This is my go to lunch spot when I’m in the office. I rarely sit down and have lunch inside, but today was different. Service was great and timely on my limited lunch break. Ordered the new tuna poke salad. Perfect lunch portion and was tasty. The beer list looked good for the day, but couldn’t imbibe due to going back to work. Typically I call and order to go Buffalo Breath Salad. Order it with MoFo hot! Bring the kids and enjoy a family friendly environment outside of work hours too.

I’m only giving three stars because the service was pretty dang slow when I was last at Scotty’s. It was 1:00 in the afternoon and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, so there was no reason for the waiter to come to the table a total of two times. The food that I ordered was very good though! I ordered the Buffalo Breath Chicken salad with mofo hot sauce! It was big enough for two meals!

Terrible service. Every. Damn. Time. Every time we come here the service is terrible. does no one know how to be a server? Tonight we came in a group of 6 people. We all got our food except my sister in law. We ate our food. She still didn’t have hers. We asked for it 3 times. She finally got her food 45 minutes later. WTF?! You have one job to do. Bring food to the table. Anyway. Drink specials are good. Food is tasty.

Yay! I’m a fan. There are big televisions everywhere. Decent prices on beer and a lot to choose from on the menu. The buffalo chicken sandwich never fails to satisfy. They have remodeled this location so it’s more open now. Don’t be deceived if the parking lot looks full, there is a lot of space in here for seating and I like the patio section.

Candis is an awesome server. We were 1st time out of state & she recommended the best food and the beer selection is amazing!

I really like Scotty’s! They’re, Farmivore pizza(only one I’ve tried), and loaded fries are all amazing! What I really go there for, though, is their wings. I loooooove me some Mo’Fo Hot! It’s one of the most unique sauces I’ve ever had on wings. What makes this place even more special, is that Scotty really cares to please his customers. He is so personally invested in providing a great experience. I can’t comment on the eat-in customer service, since I ordered online, but the girl I talked to on the phone before I ordered answered all of my questions and made great recommendations. I definitely recommend eating at Scotty’s!

The food was good, and it was a warm place to go on a cold winter day. The waitstaff was nice and prompt. They recommended the hash browns with cheese on top. This was not bad but nothing to write home about. However, I had the«Shewman Special» burger one time. I will give the Shewman a full 5 stars. This was an excellent burger. I loved the bacon and peanut butter combo. Sooo good! A note on the good service. My fiancée once ordered the hot chicken pieces. She ordered them very hot(against the server’s suggestions). After she tried some she promptly realized she should have listened to our server. Well, once he realized she didn’t like the chicken pieces he took them away and didn’t charge us for the plate. This is service you don’t come by often these days, and it was nice to see there was still good customer service out there. Keep up the good work!

The food and atmosphere around here is great! I love coming here on Friday nights and enjoying the appetizers! It’s a little pricey but great service definitely worth it!

Love love this place! So many favs! Traditional Wings(mofo mild, bbq, mofo mustard, sriracha honey), dill chips, quesadillas, Luke’s steak wrap, Pizza, spicy steak sandwich, and bbq ranch chicken salad. Oh and their ranch is amazing! Always have great customer service!

I don’t even want to give them one star. Second visit to the bar area and the bartenders are rude and really don’t care about the guest experience. I asked about«Signature Cocktails» and 2 servers had zero recommendations, I realize it is a brewhouse, so then don’t have«signature cocktails«we were not offered a menu so we left after a miserable mojito and a beer.

I have been a long time fan of Scotty’s! I’ve been visiting the 96th Street location since it was first opened, and have always enjoyed their unique food items, outstanding beer selection, and community involvement. We decided to pay them a visit for dinner on December 15th to celebrate my birthday month. I’ve had their appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, etc., and have always been very happy with my choice. On this visit, I opted for the Sriracha pork tacos, and they were outstanding! For my side, I asked for steamed broccoli, with the butter on the side and they were happy to oblige. I love that Scotty’s is so flexible and willing to accommodate. Scotty’s always seems to have a warm and inviting atmosphere — I feel happy as soon as I walk in the door. Incidentally, I hadn’t been there since they remodeled, and I love the new openness of the 96th Street location! Side note: Due to my unexpected work schedule, my husband and I found ourselves at Scotty’s on Christmas Eve. I must tell you, I wasn’t sure what to expect — because people were wanting to get home, etc. I was absolutely amazed — it was like I was visiting on any other day of the week! Same warm atmosphere, same great service… I was super impressed. We chatted with the manager on duty about this, and expressed our gratitude. I really liked Scotty’s before, but this particular experience kicked it up a notch in my book.

OK, the Spinach is amazing(5 stars). The burger I’d say is above average(3.5 stars). The roasted jalapeño poutine was terrible but edible(1.5 stars). Service could of been a lot better(2 stars). Had to grab plates and utensil from another table. Water got to empty before filling up. At the end 2 separate managers came by to see if everything was OK. Oh the kids play section was disgusting. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month.

we heard good things and we’re excited to stop in to Scottys. Our server greeted us and said we had the best server in the place and then proceeded to give us the places most average inattentive service. Hmmm. We ended up having to return one plate although the manager handled the situation well. most of the food temps were pretty off. Maybe it was an off night but nothing was worth returning for on our $ 60 bill

Came for Lions Seahawks on Monday Night Football. The place was less than half full. Everyone at the table ate wings, and drank beer. The food was great and the company even better. The service was absolutely terrible. We specifically told the waitress that checks would be separate for the night and she had to bring the checks 4 different times throughout the night. Nothing at all was split, all single orders, and the waitress still couldn’t handle it. I would not suggest returning with a group of more than 2.

This location was just remodeled(it’s actually not completely finished as there are no decorations up yet). There are a lot more(and much bigger TVs) than before. And an upgraded sound system to boot. The floor plan is much more open(so sightlines to the TVs are improved). I’m guessing there’s been a push to cater to the sports-watching crowd(which is cool with me).

Hm, maybe we were just here on an off-night. I did seat myself in the bar, which I found out was not protocol. But, I’ve been a server, in the dining room and bar, and even when customers seat themselves against your procedure, it’s still good service to approach and ask if they need menus. My friend and I waited around 5 minutes for any of the many servers who walked by us to greet us but none did. I approached the hosts, three of which were all leaned on the host stand chatting and seemed mildly miffed by my bothering them to ask for menus. Our server didn’t really try to be friendly. I had the mexican nachos, which were good but I was sad to see they had nacho cheese sauce along with real cheese. Their prices don’t really fit the level of service and food you get.

Scotty’s… you can’t really go wrong here. They have an expansive menu that everyone will appreciate. From traditional dishes to fun, quirky meals. The last time I visited Scotty’s, I was with a group from work and one of my cohorts has ciliac and can rarely find delicious, gluten-free offerings, but Scotty’s had an entire gluten-free menu that had just as many options as the lunch menu. It was really impressive! I’ve been to Scotty’s many times between two locations and I have yet to be disappointed. Good food, reasonable prices and you can almost guarantee needing a to-go box :)

«If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!» I was so excited to return to Scotty’s after a few months away from Indy only to find out much has changed. Why, why? I loved it the way it was. Remodeling the place is nice, so no issues there. But the subtle menu changes are confusing and disappointing. I ordered my fave burger with the peanut butter and jalapeños, along with the parmesan garlic fries. The menu looked the same as before. I did not expect any variances. I happily sipped my beer on special. Then – I bit into the fries, thinking they were the light, crispy and delicate flavored delicious fry from before, only to taste a chunk of garlic and soggy potato in garlic juice. It looked like the chopped garlic they have in jars at Kroger had been dumped, juice and all, on top of the fries. Disgusting. Tart, chewy, salty, overpowering with garlic… not the heavenly fries I had anticipated. Ack! I suddenly recalled the old fries being served in a crisp wax paper cone, in a lovely metal thing that makes them stand up… these were not they. What happened? The burger was still the same, thank goodness but now I will get the seasoned chips with a side of ranch and think fondly of the fries that were among the best ever… now sadly gone. I was happy to check in and get a 10% Unilocal discount.

I’ve been to several Scotty’s(the Purdue one, the downtown Indy one, and this one). They’re all pretty much the same, but I’m reviewing this one since this is the one I frequent the most. Scotty’s is a good, standard«American» style food restaurant. The burgers are probably the best part of their menu. They have a ton of options for making your own burger-meat, bun, condiments, cheese… So much! Their buffalo chicken is good too, although their mo’fo’(lol) sauce is a bit tooooooo hot. Every meal comes with a choice of a myriad of sides. The mac and cheese, while probably the unhealthiest option, is delicious. The sweet potato fries and waffle fries(esp. «Loaded» with sour cream, bacon, and nacho cheese). Scotty’s has a lot of drink options, although their mixed drinks are just OK. Stick with beer. The ambiance of Scotty’s is that of a nice, laid back sports bar. Kids are welcome here. TVs are within many tables’ viewing radiuses(radi?) Service is usually friendly and attentive. What can be good/bad is that Scotty’s changes their menu A LOT. Not drastically, but they do make a lot of menu changes which I find strange. Maybe to keep things different and not to bore repeat customers? Overall, Scotty’s has very good«upscale» bar food. My favorite burger joint in Indy for sure.
