Been working a job next to here. Ate here 4 times outta 5 day week. Love it. People are so friendly. Couldn’t even find something to complain about if I tried.

Decided to stop in for lunch recently for the first time. I decided on the New York Steamer, my husband ordered the Steak and Cheese. Ordered a combo for my son, too, and didn’t realize kids meals were only $.99 on Sunday (score!). My sandwich was OK. Not exactly piled high, and not much to it. On the other hand, my husband’s was excellent, one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had. My son enjoyed his turkey sub as well. The bread was nice and soft. The drinks were good– I enjoyed both the signature Cherry Limeade and fresh brewed iced tea. The service was great and attentive. In all, a satisfying lunch for 3 at just under $ 20.

Love this place! Workers are very friendly and usually remember what my favorite order is. Bread and ingredients are always fresh. This particular firehouse subs seems to be a lot quicker in their service. Would recommend this place over any other sub shop!

We ate there for lunch today. I got the Italian Sub and my partner got the Meatball Sub. We got our order very quickly. The service was great. Thanks for a great experience.

I know folks that RAVE about Firehouse Subs. There’s not one really close to where I live, but a group of friends were meeting for dinner, so that gave me the perfect opportunity to try them.
From the one experience I had, I’m not quite sure what all the fuss is about. There was nothing outstanding about what I got, and the prices are a bit high for what you get. I would not go out of my way to have a meal here.

I’m a little torn on the rating for this restaurant. I’m not sure it rates a 3, but a 2 might be a little low.
On the plus side: It’s clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere makes it just «fun».
On the minus side: The sandwiches are just average, and the prices are high for what you get.
I would stop here again if I were with folks who wanted to eat here, but wouldn’t make a point to go on my own.

I love coming for lunch but it is quite pricey for a sandwich. I only come here on occasion but the food is always good and the workers are always nice. I would give more stars if they had lunch deals.

A bit pricey for your typical sandwich. I ordered the New York Steamer and paid for it online. When my co-​worker took the receipt to pick it up, they said they never received the order. Somehow only 3⁄5 orders went through, so there was a wait for two of the sandwiches to be made. But that’s not why the rating is low.
I just thought the sandwich was unimpressive and typical of what I could make at home. The wheat bread was really disappointing. It was hard and chewy. This sentiment resonated with all of my other colleagues who also ordered a sandwich on wheat. I can’t complain about the quality of meat; it was good. The veggies were fresh, but the Italian dressing was completely flavorless. I will most likely pass given the choice to eat here again.
