I enjoy coming to this store and discovering new teas. The staff are always very helpful and knowledgable. They have all sorts of tea supplies and fun gifts. I like the experience at this location every time I have visited.

Free samples brought me in. Friendly service and the knowledgeable staff will keep me going back. This weekend I was suffering from the same nasty cold that everyone else has been complaining about. My glands were swollen and my throat sore when out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone with tea samples as I went up the escalator to our movie. I turned around and scoped it out, enjoying several samples of soothing tea. The best by far was the combination of the Maharaja Chai Oolong and the Samurai Chai Mate sweetened with rock sugar. When I asked if I could get a large cup to go, I was quickly told they specialize in loose leaf tea, but they could blend it for me. It was certainly good enough(in my condition) to be drawn in. I figured it would be less expensive to buy the tea than to buy one cup to go, and I ended up with a scoop of each that totalled $ 23. They DID steep a cup for me to take out of the tea I bought, but not without trying to also sell me on the canisters and the rock sugar. Had I been on heavier cold meds, I might have fallen for their pitch. The throat is feeling much better. The wallet, much lighter.

I have been here numerous times. The tea is quite good. However, the first area where Teavana in Keystone falls short is service. When you pay $ 80/pound you should expect great service and this isn’t the case. The morning shift will only give you tablespoon sips as samples and are often rude. On my last visit i asked the cashier to recharge my starbucks card and take the purchase off of that and he said ‘sure.’. After the transaction, he asked me, ‘oh, did you want to put money on your card?” When i reminded him what i originally requested he said, ‘oh sorry, but it is too late now.’ Additionally, some of the staff look more like they are going to a Rave then working at a gourmet tea shop. I going to look for on line alternatives to this.

As we’re coming down the escalators my husband said«Looks like your kind of place». Of course, I had to check out the beautiful tea sets that drew me to the store window. Then suddenly appears this smiling, friendly, knowledgeable, personable woman offering us a tea sample. Enticed by the tea sample, which I immediately feel in love with, I was under her spell. Mahariaja Chai Oolong Tea is my new tea love. Amazing tea selections, teapots or tea sets for yourself or gift giving. Stop in for a tea sample.

The free samples draw me in, the prices for loose tea send me back out. I find this to be a great place to pick up gifts for tea-lovers but I’m too much of a fru-gal to purchase tea for myself here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable!

I walk to the other side of the mall rather than walk by this store. My problem started with an order I placed at Christmas. Since the product was not in the store, they offered to ship it. I live in Indiana. They shipped it to Alabama. I did live at that address seven years ago. I tried phone calls and emails and filing a complaint with my credit card company. Teavana claims that since it was a valid address at one time and the people(names unknown) who live their now accepted the shipment, that they cannot replace it or refund my money. The tea is good, but if you want to spend money there use cash and don’t give them any information.

Really friendly staff, mellow, great tea. You have to REALLY appreciate good tea though to pay over $ 5 a cup for it.

Note: there is NO coffee to be had here, this is a tea shop — pure and simple. The Indy location of Teavana is so new that the store doesn’t even appear on the company’s official Web site yet. I actually went to the Fashion Mall to visit the new Nordstrom, but on exiting noted the Teavana shop. The manager actually greeted me as I entered by saying«Welcome home!» I discovered Teavana in Chicago a couple of years back and have been buying their teas every since. I don’t have a tremendous coffee habit, but I never let a day pass without some tea. This store has exquisite tea sets — some in ceramic, others in cast iron — and all the accessories one could possibly need to turn tea drinking into the ceremony it deserves. Having pined long enough for the dragonfly motif cast iron pot, I finally succumbed and bought it… along with pretty much all the accoutrements and 7 different types of tea. This kind of purchase will really set one back a bit, but it is an investment and these pots don’t get hidden away in the cupboard, they are works of art. Bonus: Teavana always has samples available and also allows you to «whiff» all the teas before you buy. Caveat: The staff is still getting the hang of things, so be patient — they’re all very nice souls.
