t expect a red carpet entrance, but come for the laid back atmosphere to enjoy some quality time with friends!

Great place to watch sports games! Service was great and quick. Took home a pizza and it was REALLY good! I’ll definitely be back!

It’s not terrible but it’s not good either. Seems like they just don’t have a good setup for good service. The fried mushrooms tasted like they were pulled out if the dirt and not washed. The place just lacks character, I think it’s better than beer cellar but that’s not saying much.

If you’d like to feel invisible, stop by. When I walked in the blonde server was lying on the leather couch. She never did say hello. I managed to get a beer though. I would’ve probably ordered food if I’d been offered a menu. So. I paid for the beer and headed down the street to The Ale Emporium where I was welcomed in seconds.

This place is alright but not somewhere I would choose to go all the time. There are a decent number of beers of tap and the waitresses have always been friendly. But the food leaves something to be desired. It was pretty obvious our chicken wings were the frozen Tyson wings you can get in the grocery store. But if you’re not one for bar food this place can be enjoyable. Plenty of TVs showing all the games, a few pool tables, and pretty much the same look as the previous bar that was at that location.

If you’ve been to the Beer Sellar(the previous bar at this location), then you know what the Yard Line is like. The Yard Line is the Beer Sellar Part 2. Nothing has changed except they’ve added some leather couches. They still have a great selection of beers on tap. There is still a jukebox. The place still has no atmosphere(empty bar with 3 or 4 male customers). The food is still average. The bartenders still couldn’t be bothered with providing good service. I had dinner at the bar. The bartender was more interested in playing with her phone than waiting on me.

What a great new sports bar! Good food. Great atmosphere and plenty of TVs for the game of the day. We had a great time. I’ll be back!
