Denny’s

Denny’s is Denny’s is Denny’s.
For the most part, for an establishment like this, you’re not looking for anything spectacular; but a quick, easy meal to satisfy your urge for delicious breakfast food. I really enjoy Denny’s but it had been a while since we had been.
The family and I went to this Denny’s after a new year’s eve service and it was good.
The service was nice. Our waitress was nice, recommended what is now my favorite tea: Lipton’s orange tea :) I do wish she was a little more knowledgable of what was on the menu (but she was new so I won’t be too picky).
So solid 3 stars for me.

So far, so good. We came in from a hiatus today. We live out west so don’t come to this location as often as we used to. Right now, they have a mix of music. We kind of just want Christmas music. Lol Plus, it’s on the LOUD side! Do you hear me?! Got husband and daughter singing Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer … As well as the kid on the other side of the room. Our waitress is extremely nice. Let me say, this remodel is awesome! Last time we came, it was still the old Denny’s. Very come in at 12:30 at age 90 for brunch. I love the new look. Beautiful ambiance. Just turn down the music a bit! I can’t hear myself type. LOL! We got in right away too, by the way.

What can I say? We were craving breakfast food and lousy service, So off to Denny’s we went. It was well after midnight when we arrived so we weren’t expecting anything stellar.
We arrived and were seated. The waitress that took our order identified herself right away as new. Must have been her very first shift. She took our order and with just a little bit of confusion off she went.
We should have known something was wrong when she came out and told us the cook made us regular hash browns instead of the loaded ones we asked for. Did we want him to remake them? She asked us. We informed her that we did because plain hash browns are worse than nothing at all.
So when she finally brought our food there were so many things wrong it was almost like she had someone else’s order. We politely helped her fix the mistakes which took several trips back and forth to the kitchen. This was due in no small part to the fact that she kept forgetting to bring things.
So overall our experience was ever so slightly worse than we were expecting. So, why you ask, so they still get three stars? Because it’s Denny’s. It’s not going to be amazing and you shouldn’t expect it to be. And as frazzled as our poor waitress was she still managed to be nice. So when your hungry for pancakes and confusion go check them out. Hopefully they’ll have had more practice by then.

Surprisingly appealing not the typical Denny’s flair. Food was really good not sure what they have done but very flavorful and service was really good also.

Walking in with my boyfriend I was so ready to get my grub on:) we are the only two standing there and the manager is tapping away on the computer. Doesnt even acknowledge us until I said «hello». The visit shouldnt start off this way! The waitress Aerin was prompt in getting out drink order. She was very helpful and kind! Thank you for saving our visit!

I enjoy the atmosphere while sitting back drinking the coffee. The new signature coffee is one of the best in town. Being able to compete with other coffee establishments. This restaurant is my default place to eat. The service is always excellent and food is hot.

This store could use some deep cleaning but remember it is Dennys.

It’s Dennys, I’m sure you are not expecting to get five star service. However if you want greasy spoon goodness with a slightly cleaner atmosphere and a more consistent quality of food then this is the place to go! Service was friendly and as quick as it could be with a party of 12. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner and everything was acceptable. Also not as busy as I would have thought for an after Sunday church crowd.

I broke 18 years of veg in March, and it took place during crispy crispy baconalia! I can’t even explain how much the triple bacon sampler changed my life. I was terrified of that first bite, but know this, I’ve eaten bacon for breakfast at home nearly EVERY morning since that day in March.
I’m totally getting married at this Dennys some day.
