Went here today for the first time. The owners are so nice and friendly. I had a delicious sandwich with pesto and turkey and bacon. So good! Also loved the tea. I will definitely have to come back soon!

Love this little tea shop. The owners are really nice people. They opened this café several years ago in an up and coming neighborhood. It’s so awesome to see how they’ve thrived in this location and to watch how the neighborhood has grown up around them. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and it’s truly a neighborhood place. You see many of the same patrons every time you come in. They serve a decent lunch too. The soups and sandwiches I’ve tried are great and I’m hooked on the Tropical Cyclone green tea. Support family businesses… especially one like this!

My friend and I went to study. It is the perfect environment to study at. The chairs are comfortable but you won’t fall asleep and the table to chair ration is great for when you are typing one your laptop. The music is a nice soft jazz so it’s not to overwhelming and sometimes they have the fireplace in. I forgot what tea I had but it was pretty good. They were knowledgable about tea and provided great customer service. I recommend that you try their chili. I can’t wait for my next trip.

Seems like a nice enough place for a cup of tea but not really a place for gifts. Only merchandise for sale were a couple different flavors of tea. I tried to buy some but the only person working wasn’t able to run the cash register. The cash register person was at family dollar. I left with nothing but a wasted trip over my lunch hour.

So this was like a hidden gem! Calm, friendly, clean little tea shop that makes a fresh cuppa just for you. Coffee shops are everywhere and always crowded or uncomfortable. So, to find this tea shop was a delight. Pick a seat at a cozy couch by a fireplace, study table by the large front window, or if it’s a nice day a seat on the patio; all are perfect for a little reading. And if having a tailor made cup of tea still isn’t enough, they have a surprisingly wide selection of sandwiches, too. I will definitely be going back soon!

This is my consistent go to when I want to sip some tea while working in my laptop. The owners are in the shop frequently and take care to give personal attention to the customers and the details. Awesome

I absolutely love tea, so I was so happy to find this place! They have unique tea combinations, each served in an adorable individual tea pot. The vibe was great; Tea’s Me is quiet, with plenty of couches and chairs. It seems like a great place to study or work. Even at brunch time on a Saturday, it wasn’t noisy. However, I recommend against ordering the food. My sandwich and cake were both good, but it took a long time to arrive(especially when, besides my group, there were only two other people in the place). It was also a little pricey for my tastes. However, I would return to have a pot of delicious tea and a quiet, soothing place to do some work!

Love this spot! I’ve been meaning to check this place out, but the limited hours made it difficult to go any day other than Saturday. However, now that I’ve seen the setup, and see that they have free Wi-Fi and plenty of seating, I wouldn’t mind bringing my laptop and working from here once in a while! Plus, the owners are super friendly and the food is fantastic. They have a huge selection of tea, and a really impressive kitchen. I enjoyed every morsel, and can’t wait to go back again! I especially like that you receive a pot of tea, with a small candle beneath to keep it warm while you enjoy your stay. I brought a book and was there for four hours!

If you have not been to this hidden gem, your life is incomplete. From the minute I walked in, I fell in love. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are warm and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure that your expectations are not only met, but exceeded. I ordered lunch, tea, and a slice of chocolate cake, which they warmed up for me while I was waiting for my lunch. Not one thing there was bad. Not. One. Thing. I got the peppermint tea, which was steeped to perfection. The tomato treat sandwich was delicious, and the potato salad was even better. If you are a tea lover, or looking for a nice cozy spot, teas me café is your place. My first visit definitely won’t be my last!

What a perfect place to have our ladies’s group from church’s first Christmas tea! The atmosphere was so warm and cozy! Teas were delicious as were the sandwiches! Service was also friendly and efficient, especially with our larger than usual group descending upon the place! Definitely planning to return soon! This will make a great spot to sip warm tea and look out onto the first real snowfall while warm and cozy with the gas log fire inside!

Love, love, love this place. I’m a coffee fan, but tea has my heart. The owner and his wife are just the sweetest people. You can’t go wrong if you ask him to just mix something special up for you if you can’t decide on a tea. The sandwiches are so yummy. The bread is perfect and they use Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. The spinach salad(that dressing — OMG!) is the perfect addition. I usually take some tea and sugar cane syrup home.

Went here for lunch today and waited 45 minutes for two sandwiches, soup and two pieces of cake. After 40 minutes of waiting, I was informed that they were short-staffed. I can understand that, but there was no sense of urgency by anyone that worked there. For what I paid for my meal, I’m going to need you guys to step up the service, especially during lunch when you’re short on people. Seems like a place that appears to only open for lunch would know how to handle a crowd. When I informed the employee that we would have to take our orders to go, we were provided with gift cards for a free sandwich. That was after 35 minutes of waiting. It’s a shame that even with the offer of a free sandwich I have no desire to eat here again.

Let me start out by saying that Indy needs more tea rooms. As a non-coffee drinker it’s hard to find tea variety at the average coffee shop. Tea’s Me is really filling a great void and they do it with such pleasantry. I’ve had a few visits over the years, my most recent is this very moment as I write up my Unilocal review using their free wifi. Each time I am greeted warmly and instantly feel my day turning around because the staff here is all smiles. I really enjoy the outdoor patio on a nice day. The six outdoor tables are shaded with a fabric sail so I can skip the sunscreen. I’ve never been here with company and honestly I enjoy it this way. It’s a quiet spot to sip tea and check emails. I could see a group of ‘ladies that lunch’ stopping here as they begin a day of shopping on Mass Ave or a pack cyclists on their way to the Monon regrouping with a cold beverage. The food menu lists sandwiches and soups. My favorite is the chicken salad on a croissant. The chicken mixture is on the sweeter side, which I love. Today I ordered this with a turkey and rice soup. Sadly today there was no rice to be found, but I didn’t complain as there was a decent helping of chicken and celery. A small side salad of spinach and a balsamic vinaigrette rounded out my lunch plate. I really like the little details this place offers. Such as offering my iced almond tea in an insulated tumbler. As a slow sipper this is appreciated. Watered down tea isn’t my thing. The only reason this isn’t a five start review is because I feel the portion size of the food offerings could be a tad larger for the price.

Another local gem! The food is delicious. The house dressing they use for the side salad is yum-my! Now let’s get to the show stopper here… the tea! I mean the variety of loose leaf tea is exceptional. Loose leaf tea, not the dust you get in a store brought tea brands. The summer punch, strawberry, vanilla… I mean I could go on and on about the teas they offer. You just can go wrong. The liquid cane sugar makes you want to shun Splenda and any other artificial sweetener. It’s such a warm and inviting place. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and is wife is truly a sweetheart. My only complaint is that it can be a bit pricey especially for adding sugar to your drink. I know times are tough especially for a small business, so I will still gladly support when I can. Be aware that close fairly early and might need to call ahead if have a large party. Great place! Highly recommended!

What a gem! A warm, wonderful, and inviting local shop on 22nd Street that makes for the perfect lunchtime stop on a snowy day. I was greeted warmly by the owner and given a tour of both the food and tea menus before ordering. He directed me to a Kenyan black tea that was smooth and well balanced. This was served to the table in a wonderful tea press pot that was both fun to use and terrific for steeping the tea. Every bite of lunch was delicious! I had a chicken salad sandwich that may be the tastiest I have ever had. This consisted of very tender chicken in a slightly sweet mustard dressing that was light and flavorful. A marvelous mix of sweet and savory. The bread was freshly baked and perfectly toasted. I ate ‘Café style’ with half sandwich accompanied by a cup of homemade turkey and rice soup. Good to the last drop… I’ll be back to try other teas and the other menu items soon.

Hallelujah! I’ve found myself a tea pot! And by «tea pot» I mean, a perch from which to sit snuggled by the fire with my laptop and a glass teapot filled with four cups of brew over a precious tea light candle. Unsuspectingly located along 21st street, Tea’s Me is one of the few spots in Indy where you can nab a full pot of tea for your workday needs. The list of options ranks in the dozens. We opted for the peach green tea and it was DELICIOUS! I’ve already scheduled a slew of upcoming meetings with this tea in mind. Can’t wait for my second rendezvous. One more time in case if you missed it the first —- they have a fireplace!!! Drawbacks: **Wish the hours were longer(open from 10 — 3 p.m.) **I know they were super busy but it seems that my lunch order got lost in the shuffle and ended up taking too long for me to dine in. The graciously apologized and packed it up for me to go. Food: delicious potato salad. Lunch combos can be purchased for $ 7.95 –sandwich, salad, side. I opted for the mozzarella and tomato/pesto sammie

The raspberry champagne tea is the perfect afternoon sip, and what’s great about Tea’s me is that it has a cup of tea for anyone… and I mean, everyone! So many I can hardly decide which one to choose! The staff is so so so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about their product and are really there to help make sure that you have just what you’re looking for. My only qualm is their hours. Wish it was open past 3 pm, but when I get out of class early or have time before, it is definitely a must-stop!

For tea, this place is to die for. The jasmine oolong is an every-occasion tea. For food, this place is incredibly, and surprisingly lackluster. The salads lack variety and the sandwiches look like something you packed in your elementary school lunch. For a beverage and a quiet conversation, spend an hour at Tea’s Me.

New Favorite Place! Love this place so very much, and love that it is nestled perfectly around the corner from my office. $ 6 gets you a 4-cup pot of hand-brewed tea — steeped to order — and so many selections! THe food is really great, but a little more pricey than I want to pay for soup and salad. Otherwise, friendly faces greet you and it’s perfect for a casual afternoon meeting.

I love this place. The food is kinda expensive, but the tea prices are a bargain. I figure it evens out. A sunny little storefront which lends itself to hanging around chatting with friends or reading while you sip your tea. Each pot is steeped to order… this isn’t aseptic boxes of tea like at some coffeehouses. The pot will come out sitting over a little candle so that it stays hot for you while time passes. I love the chai. They will ask you what kind of milk you would like in it, as well as how sweet you would like your tea. The owners seem very nice. There is parking behind the store, you just can’t really see it from the street. I feel really lucky to have a gem like this in my neighborhood.

I am so not surprised that this place has as many awesome reviews as they do! A former neighbor recommended that my husband and I check this place out a few years ago — when we were poor and wi-fi-less(they have free wi-fi) — and I wish I had taken his advice then. I’ve been missing out! I stopped in today and tried the orange-almond green tea and got it lightly sweetened(with their only sweetening option — pure cane sugar syrup!). It was amazing. Perfectly brewed. And the aroma. YUMMO-M-G. The tea selection is phenomenal. The staff were friendly and inviting, and were eager to help me find just the right tea. They had flavor combinations that I’d not seen before, so I’ll definitely be back soon to try some others! They have plenty of seating options — a small tea bar, cushioned couches, move-able tables. A great alternative to Starbucks for meet & greets and/or lunch with a friend. They serve lunch! And it looks good! Parking was tricky. Between the one-way streets and the limited street parking it may take a few tries to find the right spot. Just be patient. ;)
