My favorite bar, you can do whatever you want in there and the bartenders are super cool. Beers are only two bucks everyday!

My friends and I stop by just about every Thursday evening after work to grab a few drinks. Good drink specials and nice staff. Not much more you can ask for if you want a chill place to meet people and have a few beers.

It’s a dark hole in the wall right across from the city county building and if you can find it it’ll be your favorite place for after work drinks. Always a drink special, good bar food selection and everyone is friendly. Nick and Stephen are brothers who run the place now and make everyone feel right at home. Most of the other reviews on here are old… so I have to suggest everyone give it a try!

I’m kind of surprised that some people seemed to have a terrible time here according to other reviews, but maybe it’s just because I have a good time everywhere I go. Well anyway, some of my friends told me to come here and surprisingly this place was down the street and I have never heard of it. It’s not usually the type of establishment I find myself at, but I loved it because it was so quaint and intimate. The lighting was sexy, the upstairs table for beer pong is a nice additive to a bar, and the bartender that night was so friendly! One of my friends I met there, I hadn’t seen in a long time and I ended up developing a little crush on him surprisingly that night. I was telling my other friends about it and it was apparently totally ok for me to have one on him. I got a double gin and tonic, whiskey and coke and a vodka redbull to give me a little liquid courage to ask my friend out on a date. He said yes! So, if this does pan out, I have to give a shoutout to this bar! The only issue I have with it is that it’s kind of small and I’m built like a football player, but that’s not necessarily the bar’s fault. I think maybe some marketing game can pick up a bit so more people would know about it, because it is a little hidden gem.

Fantastic chili and grilled cheese! We came for the $ 2 Coors before the pacers game. Good pub environment; the staff are friendly and gave us great recommendations. There was a Jose Cuervo promo going on so we got free shots!

This is a hidden gem. It’s across the street from the City-County Building. The service is great and the prices are reasonable! The people here really work to please their customers. It’s super homey. $ 2.50 fat tire… you can’t beat that! I got loaded fries! Yum! Next time I’m gonna get the stromboli. The only problem is that it’s a bit small. I felt a little claustrophobic.

This place looked like it would be a total craphole, but it’s actually okay. It’s cleaner and nicer inside than I expected, and the bartender was very friendly. You’re not going to find the greatest beer selection in the world, and they were out of Guinness when I stopped by, but at least you can drink for cheap.

Definitely not my type of establishment. We were really hoping for a hole in the wall close to home we can hang out at more often. So hours posted online say they are open til 3am every day but Sunday. Definitely not the case. We tried a few times before finally finding a time they were open. My husband bought a certificate for us to try something new and it wasn’t too far from the house. Don’t order the margarita. They don’t have margarita mix. Don’t order rum and coke. They give ya something intolerable definitely not like anything I’ve tasted before. The blue moons don’t come with an orange here nor topped off. :(we should have known when we walked through the first set of doors and it was so dark we didn’t know if we had walked into a closed business or a haunted house. Then signs everywhere stating they don’t accept any coupons. We asked about it and they said it’s under new management and they don’t accept any discounts anymore. We stayed anyways because we payed for parking and we wanted to give it a chance. The atmosphere could be cool and it’s a nice set up with a good amount of tvs. Waitress was nice. Food menu is very basic with about 5 items only — fish and chips and burgers. Drinks suck and I will never come back but give it a try it seems to be some people’s thang???

Weird with a capital ‘W’. My friend and I had an hour to kill before an event and for some reason I had mistaken this place for being O’Reilley’s…until I quickly realized it wasn’t. #4 and #5 — –by entering we were officially only the 4th and 5th customers in the entire establishment at 10 p.m. on a Saturday night. There was an eery feeling in the air that I couldn’t seem to get off my back until the comical bartender, Neal, lightened the mood. I’m sure it doesn’t help that the Legal Beagle’s location is so far off the beaten path and that their main audience is City County workers on lunch break from across the street. I give 5 stars specifically to Neal. He was really making do with his humbling surroundings/situation. It seemed to take him a few moments to adjust to human contact once we there. Fortunately, for both of us, we are not known for being timid. After a little fumbling to find the ingredients for a Long Island, Neal made up for it by providing us with an alternative option. I strongly feel that there is a lot of potential for this place to blossom into the straight-outta-Dublin-style pub that it resembles on the interior. But based on my fellow Unilocaler’s reviews, I’m not too confident that my optimistic vision will come to fruition in the end. Good news is: the«intimate» nature of the bar led to us meeting a new friend. I suppose all is well in the world after all.

I got a groupon this summer in July. It was for a meal for two people, and appetizer and two beers. We went in a few months ago and tried to use it… The guy working said they were under new ownership and could not do the groupon that day, but come back at a later time and they would honor it.(He said they did not have an extensive menu put together yet, and they would have one at a later date…) So, the groupon expires January 21 and we head downtown to use it and find that it is closed on a Sunday at 12:30!!! And on the doorway there was two signs that said they do not honor groupons or living social. They are not honoring anything from the previous owners.

A guy and a girl walk into a bar… I love small dark bars with a lot of wood and this had all of that so I was expecting to like it better. Let me set the scene: –There were only two of us, a husband and wife –We sat at the bar –There were two other guys in the whole place –It was 2PM on a Thursday Was it really necessary to ask for a card and run it for an authorization before letting us run a tab? Not in my opinion. Now, that would not be a big deal if I had not checked my account later and found a pending charge for the authorization AND a pending charge for our final bill. Now I have to keep an eye out and make sure the authorization charge drops off. That’s just kind of a PITA that wasn’t needed. I’m not making an argument for profiling, but I really don’t think we looked like a couple of thieves. The drinks were strong and reasonably priced at $ 3.50 for well booze. The kitchen is apparently open whenever they feel like it. I’ve heard that complaint from others. We were told it was closed until 4PM but I saw the owner or manager bring out some grub for a liquor rep. We weren’t looking to eat so it wasn’t a biggie, just a little odd. It seems that a downtown bar right across the street from the City County Building would serve lunch. You can pick up a certificate on so it might be worth it for the discounted price, if the kitchen is actually open when you visit. Check out the cool fans above you.

Partied here on Sat 10⁄23 and had a blast. The bartender was awesome and the customers were a lot of fun.

I could have sworn that at some point there was pool table here and that I won $ 40 betting an obnoxious guy that he couldn’t sink the 8 ball. No doubt one day in the far future I’ll ask the bartender, «Wasn’t this a law office for a quick minute?» and receive an «Are you drunk?» for my trouble. However, it is a present fact that Legal Beagle has reopened as a divey bar with a sometimes cooking kitchen. Nothing fancy here, but the top shelf, non-happy hour drinks are the cheapest I’ve found in the downtown loop area.

A local bar located across from the City-County Building(CCB Delware Entrance). It’s a bar that allows smoking. It’s not unsual to see attorneys, judges, and local politicos eating lunch and enjoying a cigarette. The atmosphere is more akin to a dive bar than a pub. Everything looks cheap. The food is ok for the most part, but some of the soups are great.
