Quality Nails on 86th St… HMMMM!!! I have been coming to Quality Nails for quite some time. The owner and the only employee of the company have become mean, rude and flat out disrespectful over time. The straw that broke the camel’s back was a few days ago Friday 02÷05÷16. I called earlier Friday to make an appointment to get one nail fixed and was told to come later that evening at 5:30. I arrived 10 minutes early. The owner asked if I could wait another 30 minutes till she finishes putting on this full set of nails on the current client that was in the chair.(Keep in mind when I walked in she was gluing on the nails). We all know a full set, with the entire process is another 30 – 45 min. I advised her I could not wait and that I called earlier to make an appointment and that I could I not wait due to my schedule later that evening. The owner expressed her dislike by saying to me that I showed up before my time and that she was«busy». I called the owner when I got in the car and expressed to her my dislike for her rude demeanor towards all because I could not wait and for showing up 10 minutes early.(Keep in mind many times in the past I have waited, and waited beyond my scheduled time). Can you believe that owner told me that she and the client-(whom I did not know) were discussing me when I left??? I will not repeat those words because they are negative and words have power. WHATWHODOESTHAT!!! I will tell you WHO? MESSY, UNPROFESSIONALPEOPLE! That was it for me. IF you are messy, miserable, mean. Then have at it. Below are the pros and cons. Pros: –She only takes appointments-Which is why I have been coming for quite some time! –She is good when it comes to nails. –She doesn’t care if you are running late. The problem with this is that this throws everyone off their schedule, especially if you are as busy as I am. I’m very timely, and so this has become an issue for me. –Good at arching eyebrows when she is using new wax. Cons: –She doesn’t like it if you show up early for your appointment. She will make sure to tell you about it. –She is and has always been the only worker. She will not get any help. –She doesn’t like it if you«back your car» into a parking place. She has got very upset with me, I mean why you are upset because I choose to back my car into a parking space for easy exiting. –She does not have updated equipment such as pedicure chair or current nail polishes. She has had the same color nail polishes for quite some time. –No gel nails, so don’t even ask. –Gossipy and Backbiting and talks about«unmarried» women and compares you to her other single/unmarried clientele. Until YOU put her in her place, she will keep at it. But will get an attitude if you refuse to tell her your business and then accuse of you having an attitude IF you refuse to say anything other than. I’m good, everything is fine, life is great etc. –Doesn’t like for you to use your credit card, prefer cash. It didn’t use to be like this. Some people do not carry cash. Time is of the essence and we all make appointments for a reason. I do understand that we are all human and run behind and get behind. However, this is no excuse for mistreatment, rudeness, or backbiting. I mean the last time I checked… I was paying you for a service. Not to be rude, talk about clients to other clients, get in my personal business etc. I’m paying you for a SERVICE. #Check yourself at your door! #I’m paying you for a service, respect other’s people time like you want your time respected! #3-M’s; Messy, Miserable, Mean
