I had the time of my life celebrating with friends at the launch of Jacks Von Liria lipstick line at Domu Salon 2−12−15. It was great to see an artist at work as he applied make up to party goers and gave helpful hints and suggestions when asked about his new lipstick line. Although it was very busy with lots of people, he took his time, not just with me, but with the others who asked for his advice. I had make up applied by one of his artists, a massage, and fun photo ops with his beautiful down to earth models. If you haven’t heard of or tried his lipstick line, you MUST. His lipstick line is AMAZING! He put so much thought into, not only the colors and design, but also into the application and how the products feels once it is worn. I purchased two of his lip colors, Micro Tangerine and Microblaze, both sensational colors. I’ve never had a lipstick feel so good to put on, stay on, hold its color, and make my lips look like the models in his pictures. Normally, I’d apply lipbalm, then my lip color, then a gloss, but now with Jacks lipstick, I don’t have to do that. I simply apply and voila, I have perfect lips and perfect color that lasts. I can’t wait to see what other cosmetics Jacks comes out with. I’ll be first in line to purchase!!! Thanks Jacks and Domu Salon for making a girls night out something we’re still talking about.

I wanted to be a pretty girl, so I decided to get professional makeup to ring in the New Year. I was in Indianapolis for vacation and a friend recommended Jacks. For those who know me, you know that I DON’T WEAR MAKEUP. At all. I hate it. I gave up on makeup because no one ever has the right colors for my mocha choca lala yaya complexion. The only times I’ve had my face done was prom, a wedding, and a video shoot.
I watched Jacks do a couple gals while I sipped on champagne in his studio. He was able to hold a conversation as he applied lashes with a steady hand. As it got closer to my appointment, I was comfortable because he answered my questions as he worked, kept my appointment time (even with others before and after me), and had pictures of people he’d worked on… fantastic looking people. Jacks travels frequently to work on men and women everywhere. Now I know why.
By the time I got to his chair, he had the brushes clean, the lighting repositioned, and the colors to match my dress. I glanced at his counter and saw his name on the lipstick… he has his own line! He worked with the precision of a surgeon! I felt beautiful and was complimented all night. I didn’t want to take it off!
I’d seen his work before, but never anticipated that he could make ME look so. hot. (after all, this guy works on models). The makeup lasted all night– through dinner, dancing, and kisses. Even the lashes. those fantastic lashes! I can’t wait to sit in that chair again!

Jacks was the makeup artist for a wedding I styled in June. His work was flawless. His makeup application on girls as young as 17, to women in their late 50’s was stunning. Everyone looked their best. I’ve recommended Jacks’ services for all brides.

Jacks has done my hair and makeup countless times. He never fails to make me beautiful. He has also done makeup and hair for two of my friends’ weddings. They, as well as their wedding parties, looked absolutely amazing. His prices are reasonable and he is very professional and efficient.
