I’ve really tried to like this place. I don’t see anything great about it. You can get unlimited toppings on your burger and either get a small or a regular burger. It’s unseasoned, dry, the cheese isn’t melted… I don’t understand why people like this place so much. It’s bland food. The fries aren’t even as good as they used to be. I would rather go to Boogie Burger and spend 9 or 10.00 on a burger that I know is going to be delicious than 6.00 for a small burger with no flavor. I, honestly have nothing positive to say about their food and I’ve tried my best to like it but I can’t. I’m sorry.

Pretty good food. Burgers remind me of Steak ‘n Shake. Very pricey. Paid 30 dollars for two people.

Came in at 2 pm and there were 4 people in the restaurant and we had to take our food to go because every single table and seat was covered in old food and grease. It was disgusting. But the food is good and the employees greeted us when we came in. I’ll give it another try but I feel like that’s totally unacceptable to have every table dirty when there’s hardly anyone in the restaurant.

Went with a friend to stop and get him something to eat. Originally I was planning on eating elsewhere because I’m not currently eating meat. But when u cane in I wasn’t pleasantly surprised to see that there was a veggie sandwich option. So I decided to check it out. And boy was I pleased! The veggie sandwich was soooooo delicious. Mushrooms, grilled onions & cheese all cooked perfectly together to make a delightful sandwich. I’ll def be returning.

I love this place let me start my review with that! I think the food is a little bit overpriced but you can get your burger however you want it! Grilled onions raw onions mushrooms anything you want they have! But honestly you can just get a order of fries and share with two or three people. But when I’m craving a big greasy burger this place definitely hits the spot!

After a 2 year self-imposed«burger and fries hiatus», I returned to Five Guys again … And MAN have I missed this place! All of the things in my previous review still ring true — the amazing burgers, fresh toppings, and my FAVORITE hand-cut fries are all still top notch. However, our visit today also made me notice something about this location. It is SO clean and the people are SO friendly. The gentleman taking our order was the sweetest and even came out to visit us mid-meal to ensure everything was great. When we complimented the fries(they were absolutely perfect and on point today), he ensured we got a few more fresh ones to enjoy. When he mentioned«I have my best guy on fries today», he wasn’t kidding! So yes. It’s a chain. Suck it up and just give it a try. $ 15 to fill the hubs and me both up for the day is a bargain. I wuvs you, Five Guys!

Very good food, but the service at this location is lacking compared to others. I have been here a few times and this spot seems to have a lot of problems with getting the orders correct in my experience. I have gotten ketchup on my burger twice now without ordering, even after explaining that I can NOT have ketchup the second time. As such, I rarely visit this location as I don’t want to have to waste more time getting my order remade.

I just caught myself slipping. I did not take a picture of that huge and delightful cheeseburger that I ordered. Five Guys is on the top of my list for best cheeseburgers in Indy. My burger came piping hot(of course because they are cooked to order) and it was full of the ingredients I ordered. I would suggest getting tomato on the side if you like your burger to retain all sense of PipingHotness. The tomatoes are pretty fresh and cold so it creates a cross contamination of hot’n’cold feels for the tastebuds. I took mine off and sprinkled pepper & salt on them. You could say I turned them into a side. Beyond that, our burgers were GREAT ! I like Five Guys because not only do they cook to order and serve you a huge bag of freshly cut and well seasoned fries, but they do it quick enough for you not to have to sit at the table and eat peanuts(unless you want to) in order to refrain from arguing with your stomach growls. Hot, cheesy burgers — how can this go wrong??? Many places do. I have gone to places with ingredients that TASTE like they were flown in from a NY Sewer system. I’ve also had burgers served with cheese that wasn’t even half melted. But Five Guys gets right all the time. If the cheese is not melted on your burger when you unfold that silver foil, just fold it back up and count to 15. …it will actually take care of itself(the way I assume other places think will happen w/their science burgers). NOCOMPLAINTS. Actually I take that back– My complaint is that I can’t eat burgers every single day. If I could, I would visit Five Guys at least once a week. But that isn’t feasible or healthy. But the next time I’m ready for a gooey cheesy burger with the perfect fixins’ and cooked fresh — Five Guys is where you just might find me. Look for me near the board with the crayons, posting a note about how awesome this place always is.

Five guys delivers a consistent product, large portions and free peanuts! Expect $ 7-$ 10 per person. Do NOT go here if you’re on a health kick. They have always had a friendly, knowlegeable staff that works quickly to prepare your food as soon as you order it… expect a 5 – 10 minute wait after ordering. I always arrive with these expectations and have never been disappointed. My favorite counter order burger in Indy!

The food is decent but the price doesn’t meet the food. $ 24 for 2 burgers, 1 fry, and 2 regular drinks. I guess they are paying for the free peanuts they have out. I don’t know. Have some extra cash burning a hole in your pocket and want a just ok burger then here is your place.

I had been to the Five Guy’s at Purdue several times before visiting this one, which I took my parent’s to for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was 2:00 pm on a Saturday, but the place was packed! We ordered our food and it was taking kind of a while, it was pretty obvious that something was going on because a lot of people were waiting. We ate some peanuts though and when our food finally came of course it was amazing! My parents loved it and said they would definitely go back. Before leaving, the cashier who had taken care of us, Jessica, came by our table. Apparently, the computer/printer for the orders wasn’t working, which is why the order was so delayed. She went to every table that was still there and had to wait on their food and got us each a milkshake! Of our own choice! I wasn’t mad about the delay at all because I work in service, but seeing her go through that effort and provide some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a while was just really great. If not for the food, I would go back simply because the service was so friendly and professional. Thanks, Jessica and crew! You really made our day!

I try not to be too pretentious with my food choices; I save my calories for when it counts, and most times I will turn down a chain… with the exception of Five Guys. I will never say no to a meal here. It’s cheap and tasty with just enough grease. All you have to do is give me a bed of their fries, and I’m a happy girl.

If you are looking for a healthy meal… well Five Guys isn’t the place for you. Their greasy, yummy burgers are filling, but can cause havoc on the waistline. You have to give a big thank you to Indiana for not requiring the listing of calories on these bad boys; which would surely cause a double take to some if they saw it. This Five Guys is on the larger side, and as always, has peanuts in bulk ready for consumption. For those of you with nut allergies beware if you are extremely sensitive. They do provide a heads up with a bright sign prior to entry. They also have the fancy coke machine that can make over a hundred different Coke combinations, so go ahead, and see what weird concoction that you can create. To some, Five guys might be an overpriced fast food hamburger franchise, but it’s not. You definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality and portions. And by portions, I mean big. Their regular is a double burger, you pick the toppings, and a small fry could feed a family of four at times, depending on how much they pour additionally into the bag. One of the best things going for Five Guys is that they can modify there burgers to be gluten free, think burger sans bun wrapped in lettuce similar to In-&-Outs protein style. Also, there fries are GF as well since they only cook fries in their fryers. The workers are pretty friendly and follow the allergy procedure as well. Yes it may take a bit longer, but they change their gloves and stuff to minimize cross contamination. Overall, Five Guys makes one good greasy burger.

I honestly believe this is the worst burger in town. My sack was absolutely DRIPPING with grease… dripping out of the bottom of the sack. Fries were cold. No thanks. Far better places to spend my money.

Forget about that restaurant chain with the clown — — - you know the McOne I mean!!! This place has them beat hands down. It is hard to beat a burger cooked to order, unless you prefer to eating micro wave warmed up cardboard. The burger was big & juicy, the plentiful pile of fries was more than we could eat. To top it all off, they had an energy dynamo who would not stop cleaning the tables and floor the entire time we ate there. I will be back!

A couple of weeks ago I was running around doing errands when I realized that I hadn’t eaten. A burger sounded good. I don’t usually do fast food but didn’t have time to go to my fav’s. So I decided to try somewhere new and was passing by 5 Guys. I wanted to taste the burger so ordered it rather plain – cheese onions, pickles, & no sauce. It was scrumptious! — I mean very tasty! Can’t say how much I enjoyed it. Why only 3 stars? That’s not like me. Well in the Hamburger Kingdom ‘very juicy’ means ‘very greasy’. Yes, I cook a lot and know that fat & bone means flavorful meat. –But what is the juice, if not grease? Taste buds loved it, stomach didn’t. Well if you can handle it, more power to you. I mean I’m jealous, because I could continue going here very often, I mean weekly! So can you eat one for me?

Quite possibly the greatest fast food, one-dollar-sign meal in town: the Five Guys cheeseburger with fries. Build it how you like — I prefer to get the 5 food groups in by adding lettuce and pickles and then selecting Mello Yello as my fruit from the awesome custom drink fountain at this location. The fries come in a greasy plain brown paper bag. That’s all you need to know.
