We like Applebee Restaurants. we enjoyed the food every time we go.

A year ago I gave this location a ZERO review. What a difference a year makes. Service and food are better than ever here. My wife and I have been here twice in the last couple of months to maybe see what has changed. We have been very happy both times. I would like to see more local craft beer selections considering how many great ones we have here in Indianapolis, but I would definitely make this location one of our regular stops again. Great job rebounding

Love the food! The prices are reasonable, food is cooked to order. Always hot and fresh. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Full bar and clean restrooms. My second favorite restaurant.

Restrooms were nasty and one of the girls greeting was rude to another employee. Very nasty.

Oh, Applebee’s. You used to be my guilty pleasure. I loved your weekday lunch. I loved your wings. I hadn’t been in quite a while so we stopped in while doing some shopping in the ‘burbs. My favorite salad was nothing like I remembered. My husband got bacon mac and cheese … with two soft drinks and tip, the total was over $ 30!
Sigh.
I’m not going to say I won’t get some wings to go on my way home but make a special trip for anything else? Sadly, no …

If you have no other choice to dine in, and its last at night then its not a bad idea to stop by at this Apple Bee’s place. I like the food, but dislike the service and atmosphere.

Never been more disappointed in service and food. Don’t go there! Go somewhere else used to be good. Won’t be back. Seriously pretzels broke my tooth I can show you! The manager would not give a refund. I broke my tooth on bread!

I’m not a big fan of Applebee’s. I usually just get their chicken finger basket. It’s just mediocre to me. Service wasn’t bad. I would say the best thing about Applebee’s is their bloody Mary’s and salad. Those are always my favorite. Overall the food isn’t to die for.

Portions are kinda disappointing for lunch. I ended up going with the Fried Oriental Chicken Salad and the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. The chicken from my salad was in tiny little chunks instead of the usual bit-​sized pieces. Not a a big deal. However, the pasta dish was pretty bland, as it lacked a depth of flavor.

A few of our go to options here are Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, Bourbon Street Steak, Cajun Shrimp Pasta, Chicken Tenders Basket or Dinner, Riblet Basket or Rib Dinner. Boneless wings and Spinach Artichoke dip are always good. Dessert shooters are good but too expensive for the couple bites. Chocolate Fudge Bundt cake is delicious and a single serving. Half price appetizers from 9:00 p.m. till closing.
Applebee’s is a Speedway neighborhood staple, with recently updated interior, that we frequent a couple times a month. Service in Speedway has improved along with the food quality/​consistency. It still can be hit or miss. Ribs are great but sometimes extremely fatty but again improving and not as often as in past. We often do carryout which doesn’t lend itself to returning incorrect orders, with doesn’t occur often, but at least with dine in the manager or server is always available to correct.
Recent trip had great service and we ordered the 2 for $ 20 deal. Our appetizer, buffalo boneless wings are always good. I tried the new Creamy Cajun 4 oz. Steak & Shrimp. The blackened steak is topped with Cajun Shrimp. Come with fried potatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and peppers and onions with a white wine Andouille sausage sauce. It was good but for me would prefer with grilled chicken. Our other order was Bourbon Street Steak, cooked almost as requested and acceptable which he enjoyed with new potatoes and veggie medley. Noted our past concerns with the server and he bent over backward to make our meal as enjoyable as possible.

Disappointed. Hamburger had that texture and temperature of having been finished in a microwave. It came with exactly 9 fries. Won’t go back.
