Walked into Charles Mayer on Saturday in need of a wedding gift for later that afternoon. After being greeted by the sales person, I told her I think I can handle this on my own, that I could pick something out myself. Much easier said than done!
Seeing that i was a bit lost, she approached me and began to help. After explaining my situation in a bit more detail, she helped me find the perfect gift, she wrapped it, and I was on my way.
Next time i won’t be shy about getting help. And there WILL be a next time.

I love the products at Charles Mayer, they have some of the loveliest gift items in Indianapolis. Outside of carrying such beautiful things I do not care for the service. Every time I go in I feel like I am inconveniencing them by merely shopping in the store. The women who work there are unpleasant and cannot be bothered to assist, or even greet, the customers. Each shopping experience leaves me feeling like I am not good enough to enter their store because there is such an air of arrogance and distain from the employees. I wish that I could say that I’ve had a more pleasant experience because I do love the products they sell, but unfortunately I would rather just order the same items from Saks or Neiman’s.
