This, per tripadvisor, is the highest rated hotel in Independence which should tell you something about independence.
The hallways & elevator reek of smoke, the lighting is horrendous & the rooms feel like stepping into a claustrophobic’s nightmare.
My understanding is that there are other places to stay in this town that are worse. God help independence.
