This hotel has the BEST location anywhere along the island. It is spotlessly clean. Sue, Tina and David are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. WE WILL BE BACK!

Still the greatest place to spend vacation! We have made reservations for next year! We’ve stayed there twice this year! The rooms are clean, the people are friendly and the sunsets are beautiful! Also got to see Harry the resident heron! Love it!!!

My wife’s family have been visiting the Great Heron Inn for decades, and I believe they’ve been coming here when it was under a different name. Now our family, including my parents, have become frequent visitors.
The rooms are not much. What you are getting here is a room within steps from a swimming pool and only a few more from the beach/​ocean. The family that owns the property is extremely nice and accommodating.
This place is great for kids, as well.
