Urbana Dance & Performing Arts Studio

We have been taking our kids to Urbana Dance for over 10 years and the studio has grown in many ways over the years. The one constant is the owner, Sonja Davis. She truly loves the combination of dance and teaching. It is a smaller studio, but the kids get more instruction because of it. The ballet program is wonderful. We feel our kids are in a safe and nurturing environment, and are getting the best dance instruction in the Frederick, MD area. In fact, our neighbors had been going to a different Frederick area studio for many years and recently switched to Urbana Dance. The parents commented how much better their child was dancing since switching studios and they felt they should have done it years ago. I would highly recommend this studio to kids of all ages, from beginner to elite.

Our daughter has been to several dance studios in suburban Maryland, and we finally found what we wanted at Urbana Dance… NO DRAMA !! The instruction is top notch and very diverse. The facilities are new, clean, spacious and well maintained. And the staff, girls and parents actually get along (a rarity in dance studios). The owners know what they are doing and their business is growing.
