It’s basically like a local Walmart supercenter. Good selection of items, and I was delighted to see 20% tags on items I was planning to get at the local Walmart. Good deal.

I love this store! I know where everything is, most employees are really friendly and helpful, and the store is typically really clean. Mperks are easy to use and have helped save me a quite a bit of money.

This Meijer is closest to our home so we tend to come here more often. The pharmacy has a convenient drive thru although sometimes awkward to get into. Store is usually clean & stockers are mindful of where they place pallets so as not to be in customer way. My fave time to come is before 10 am because that is when staff marks down the close dated fresh foods in bakery, produce and deli areas.

Be sure to say hello to Arthur. He is the best door greeter in the world. He always says in a loud voice…“Hi! Welcome to Meijer!” and on the way out…“Thank you for shopping Meijer, we appreciate your business and hurry back!” I shop here for most of my food and supplies. I love the Mperks program. You have to be careful because it can temp you into spending too much. There is always a good spot to park. This store tends to keep the shelves full a bit more than the Southport Rd location. On busy days they usually have more lanes open than Walmart even has in their store. The selection and price is always good. The beef prices are high unless it is on sale but I think that is the case everywhere now. The milk is always fresh and the store is never dirty. The international aisle is my favorite. They have a good selection of Asian and Mexican items. About as good as a supermarket can get.

Meijer has one of the best selections of produce in the city, for a chain. Each Meijer we’ve perused has good qualities: — Produce — Quality meats — Specialty bakery items The deli is lacking in some respects, here, but we prefer items not to be found here. Meijer does a very good job in supplying middle of the road deli items. Obviously they offer more than groceries. We like the stores’ location, it’s layout and the helpful staff. 5 stars for the pharmacy staff. If we have a tough question, they will always find the answer.

I am partial to the Southport Meijer. This one is like the mirror image of Southport. I was looking for cottage cheese on the left and there it was on the right side of the aisle, spooky. The produce was a little less appealing than what I am used to, but still better than other big name grocery stores. I will probably not drive to this particular Meijer again even though it may be closer to my home by 1 mile. The one thing this Meijer has going for it is the endless supply of quality people watching. The whole time we were checking out I had a front row seat to a woman in small sweatpants(should have been at least an XL) with«PINK» on the butt and a sequined tank top argue with a manager about her expired coupons, while her friend with a few missing side teeth added, «mmmhhhmmm» at key points in the argument. Groceries and a show!

I live in Cumberland & it is really quiet out here. I will have to say that I have been sleeping on the Meijers here though. I kind of got forced into going here. Walmart nor Kroger is no longer open 24 hours, so I shopped here because it was the only thing open. This means a lot for a single mother such as myself. It’s getting harder for me to get out much in the day, I don’t have much energy. So night shopping has been a frequent routine for me in my current state. The perks of coming here is that I almost always get a coupon for money off of my next purchase. Unlike Walmart & Kroger I am always able to find a close parking spot. Which is always a plus! Kudos for Meijers, I also love their large selection of organic foods. I am always impressed with there produce. As for their meat I feel like it can this area. The milk is delicious! I’m serious I usually buy organic milk, however I will make an exception for them. Last but not least my favorite product is their peppermint ice cream. This one should win the award winning taste test! Overall I checked out with $ 55 in total, but walked away only paying $ 35. You cannot say that an extra $ 20 in coupons from my previous order did not come in hand. Got to thank Hendrik Meijers for this grocery store chain. This was a quick pantry filler stop for me. My larger orders have paid off tonight. Thanks & I will come again!

I buy a lot of my groceries here. Things I like about it: — It isn’t Walmart — It’s close to my house — Nice selection of fake-meat products — Decent beer/wine selection — Decent produce selection — Discount cheeses are often available and marked with happy red discount stickers

Ah the Cumberland Meijer. Well, it’s a Meijer so it has pretty much everything you would need at decent prices. Their beer. wine and vegetable selection as improved over the years. I recommend not going directly after work as this seems to be when every person in the world goes shopping. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of(when washington st isn’t under construction). Beware of seniors day as they like to walk 3 wide at .0002 mph. Self checkout isle #7 is slow as dirt so avoid it if you can.
