Very delicious food and fun atmosphere! I had the lettuce wraps and they were good(it’s an appetizer, but big enough for a meal). My kids had the chicken fettuccini and they loved it. Highly recommend.

Great pub and grill. Food was delicious and recommend the chicken con queso. Also seasonal beer was awesome grapefruit beer who would have thought.

It’s sad that it takes a bad experience to make me finally sign up for a Unilocal account. We’ve been letting Unilocal guide our way through years– we are rarely led astray… until now. I should have gone with my gut, and when we pulled up to this place(it’s in a dumpy old hotel) we should have kept driving. We were passing through Idaho Falls and starving– and we trusted the 4 ½ star review. The place was empty on a Saturday at dinnertime. No music playing. I think a tumbleweed rolled by. I watched the janitor clean the bathroom, then drag his dirty mop through the restaraunt into the kitchen… it was just gross. The vibe was weird– they tried to go with an old– timey pub theme and it all felt awkward and forced. Nothing jumped out on the menu so we both went with a steak salad– hard to screw up. It was fine– edible– but I’m pretty sure they just sautée up a bunch of veggies at the beginning of the day and add them to everything. My daughter had a side of veggies with her burnt pizza and it was literally the same mix that was in our salad. It was a waste of our time and our money, and we left hungry. But hey! Here I am Unilocaling… so maybe something good came of it after all.

Five stars for quality of the food and the variety of the menu. This place took me by surprise because it is located in an older hotel. I did not expect a «Gastropub» to have such great tasting food. The beer selection was very nice; several Idaho beers on tap. The specialty cocktail with their own boiled down cranberry and beer mixture is delicious! We visited on thanksgiving evening and ordered off the menu instead of the dinner special. The jalapeño cream cheese burger, one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted(I’ve eaten a lot). My wife ordered the steak Diablo, again it was unbelievably good. She ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly. The soup was so good that we would have eaten just that, and would come back just for it. If you like mac&cheese, you’ll like the Bee’s Knees’. Looking at the thanksgiving dinners that were being delivered from the kitchen made me wish I was hungry for turkey and ham again. It looked awesome and very generous in portion size. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back when we travel through Idaho Falls.

We were really impressed. Someone recommended the Pink Floyd appetizer and it really was soooo good. It’s an Alfredo/marinara sauce with fresh bread drizzled with balsamic to dip it in. I got the jalapeño cream cheese burger and my husband got the bourbon burger and they were both super good. I loved the buns they used and the burgers were thick and cooked perfectly. He got the balsamic fries with his and the dipping sauce was delicious. I think it was just their own version of fry sauce but we both really liked it. I got the lemon asparagus chicken soup with mine and it was the only part i didn’t really like. It just tasted like chicken soup from a can. Also, the service was kind of slow, but the food was well worth the wait. Im excited to go back and try their other dishes.

Have been back a few times. Service was eh the last few times and some of my companions didn’t feel too well after eating here. I was fine, but maybe the food was too rich for them? I still like and will come back.

Love this place! The food is all amazing, I’ve tried several items and never been disappointed. I’m obsessed with the spicy baked mac and cheese, it always seems to hit the spot. I love, love, love their drink menu. The loose goose and penny candy drink are some of my faves. So glad to have a quality restaurant that has a personable staff, that also serves up a killer meal!

This hole in the wall is one of the best places to grab lunch or dinner in Idaho Falls. The seared ahi nachos were delicious – explosion of fresh favors! The bacon cheddar potato soup was a bit too rich/cheesy/salty for me to finish. Definitely try their panko fried asparagus with their yummy ranch dipping sauce. The cooks understand flavor combinations and know what they’re doing. Great music. Food comes out fairly fast at lunch.

As a first timer in Idaho Falls I had to look at Unilocal for place to eat. I can say for sure that I would recomend this place to a friend. Great local beers, amazingly tasty(and big) appetizers and I think one of the most delicious salkons I have ever had. All of the staff were quite young, which made me feel very good. The atmosphere was also nice, with TVs and good music.

Read the reviews before and thought we’d give it a try … Average beer, no alcohol only wine Food average not great Ran out of dark on tap on a Thursday night ? Wouldn’t come back Over priced and very very big portions of food, not very tasty.

What a lovely surprise! Tucked into a tacky motel, this restaurant seemed more like a dive bar than a dining experience which made the delicious food, drinks, charming staff, and great music even more delightful. At 9:30 on a Thursday night, this place was packed and bumping with characters, locals, and regulars! We got the prairie salad with hot balsamic dressing — a delish alternative, the jerk pork, and home fries. Everything was great and flavorful! It is evident that a lot of thought went into the menu and care goes into the cooking. We split the grandma’s slutty brownie and the chocolate, peanut butter, ice cream, whipped cream, caramel sauce, and berries did not disappoint! A must stop if you’re in the area!

June 20, 2015 Saturday at 6:30PM for dinner 2 adults & a kid Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 3 stars Service — 4 stars Background — Long day of traveling and wanted something close by. Unilocal helped us find the place as it was two hotels from where we were staying. Atmosphere — A restaurant inside of a hotel that needs some work. The atmosphere in the restaurant is better than the hotel. They have a door that you can enter the place from the outside without using the hotel. Something was just not right in the place; probably just the little things that added up and I could not put my finger on it. Like the outlet boxes on the black wall where in metal and not painted. Food Drinks — The beers are really cheap here. $ 3 for a bottle and $ 4 for a draft, that is a great price for any bar or restaurant. Dinner — Split the black bean burger with my wife as she was not that hungry. I added a side of mac and cheese; it was the best thing I ate here tonight. My daughter left a lot of the meatballs from here meal. They were rocks. I believe a meatball should be able to be cut in half with the side of a fork. I had to stab the meatball to just get part of it to break off, bad sign. I still ate some and found the dryness that caused the issue. Sad sad little meatballs, the sauce on the noodles were good. Service — The waitress that took our food orders seemed a little new at the position and did not instill confidence. Future — Maybe.

Me and my wife keep having these bad experiences at places that are popular in Idaho Falls. She had had this catered to her work a few times and told me it was amazing so we decided to try it out. She actually really liked her sandwich which was a bacon and turkey, on a huge chunk of roll which she’d been craving for awhile. I was really surprised at the size of the portions for the price. I got the pork medallions for 15 dollars. My mac n cheese and soup were the sizes I would expect in a kids meal. Both the chicken and bacon cream soup and the mac n cheese were fantastic. The pork medallions were… interesting. Super super chewy and almost inedible. The composition of the medallions were peculiar. I wasn’t sure what the flavor profile was going for. I know they were jerk seasoned, but only a few bites had strong jerk flavor. The relish on top was… ok. This also was a baby portion with only two pieces of super chewy overcooked pork medallions. For the price, we won’t be going back.

Cocktails are made with fresh ingredients and strong. There isn’t any pre made sour mix, for example. The staff caters to your tastes. I like whisky and I got an incredible Old Fashioned. They want to make sure you enjoy your drink. It’s s small place, but I felt comfortable. The regulars wanted me to have a good time.

I ordered salmon and my friend ordered steak. Both were surprisingly delicious! House salad and soup was above average but not as impressive as entrée. Service and atmosphere make this place a must go when I visit Idaho falls next time.

WOW!!!, surprised with some awesome food during an overnight stop in Idaho Falls. Mandatory stop for super yummy food anytime I’m anywhere near here again. Aji Nachos as an appetizer followed by a Heaven’s Turkey Club. Both were fantastic…, flavors are amazing. If your anywhere within 100 miles do yourself a favor and check this place out.

If you are in Idaho falls this is the coolest little place. Visually it is awesome but beyond that food is awesome(try the crab and spinach dip) and also the price in my opinion is less than it probably should be. Cocktails are made perfectly by Miss Tasha and if you get a house cocktail it is automatically a double and only $ 8!!!

Formerly the Wild Russet, the amazinness is back. The service is better than before as is the food. Super casual with spactacular food and a laid back atmosphere. Tonight I had the bacon wrapped pork medallions with an enormous baked potato and a side salad the make some dinner salads look small. The pork was cooked to perfection. A beautiful balsamic reduction with fresh sliced strawberries for just a touch of sweetness. The craft brew selection and bar in general are well stocked and the staff is more than attentive. Overall this is one of my favorite places in the country to eat.
