Went for lunch today, place was maybe 1⁄3 occupied. Seemed to have 1 waitress per table, yet it took us roughly 10 minutes to be spoken to. After ordering, our food(mind you on a work day, for lunch) took almost an hour to get. This left us with 10 minutes to eat and cash out. Only reason for the 2-star instead of 1, was how apologetic and kind our waitress was. I’d hate to see the place actually busy… very poorly managed

How does the manager of the downtown Indianapolis Hooters deal with terrible bar service during the biggest event weekend in our lifetime? «If you don’t like it you can leave» What a great example of «customer service» Ashley, you need to go back to «charm school»… Hello Tilted Kilt!

Our large group came into this restaurant and took 3 different table. Two waitresses were responsible. Our waitress took 15 min to take all all the drink orders. After we finally placed food orders. After 25 min and twice asking for our food status we were informed two orders they were out of. One of the tables never received their food order after 1 hour. The place was far from packed as there were empty seats and this was in the middle of a convention that had been going on all week. Unless you plan to drink at the bar do not patronize this restaurant.

Understaffed… waited 45 mins for a cheese steak. Should have been better prepared for a convention.

Literally the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Pay 2.79 for a Coke and get one because our waitress returned one time. Once. Horrible

I love the updated menu! It was so hard to decide on a meal because everything looked so good, but I had the buffalo shrimp and curly fries and it was on point. Definitely going back soon to try the Tex Mex Nachos next!

Review visit: 04/18/2015 This has always been one of our favorite Hooters and we’ve visiting several from Florida to California. Last night we were there and we had Reese; she was awesome. She was slammed and they were working short, but she still made sure we had a good time. She had us so preoccupied and laughing that as we left we forgot to leave her the rest of the cash we meant to leave her. So Reese, don’t think we stiffed you on a better tip, you were literally just that good we forgot we had cash for you. So next time we got you even if you aren’t our server.

Good wings and scenery. Recently remodeled and a great bar! The Daytona wings are my favorite and of course always a great place for some drinks on a night out with the boys !!

Hooters was fun. The waitress were nice and the food was decent. I know Hooters has a negative connotation with some. It honestly did with me also and I am not fully on board but it was fun.

Horrible service. Waited forever for subpar boneless wings and a weak margarita. First and last time going there

Wow I used to not be a fan but they updated this place and revamped the menu. I hate breaded wings but the have added a naked grilled version along with new sauses. fantastic! Also my wife loves the new salad choices and fish tacos. My kid is in love with the Buffalo dip. Beer still cold and the place is loaded with tvs for game watching my Purdue boilers. This place is gonna give bws a run.

The food was as expected; descent and filling for a good price. Nothing spectacular there. However, the service was more than expected. I know they are working for tips and maybe I just got lucky, but the waitress who served me was exceptional. She was very friendly and actually talked with me in a normal conversation. She went above and beyond, in my opinion, and made up for anything lacking about the food. I went back three more times during my trip to Indy.

We are sitting outside to practice for a competition and the manager has come out twice to bring us water. They’re not even open yet. His kindness to our kids is so much appreciated.

Service was a bit slow to start for us and it wasn’t really that busy. But our waitress was friendly and the food was good. We came for just a couple appetizers and drinks. The beer cheese dip pretzels are awesome and of course you can’t go wrong with their traditional wings! We would come back here.

I genuinely set out to write a great review for this place for our visit today. We always come in on Wednesdays for their wingsday special. We called ahead today so that we had plenty of time to eat on lunch break because sometimes it takes awhile. Now kelly was an awesome bartender/waitress. She was friendly and attentive and went above and beyond. I was good with the whole experience until I watched two employees walk from behind the bar wearing flip flops. One was a trainer… This is how you’re training in a food establishment? Yes they were handling food and beverages. That’s so gross, I can’t believe this is being allowed to happen. See pic.

Well — it’s a Hooters so I shouldn’t be expecting much but my Bud Light in a larger glass that tasted like soap is where I draw the line. Waitress was almost annoyed that I asked for something different. No apologies — just a different drink shoved in my direction. Food was good but based on our service I won’t be back.

Came here after Comic Con because it was close by and wings sounded good. Not a great decision. We were sat at the bar(okay fine) but then had to shout at a bartender to get a menu because she didn’t even notice us sit down. We also had to hail down a bartender to order, which shouldn’t have been necessary. We got our drinks right away(yay!) but it took A WHOLEFUCKINGHOUR for our food to arrive(including the appetizer). They were busy, but that is NOT acceptable. Basically any time we needed anything, we had to shout at the servers to get their attention. We were hardly paid any mind by the servers. The food was good enough, but comparing the wings to other wings we’ve had, it wasn’t worth the wait. Needless to say, I’ll go back to a Hooters, but definitely not this one!

We were in town for the Indy-Pats game this weekend and needed a place to watch the 1:00 pm games. In deciding between Hooters and The Tilted Kit, we chose Hooters and proceeded in the front door. Awaiting us was approximately 7 Hooter girls chatting and doing whatever. After waiting about 30 seconds, I asked if it was self-sitting. One of the 8 looked up, grabbed 4 menus and said no. She lead us to a table by the window without a good view of the TVs. We asked if we could be close to some TVs and she picked up the menus and started watching into the center of the sitting area. After arriving at a table with better but not great TV viewing, we waited 5 minutes for a waitress. It was not crowded and remember the 8 plus girls not doing much up front. On minute 6 we left and went to The Kilt. Not heading back there any time soon… to any location.

Of all the great places one could go in Downtown Indianapolis, Hooters isn’t one of them. The mediocre food is somewhat overpriced; there are very few healthy options, and the drink menu is boring. For me, this really only leaves one other reason why anyone would visit Hooters: the girls. Hooters has attractive waitresses; everyone knows that, including me. However, I usually patronize restaurants for more substantial reasons other than ogling at the ladies. Whether the girls are attractive or not, they have always delivered an appropriate level of service when I dine at Hooters – this location included. I have no complaints about my experiences at this restaurant: I got what I ordered with a smile. This location of Hooters is very convenient to the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. If you’re in town for a convention or are recovering from Colts game – going to Hooters is a viable option. Just remember that better places exist in the vicinity.

I grew up visiting Hooters at an age where I probably didn’t even know what hooters were — with that in mind, I can(un)proudly say I’ve visited my fair share of these delightfully tacky, yet unrefined businesses around the country. Last night, four cocktails in, yet sober enough to know better, I insisted that we pop our heads in to Hooters for some wings. Yep, nothing’s changed. This place was far from hopping on a Friday night — we were probably one of four or five tables in the whole place. Service on this particular visit was much better than I’ve had in the past(horrible). I’m starting to think this is a business that once had its hot time in the spotlight but is now on the downward spiral? But, that could just be the opinion of a female in the urban setting? Sometimes you can’t help but want some greasy eats — however, in this case, it seems that Hooters prides itself in the puddle of grease found under their wings. Paper towel, paper towel and more paper towel. Quoting my friend regarding the outfits and Hooters’ casual let-me-sit-here-with-you-while-I-take-your-order approach: «The goal is to get every guy in this place thinking the waitress wants to have sex with them» based on their casual flirty tactics. Poor clueless men. Note to self: don’t let four cocktails lead you astray…
