I got this HandyMan come out to do an estimate to install a hood vent for my kitchen stove. He quoted me $ 850-​$ 1000 just for labor to do the job. I got another professional out to do it. And he did it for $ 400. Think before using them. Use them only for small jobs. They charge per 15min. after the 1st hour.

Great service! They were on time, the work was perfect, they cleaned up when they were finished and were very helpful. Would absolutely hire them again for any help needed around the home or business.

Used them 2 times. First was a 4.5 star and 2nd time was 0 stars so 2.25 average. There won’t be a third time. First guy (Sean) did a great job in 3 hours when I expected 4. He couldn’t paint the boards he replaced due to rain coming. Second time out they didn’t send sean as I requested and this «kid» painted and patched 2 small holes. Should have taken an hour and I got billed for 4.25. He had to come back to patch one he missed. Took yet another hour!!! Then he acted like he did me a favor for not charging a trip charge! I think over $ 400 for an hours worth of work was plenty!
I would recommend taking a chance on a local independent.

We used Rick to install a bathroom vanity yesterday. He did a perfect job and had to be creative to fit the vanity in the space. He had supplies in his truck when we had issues with fit to trim the vanity and the shelves. He also gave us some ideas on how to install other shelves. He was right on time and the work was impeccable. They squeezed me into the schedule and called when on the way. I’ll be calling again for sure!

James Furrer is the owner of Mr Handyman Indianapolis and promptly took care of my request for a quote for some issues with a house I’m buying.
Prices were very reasonable.
He is on the ball! Every time I see his name I keep thinking of Hitler though lol.
