This review is just for the pharmacy. I never really shopped at the store. I got sick in Florida while on vacation and had to stay an extra week. I didn’t bring enough medication to cover it. Frank the pharmacist called California for my prescriptions and filled them ASAP. I also had urgent care send them request for antibiotic and it was filled in 10 minutes. I do think it’s strange that they actually close for a lunch hour each day. This is a great pharmacy and I only wish the Walmart in My town was as good.

The store itself isn’t bad. Some of the employees look like they don’t want to be bothered. One thing that really irritates me is when I walk in the store and there’s a tall, big guy(some type of management) that is always on his cell phone or getting real close to female employees. I’ve seen him follow female employees out to their car and tries to talk to them as long as possible before they get annoyed. I live on beachside and this is my go-to Walmart… I just wish they would run it a little better.

I’m amazed I’m giving Walmart 5 stars. Perhaps because Target is inland, and there didn’t seem to be a ton of white trash in the store every time I’ve gone. Florida crackers, yeah, kinda. White trash, not so much. This store is now open 24 hours, employees are helpful, and like Jordan S. says, you do see people in swim trunks(myself) and women in bikinis — the beach is across the street(for those of you who don’t live beachside).

The last great Wal-Mart of our time. Before Wal-Mart invented the white trash festival known as a «Supercenter, «there was a smaller, friendlier version which permeated the suburbs. This may be the first and only beach side Wal-Mart in Florida. Construction began in 1986, when Wal-Mart greeters used to, I don’t know… greet you? When I say beach side, I mean it. A skilled arm could splash a football into the Atlantic Ocean from their parking lot. Noticeable deviations from the typical Wal-Mart experience: –Helpful and knowledgeable associates on numerous occasions –Squeaky clean –They still greet you(usually) –Ample open registers –Short lines, including customer service line –Bikini clad customers Haters of capitalism may disagree. I say best Wal-Mart ever. Please send anti Wal-Mart comments to me in the form of a Unilocal compliment.
