Raft Masters

When all the other rafting companies said they do not offer rafting at the end of August Raft Masters said YES. We had the best time ever. We were a little sluggish due to a rough night, but our guide (Worth) helped us get through. He made our trip exciting and taught us everything we need to know. He got us through the adventure and back to camp safely! The whole team has high energy and were very fun. Loved it. I would definitely recommend.

This place is great, the guys and staff are awesome. Did the intermediate trip and it was everything I have wanted after being on a handful of beginners all over Colorado. If you worried about falling in you probably should stick to the beginners course. I was close on taking one swim but no one in our raft fell out. I watched about 10 others through out our trip take a dip as well as one boat get tacoed on a rock. It was a blast and I will be back soon. Worth was out guide and rocked it.

We rafted here twice in one week, the guides were very knowledgeable and funny. We definitely want to come back for the full day raft.

These guys were awesome. Fun, professional, and nice. Our guide Mike was great at steering us in the right direction, literally and keeping even the scariest of moments light with his jokes.

What a wonderful time my family had with our superior guide Melanie at Raft Masters in Cañon City, CO. We have a family of 6, including 10 year old twins. It was the perfect adventure and we absolutely fell in love with this company and especially Melanie.
We will be back and request her. It was a workout and we’re sore but talk about memories of a lifetime.
If you ever have a chance to go, we are actually vacationing in Colorado Springs, go with Raft Masters. I can’t imagine a better time.

Guide was nice but the staff on the staff on the phone/​front desk aren’t very good/​helpful.
It’s hard to get here from Denver – hard to do it for less than $ 75 each way… whether you rent a car, take Über, or a taxi.

I had a few hours to kill so last minuets I decided to go for a ride on. Clear creek: good decision. The crew was great and Kurt our guide, was a ton of fun while keeping us safe: a Pro for sure. If you are close stop in a take a ride. Cheers!

Pros: friendly, knowledgeable guide, safety first, quality equipment. Cons: rafts/​equipment weren’t ready, customers complained about the wait. ½ hour late-​seemed unorganized and not concerned about customer wait time

So much fun! Chris was a fantastic guide and made it safe and exciting for the kids. He gave very good instructions and it came in handy when our 9 yr old went overboard. Thanks to Chris, we didn’t panic and quickly got him back on the raft safely with continued smiles. Only regret is that we couldn’t go another 10 miles!

I have to admit, being it was my first time and taking the intermediate course, I was scared, but I have to say this was an experience I will never forget. I loved it! Although the water was cold and the wet suits and jacket a bit smelly, the overall experience was amazing. The scenery was breathtaking and our raft guide was awesome. I definitely recommend Raft Masters.

Well run, very courteous and highly professional — started right on time, did bighorn with 6 year olds and had a blast. Highly recommend them (we’re from boston, did the searches, and very happy we found them).

Our guide JR was so great! Nothing like 38 degree waters to wake you up! I loved how the splash jacket, booties, and wet suit were all included. When we went with another company last year we had to pay extra for them. If you are trying to decide what company to raft with, go with this one! They were very entertaining. After our trip we were all freezing (to be expected) and our guide agreed. He came our wearing a superman onesie! Imagine a tall muscular man wearing that. Was adorable and made for a good laugh! Thank you guys again for making our trip so great!

This was a Fantastic time. We went on the Intermidate tour which was at least 2 hours from start to finish in the river. The guides all were great, informative very friendly, great guys. Even the staff at the storefront were really friendly and helpful. The merchandise is plentiful and very reasonable 16 bucks for T shirts. Also the are pictures and videos available for your tour and they dont push it to buy them as do others. There are coupons on the Colorado websites for 15 bucks off per tour. It was like 4o bucks plus tax after the coupons. The guides are friendly and try to point out Rockclimbers fish goldpanners and joked around and really new the area. The entire staff is fantastic and even the bus driver was great and friendly The whole staff was informative and friendly and just good people. I HIGHLY recommend the Clear Creek. Prior to us booking the trip I called and spoke to a girl and she was great energetic and helpful as all of the staff was. I would definately go again w/​Raft masters. The guides on the bus does ask if you enjoy your time tip your guide which is totally reasonable!!! and not pushy GREAT TIMES and Great job! Great for all and very scenic and Really fun!

Raft Masters is great! My family of four with two boys (8 and 10) went on a trip down the Arkansas with Raft Masters last summer, and it was a wonderful experience. I was a bit concerned that it would be too much for my boys, but my fears were quickly erased.
Our guide assured us that my boys would do just fine, and they did! They actually couldn’t stop talking about it for weeks afterwards!
The best part of the entire day was the treatment we received from the folks at Raft Masters. From our amazing guide to the person who fitted us in our wet suits, everone was so friendly. They really made us feel like they were happy we chose them for our adventure, and we felt relaxed and welcomed all day.
Our guide seemed very experienced, and we never once felt unsafe in his care.
We will definitely be back next summer, and may even pick a more adventurous trip!

great guide and good ride. we were fortunate that the water was high. our guide did an excellent job of steering and directing our raft. we had the all day trip through groupon and had lunch with it which was the bbq place next door which was great. spectacular ride. very fun. the only reason i didn’t give it a five star was due to the wet suits and helmets. it was all wet and fishy smelling from the river. but other than that, i highly recommend this place.

It’s hard to compare my experience here with any previous rafting since this was my first time. But I have to say my experience with this shop was AWESOME!
I went on an adventure excursion with a few girlfriends of mine, we didn’t know what to expect just that we wanted to do something adventurous. We came on a Saturday and were greeted by some super friendly raft guides. The place has a cabin feel to it and the vibe is totally laid back. The staff is young and everyone seems down to earth. For $ 45 we signed up for the beginner course and got suited up for our first ride.
They provide wet suits, booties, jackets, helmets, and life vests for the experience. Come prepared in waterproof clothes. We got hooked up with the most friendliest person as our guide, Betsy. Not only is she super cool but she’s got the meanest 6 pack abs!
I have to admit, for a first time rafter the beginner level was a bit on the boring side, you get an occasional class 3 rapid but the experience isn’t long enough for you to even remember it. Coming all the way from California we decided to do intermediate afterwards. We signed up again and Betsy took us out on the intermediate course. It was AWESOME! Lots of class 3 and class 4 rapids, other people fell out of their rafts, I give credit to our guide for keeping us in ours.
In the end raft masters is a cool group of people who make it really fun, definitely check them out if you’re in the area.
