Imperial Beach Skatepark

Rad spot all the way down in imperial beach (it’s a drive).
Decent flow throughout the park and enough speed and lead in to hit every obstacle. The amoeba pool has varying heights which makes it fun but there’s a little too much flat bottom so you lose too much speed and really have to work for it. The brick bank is really fun and has a different square coping, one that would normally be found on a flat box.
The real shame about this park is there is a large grass area off to the side that could have been used for more obstacles. Add that to the blue fence that wraps all the way around the park that makes hitting certain ledges highly dangerous.
Comparing this park to the Santee skatepark (which I grew up skating) is like night and day. There are so many positives to this park I’ll definitely make my way down here again.
