Michelle was a pleasure to deal with tonight! She provided unparalleled customer service and had extensive knowledge of furniture manufacturers. The best qualities she possessed had to do with chemistry! We clicked instantly while all the other sales people were busy playing helicopter parents roaming the showroom. I will be back to buy my living room furniture once I close on my new home! Hands down, Michelle could dance circles around ANY sales person. Bravo!

horrible customer service. if you do buy from here don’t waste the money on the warranty. USELESS. got 2 barstools and a 5year plan. the store never registered the warranty when i go back they SAYEVERYTHINGANDDONOTHING! so here i am with a ripped barstool and a store and main office pointing fingers at each other, meanwhile i get the shaft. can’t see myself ever shopping there again.

Our couch had a small tear at the seam and there was some confusion around what the extended warranty did and did not cover. Jasmine(VP of Customer Care) was able to intercept our frustrations and rectify the situation. She was a pleasure to work with!

BUYERBEWARE! If you are considering shopping at The Room Place, I urge you to look elsewhere! I should’ve taken all of the awful reviews into consideration before I stepped foot in this store. At first glance, this seems to be a nice store with a good selection of furniture. Wait until you place an order though! I can genuinely say that The Room Place has offered the absolute WORST customer service I have experienced in my life! I’m not joking! I placed an order for a couch in January to make sure it would be available for our move in April. I called them on two occasions just to confirm that my couch would be available on the date that it was supposed to be available. Both times I was told it would be in with no issues. I received a call the next day telling me that due to a «computer error» my couch would not be ready until next week. Fast forward another week and I get the exact same phone call after I had already confirmed that my couch would be available! In fact, I even received a call from the delivery company giving me a time that they would be at my house! I thought I was in the clear until I received a call from a rude customer service representative who informed me that my couch would actually not be delivered due to yet another«computer error.» I was incredibly confused and requested to speak with the manager who seemed more interested in getting me off the phone rather than taking time to hear my complaint. The manager actually revealed that the customer service representative had LIED(on multiple occasions!) and that there was never a computer error-they had never bothered to place the order for my couch. Mind you, we ordered this in January and it was April and my couch was still not ordered and no one could inform me when it would actually be ready. I was SO glad that I could get a full refund. I think it is atrocious that a manager feels like it is acceptable to tell their employees to lie to customers, saying that they had a «computer error» which is was actually their own fault. Maybe they should put themselves in the customers shoes and realize that we had a new house and nowhere to sit for nearly two weeks because of the incompetence of their poorly trained, unprofessional, employees. I happily did business with Kittles across the street and had a great experience. I have a couch delivered within days and also received a hand written thank you note from the sales associate. You guys could really learn from them! To the Room Place management: I have urged my family and friends NOT to do business at your stores. I will continue to spread my complaints through social media and the BBB. I refuse to do business with an establishment that lies to their customers.

I thought the show room was very eye catching. My eyes were drawn in every direction wanting to check out things i wasn’t even there to look at! However, i came in to look for a king bedframe. As soon as i walked through the door a person was there to greet me and ask how can he help. I informed him of my reason for coming in and that i was browsing for right now. He gave me space but as soon as he could tell i was interested in something he was right there. In a matter of 30 seconds he was already trying to get me financed for that product. After i told him my boyfriend and i were looking he asked me if i could call him, send him pictures so we could get this started right away. I informed the gentleman that i needed him here with me, and that i was only out browsing so when we would return i would have in mind what i liked. The gentleman gave me a business card and as i proceeded to leave, asked that i make sure i come in before a specific time that day. I just very very rushed, the salesman was very quick to sell. I didn’t feel like i was able to really look around and get a feel for what i would like in my home. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and answered any of my questions. Had i had my boyfriend with me and we were interested we may have looked into their financing options. For right now however i want to be able to go to a store where i have the freedom to look around.

I’m still waiting on a delivery from 12/31/2011. They told me delivery was an average of 2 weeks with a possible max of 6. Its been 4 months since the order date. I received half of my order 1÷18÷2012. Its been 3 months now that i’m missing the middle portion of my sectional. I could never fathom that it could take this much time, especially without notice. It states they have a «state of the art» distribution in the description below. 4 month delivery wait is not state of the art. Everytime i make a physical appearance at the store, i’m given a different story and different date. Jamieson Gaskins, the manager, has been very professional but can’t put me in touch with someone who can either give me a delivery date or just say its not coming. If you are looking for headaches, excuses, and no furniture. This is your store!
