Love this place. Works like this. they do Weekly deliveries, you sign up for a fruit and/or produce bin, and they send it to you every week, with whatever is fresh. You can modify the bin by adding and removing items if there is something you don’t. You can also add stuff to your standing order, or to a single order, all online. They have the bins, loose produce, meat, eggs, milk, groceries, sauces and condiment, bulk stuff; almost everything the grocery store has, but better. I REALLY don’t like their web interface, they need to make it better and add a search function, but i’ll put up with if for the food. Ah, The FOOD! I hate going to the grocery store, and I love organic produce. I know it isn’t more nutritious or anything but most fruits taste better and it is much, much, much better for our lakes and rivers, and the gulf. local produce is great too, less petro in transport. Their produce DOSE go bad faster, because it it not irradiated, coated in wax, or picked super premature so It can ripened with ethylene gas(look it up), so eat the stuff that wont last as long first. Even doing that, my wife and I end up with perfectly ripe fruit still in our fridge when the next delivery comes. Occasionally you get some bum produce, but they have always fixed it when I have called. Still, there stuff is much better overall that the terrible produce that the Big Chain grocery stores try to pass off. There meats are the best, but they are frozen and I know that turns some people off. Still, a defrosted grass fed stake from Moody’s ordered from FFD is more delicious that any stake I have bought from local stores. Beef that has eaten grass like God intended, instead of being forced to eat only corn that causes stomach acidosis requiring constant antibiotics, is the best beef. Duroc Pig Bacon, a heritage breed that was created to be more flavorful and grow slowly rather than to get fat quickly, ISTHEBEST I HAVEEVERHAD. TRUE free range whole chickens and leg/breasts that eat BUGS and corn, not just corn, and that don’t live in an environment that is so unhealthy that lots of them die before slaughter. Great Eggs too!!! Check out the Meat/egg farm’s websites for more information on how they treat their animals and what breed they are, just google the farm’s name. This is the main reason I shop here, I care about how the animal lives, not that it dies. They also have crazy deals on bulk stuff and boxed/canned groceries. Haven’t quite gotten off the grocery stores yet cuz i can’t plan everything i’ll need for the weeks delivery, but I am eating much better now. The coolest part. They aren’t that expensive. $ 130 max for a weeks worth of good food for my wife and I! Average $ 80. I urge you to try it.

I recently became a customer of Farm Fresh Delivery and I absolutely LOVE it! The quality of the food has been phenomenal, pricing is extremely reasonable considering this is fresh, sustainable, organic and mostly local food and it’s delivered to my door! I love that I can do healthy grocery shopping online! It works great with my busy schedule and has the added benefit of the warm fuzzies that come with supporting a great local business. Have tried a few of the Local Folks Foods and Farm-to-Kitchen items so far have really liked everything. Fav thus far: Mushroom patties, Indiana tomato ketchup, Fire-Roasted Salsa & pasta sauce…

Initially I loved farm fresh, but after a few weeks of delivery the fruits would mold by the next day. I complained several times, by email and by phone. No response. So I cancelled my orders… no follow up. Great Idea, hopefully business will pick up and it really will be «farm fresh»
