Greek’s Pizzeria

this is a great place to have a super pizza. When our son returned from overseas, he discovered this eatery, and my husband and I have gone there ever since. A young man always waits on us, don’t know his name, but he is very kind, and if he has time, talks to us about movies, and can’t be any friendlier. The pizza and sandwiches are great, and we’ve owned restaurants and are very picky, takes me back to the 60s when Napoli in Beech Grove was fresh prepared. Last weekend, my cousin who lives in Avon, and can’t get out wanted my sister, mom and I to get him pizza and pasta, and we stayed and had the special BBQ Chix on our pizza and sticks, it was so pretty, I should’ve taken a picture. Service as always great and prompt. This is our Special Place to grab a bite of good food.

Really disappointed with this location. The pizza is different from other locations, in a very bad way.
I have eaten at the Zionsville and the Westfield locations of Greeks Pizza and always had delicious pizza and breadsticks smothered in butter. That was NOT the case with the Southport location. It’s barely mediocre for pizza and awful for Greeks. I would be ashamed to put out an order like I received tonight. (Pics to follow) First, my crust on the pizza AND breadsticks are obviously over-​cooked and bordering on burnt. To me, they are burnt but I’m trying to stay objective because my preference is just done. Where is my butter for my breadsticks? These breadsticks are almost as dry as Noble Romans! (I love Noble Romans breadsticks, don’t get me wrong but I wasn’t in a Noble Romans type of mood or I would have gotten Noble Romans.) The next thing that is awful is the sauce. I’m a huge sauce lover! You can put pizza toppings on any ol’ pie, it’s the crust and the sauce that make the pizza IMO. The sauce on this pizza tastes like there was an enormous amount of sugar in it. My stomach hurt after 1 slice and I’m throwing the rest away. The birds will get the burnt breadsticks.
I’m really sad that the Southside Greeks is no where near the quality and taste of their Northside counter parts. Maybe they were having an off night? I don’t know. I might try them again but it won’t be anytime soon. They need to get their stuff together.
I gave them two stars because the service was pretty fast (but it could have been faster if they didn’t over cook the pizza) and we had a really nice delivery guy.
Oh and one other thing, they ask you if you want to tip before the pizza is delivered? I don’t tip the same for every delivery. It depends on if my pizza arrives on time. I mean… I didn’t have to tip before but I was kind of put on the spot. I don’t know… just kind of weird.

Bad service. Was served to go never asked for togo, as I was waiting on a friend at the hospital, and they gave me no plastic ware, had to ask a second time for the drink i ordered. Had a hair stuck to the inside of the togo lid was told that it was the condensation. Yea no it was a black curly hair. There was also a guy coughing behind the counter not even trying to cover his mouth. Thanks for wasting my time.

This place has the WORST customer service I have EVER received! I was told I’d be reimbursed for a late/​missing delivery order, but it has yet to happen and it’s been almost two weeks! I have called twice to check on the status and each time I’ve been told the «owner» knows about the situation and the «owner» is the only one who can do ANYTHING about it! Fun fact: the «owner» is never there! Tell me how he’s going to resolve my situation then?
I asked how I could contact the owner directly and was told there’s no way to do it!
To top it ALLLL off, I just called to check on whether or not I was being reimbursed, and the rude and unprofessional manager said, and I quote, «Whatever, ma’am» and HUNG UP. Can you believe that?! My jaw dropped to the floor! Incredible! No wonder all the low reviews on here are about the customer service… because there is NONE! Don’t get me wrong, the reviews talking about how great the food is are completely accurate. You just better hope there’s not a single thing wrong with your order because they sure as hell aren’t going to do anything about it!

Pizza was delicious! Delivery was speedy and our delivery was handled with complete professionalism and a smile! We will DEFINITELY be ordering from Greeks again… soon!!! :)

Staying in SE Indy for a wedding. Long day of travel, beat and hungry. Fired up Unilocal and found Greek’s. Ordered large pepperoni and bread sticks. Got here quick and hot. Breadsticks were great as was marinara. Pizza was really good. Slightly sweet sauce and not greasy. Happy to order again, should the occasion arise.

I went here for a meeting days before I came back to actually try the food. During my meeting I didn’t have anything because I had eaten already. But that aroma stayed with me everyday until I came back. I think one of the other reviewers said it smelled like «Pizza Heaven» I couldn’t agree more. Needless to say my sense of smell did not disappoint me. Price– Good /​Pizza– Great /​Service– Excellent… You’ve gotta try this place!

while the food is good (though greasy… it is pizza, I guess). The website has contradictory hours depending upon which location you contact (I suppose franchisees, etc). And the employees are RUDE. I was told, when I contacted a location after THEIR closing hours…“check the time on our door. We’re closed.“
Yet another pizza place to which I bid farewell because the people they hire are rude to customers.

Been there a few times, food is good but the last time we went the place was slow so we though hmmm good service WRONG. Our server took awhile to come to our table the. We sat and watched her and some guy making out behind the counter and rubbing all over each other. Then once our food came out she didn’t come back till she brought us the bill. Probably because she and the rest of the staff kitchen included were behind the counter bitching every time someone came in. «are you serious right now go home» so yeah i won’t be going back.

When you walk into this place, just take a second to take in a nice big whiff of yummy pizza heaven. We ordered carry out off of a recommendation from a friend and I’m so glad we did. Delicious! A few things — there were a TON of kids in the dining room. If that’s not your scene, you may want to consider having it delivered or carry out. Also, the sauce is on the sweeter side. I loved it but may not be for everyone.

Nice little place off of emerson. Had pasta with vegetables. My only complaint was that it tasted like it had a little too much onion on it. Their bread sticks were delicious. I would recommend them to others

We like to eat here when we visit Indie. I love the Gourmet special: basically meatball, olive, onion and feta. Waiting for more to open around Chicago. The only one I found is in Crystal Lake.

This place continues to shoot itself in the foot every time we tried to order. Coupons are very rare, and usually not very good. Biggest problem is there is NO FLEXIBILITY. Customer always seems to be wrong. I guess the owner/​manager needs to prove his manhood??? Shame no one I know orders from here anymore because from what I remember the pizza was really good. Luckily, marco’s pizza opened right across the street!

The breadsticks, cheese dip, and marinara were delicious (great)! Pizza is good! Service is fair! Cleanliness good! Worth trying glad we came!

My family loves GREEKS! It’s our Friday night go-​to place. Good specials. Love the cinnamon twists. Comfy family place!

Went here for the first and last time today. I have had better frozen pizza than what my family was served here. Staff was unfriendly, inattentive, and unprofessional. To make matters worse we were the only ones in the restaurant. That should have been a clue to begin with. 1pm on a Sunday afternoon is usually a fairly busy time for most places. Bathrooms were unclean and stunk. S.C. The last reviewer mentions they have free delivery, they would have to pay me to deliver a pizza to my house.

I’m not a huge fan of pizzas but when I get a craving for some, I must have it at any cost! We’ve been getting their coupons in the mail and often see their signs offering free delivery. Well I had a pizza craving today so I decide to call in for a carry out. Now I did not eat any breakfast this morning and have not had any lunch yet. It was 2pm and I was starving, I ordered a small supreme and some buffalo wings. After seeing all these good reviews on Unilocal,I thought for sure this was going to be a great meal.
Upon opening the pizza box, I found the pizza to be piled with layers of pepperoni, a good sign that they don’t skimp on the toppings. There was so much pepperoni that I could not see any other toppings, I dissected the pizza for a bit and discovered the mushroom were very canned like. There were barely any sausages or vegetables, there were just a lot of pepperoni (not the homemade kind). There was very little cheese as well. The pizza sauce was sweet and did not taste very tomato-​y. The taste of the pizza was not the best but it wasn’t the worst, however I have had better from chain pizza place.
After eating a couple slices of pizzas I went for the wings. I know you can’t expect good wings from pizzas place but these wings were worst than Pizza Hut’s. They tasted like wings from frozen aisle at Walmart. They were pretty big size wings but it was definitely frozen. Again I have had better wings from other pizza chain.
I just expected this place to be better than a chain pizza place and I was disappointed. I will continue my hunt for some good pizzas on the south-​side.

Great pizza. I have never been to this location. Could not find the Broadripple location to review. So so so happy they reopened. Ate there tonight wonderful service, wonderful pizza. Thanks for reopening in B-​ripple.

Love the pizza BUT I ordered my pizza and 60 min later it still hadn’t shown up. I called back and they hadn’t started the order yet because «they couldn’t find my address» … «did I still want them to send one out??» um yes, I’m starving!

Best pizza in town. The breadsticks are coated in garlic & dripping in butter. Try the chicken ranch pizza, it has no sauce and is a change from «typical» pizza. Great prices & deals every day.
