CMC kicks off nearly every trip I take out of IND. The coffee is fine, but not robust. And they always have bananas, which is a great alternative to the otherwise terrible and readily available airport choices for a snack. But the real thing is the ritual; the familiarity, and that I don’t buy coffee from them except in this one store in the B Terminal.

My experience at Copper Moon Coffee in the Indianapolis Airport was pretty straight-forward. It’s a coffee shop. You order a Coffee at the counter and wait for it after paying. Tack on a Scone or a couple Cookies as a snack. I got my drink and snack to go and then sat at my gate to wait … sipping a Latte and nibbling on a Red Velvet Cookie. Both were what I’d expect. Since Copper Moon Coffee is after the TSA security checkpoint, you are either going to want coffee or you won’t. If you do, there’s nothing wrong with Copper Moon since it’s right there and so are you.

Very mediocre coffee. The brand tastes not fresh and only limited selections for to go food items.

Do not stop here for coffee. It is basically watered down version of a real cup of coffee. Staff was friendly to customers and each other though. Just not what I needed after an early flight.

Hands down the worst cup of coffee I can recall in recent memory. Now I know why the line was so long at Starbucks. Don’t waste your money unless you like brown water with no taste.

Ordered a mocha here on a layover I had at the airport. I found the customer service to be great. The mocha was prepared well, but the coffee itself could do for a bit more«punch» in terms of flavor. Not the staff’s fault, though. A decent place for coffee if you’re not into Starbucks or the long lines.

Horrible hot chocolate. Watery warm vanilla w tons of whip. Lots of early morning angst among the staff side bar chat.

There is a Starbucks by B 17. Go there. Stopped here and the service was non existent and I went with the white chocolate mocha and after 3 sips, I threw it out. It was terrible. The syrup was overwhelmingly fake sweet and just not enjoyable. So sad I stopped here in a hurry instead of going just a bit further to find the Starbucks. le sigh.

I’m not sure which was worse, the coffee or the service. My Americano was weak. The lady helping me was less than polite. When I asked for the manager, she replied«I am». That explains a lot. I asked for her name to which she replied with silence. When asked for a refund, her answer was«If you don’t have a receipt, there’s no refunds»(for the coffee I bought 8 seconds ago). Classic. Maybe this contributes to the line of 30 people waiting for a Starbucks.

I was on my way home to Philly and had the Starbuck’s before checking into security in Concourse B… I did not see another Starbuck’s in concourse B like a previous reviewer stated so I stopped here for a Grab n Go lunch, water, and yes, iced Americano. The 4 stars is because it was busy, barista was nice, sandwich was tasty and my iced Americano tasted stronger than the earlier Hot Americano from Starbuck’s. Visiting family, I have stopped by this coffeehouse before. I thibk it’s decent cnsidering you are traveler. I will stop againin my travels to Indy.

Copper Moon Coffee is the first business you wander to after going through security at Concourse B at IND. The service was actually really nice. You could tell the people working didn’t like eachother but they were nice to the customers. The pastries were really cold. They must get them freeze delivered. I couldn’t eat my carrot muffin until my layover. It was alright but I wouldn’t get it again. The parfait was okay and the latte was okay. It was all A okay. There is a Starbucks by B 17 but the line is long. So if you are in a hurry Copper moon is your best bet but if you love Starbucks then walk over there and wait.

Barista was nice; place was empty. Probably due to the rest of the reviews… I ordered a white chocolate mocha. It was a little on the sweet side, but foamed perfectly, and served at just the right temperature. Not bad.

There is a Starbucks in terminal B!(I didn’t know). Owners or corporate or whoever: I’m not usually not a harsh critic. I just wanted a croissant and an iced something with caffeine. The employees were standing around talking, one was doing something on his cell phone. No one was in line. I should’ve taken the hint. I walked up and said«hello!» Neither looked over for a long, uncomfortable moment. Finally, he looked up from his phone and said, «did you need something?» I asked if they had cold brew coffee, she said yes. I asked her how they make it, they brew a half pot of hot coffee and add ice to it to cool it down!!! That’s not even iced coffee, let alone cold brew. I ordered a croissant and an iced latte. She got my croissant while he made my drink. They gave me the latte made with skim milk. I asked why, he said«because skim milk is cheaper. You have to ask for regular milk». I tried it, it was watered down and gross. So I asked for a replacement with 2 percent or whole. She said«maybe it’s because you always get syrup in a latte.» I told her I never order syrup in my lattes, which is true. She made the drink this time, but, instead of taking the extra 20 seconds to pull a new espresso shot, she poured in something from a cup on the counter containing who know what, that had been sitting out for who knows how long. I tried the drink, but it was disgusting. I threw it out. The croissant was dry and hard, cardboard consistency. Would’ve gone back for a refund, but didn’t want to chance missing my flight…

I like to go Indy vs Starbucks. My drink is an Iced Mocha. It was on the sickly sweet side. They made the drink incorrectly the first time. You will probably get a better coffee faster at Starbucks.

Ordered a «grande mocha». Cashier retorts«what size?» «Grande» I say«like the menu states». «Oh ya» she replies. Personally I hate the practice of making customers order coffee sizes in Italian. It’s a large, so let’s just call it that. But if your establishment’s menu«coerces» me into ordering, at least make sure your help understands. Anyway, I get my large mocha and my scone, walk to my gate and discover the scone is cold and under-baked. Too lazy to walk back and ask for them to heat it up. I’ll suffer through.
