I had procrastinated visiting Chef Shane. Finally, I was without excuse and celebrated my son’s great Freshman BSU grades here. What a great choice! The Mahi Mahi was perfectly pan roasted, and the coconut lime sauce was perfectly matched and sublime. My son had the Thai curry with mussels, calamari, sturgeon, scallops and numerous other aquatics. I had wondered about Thai here but we were not disappointed. It was what I would call a modern perhaps fusion take on Thai curry, which is to say it far exceeded the usual asian presentation. The measure of quality: the calamari was perfectly cooked, and very tender! 99% of the time, Thai hot pots have rubbery calamari and octopus. Bravo!!! Very highly recommended, for food as well as wonderful service! This might be the best restaurant in Idaho Falls at this time! Fresh and very creative.

Best kept secret in Idaho Falls!!! Had the Pork Rib Eye w/roasted red pepper sauce and it was awesome! Will be back. Also if the address doesn’t route across the street from Bed Bath Beyond, get a better mapping app(ie prob not iphone)! Also forgot to mention Carmel coffee creame broulee for desert was also excellent.

Excellent service with table side service from Shane — a special find in IF. Eclectic menu. The spinach, goat cheese, berry salad was amazing. The orange, basil, and mint vinaigrette on mixed greens for my wife’s salad was fantastic. The seared Mahi with pineapple sauce was great with the sweet potato gnocchi up there with the best I have had. We loved it. Simply one of the better places in IF to eat.

Without a doubt the best dining in Idaho Falls! Chef Shane creates a wonderful and diverse menu. This will be my go to dinner spot on any future trip to Idaho Falls.

This has to be the best restaurant in Idaho Falls. We have dined here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always perfectly prepared. The staff is very friendly and willing to help, If any is needed. Whenever we have special guests this is always the restaurant of choice.

I will preface this review with this comment; I will give it another chance! I had someone call me today and ask what we thought and it jogged my memory that I was going to write a review of the place. I was quite taken back with the atmosphere, certainly no ambiance there, you need to be ready for that! Secondly, the person that waited on our table had no clue on how to provide service; however, he was friendly! The food was just OK, my husband was still hungry when we left, servings were quite small! We tried to converse with the owner, as his friend told us to tell him he sent us — he said, he’d treat us well — well, even though there was only one other table with people, he could barely say«hi». Again, I will give it another try, but at this time, have a hard time recommending it and wonder what all of the hub-bub was about!

I came here a few months ago with my wife because the owner of another restaurant that we frequent suggested it to us. We knew it was going to be decent when we walked in and were by far the youngest couple. Everyone else looked retired and well dressed. Food: 4⁄5 Ribeye steak– Allegedly this was wagyu beef, having frequented many upscale steakhouses that offer wagyu beef I doubt this was actually wagyu especially for what he was charging. I think it was like $ 19 for the steak. The steak itself was cooked perfectly but was not nearly as tender as other wagyu steaks I’ve had, but for $ 19 it was fantastic. Potatoes– They were cubed potatoes that were baked. They came with a dipping sauce. I don’t remember the name, but the were good. Service 5⁄5 Our server was great! She was on point and made sure our drinks were filled and we were taken care of. I came back here with my wife a few weeks ago and it said it was going to be closed for a while. I don’t remember the dates, but I’ll have to swing by here again and update my review when I find out.

Very dissapointing! The Seared Mahi was so overcooked that I had to send it back. My nephew ordered the broccoli and potato soup, which was only fair and my sister had the Jerk Chicken that was overwhelmed by the spices. The staff or chef made no acknowledgement regarding the Mahi that was sent back and still charged me for it! I asked them to remove it from the bill which they did. This restaurant is way overpriced for the poor quality of food so don’t waste your time or money!

Delicious! My wife and I dined there for my birthday, and everything was perfect. The service was exceptional, and the food exquisite! We started with the seared sea scallops that had a great balance between the balsamic glaze and the pesto. After that, I had the chicken linguine with prosciutto in a Gorgonzola cream sauce and my wife had the sirloin with Yukon Gold mashers and veggies. The steak was a perfect true med-rare(warm red center) and had a nice crust on it. We finished it off with a caramel coffee Crème Brûlée that was to die for. The service was impeccable! Will definitely return, worth finding around the corner from T-mobile.

Not quite sure whether I went there on the wrong day or I missed something, but I didn’t quite understand the rave about this restaurant. The menu is quite small and unimpressive. The entrees options for lunch today included quiche and frittatas. No pasta meals, meats or fish entrees, no appetizing desserts. I ordered the prosciutto, spinach and mozzarella quiche. It was ok, nothing I’d go recommend my friends and family about. My boyfriend got a beef tips and linguine(adventurous pairing) dish that looked quite unappetizing. It had a lot of grossly chopped up onions in it, very fine linguine, more like angel hair really, and pieces of beef here and there. The sauce was exquisite(I tried it) but the pasta was over cooked, nothing like al dente, and I thought mixing beef tips with a pasta dish was far more gutsy than what the final result was worth(my humble opinion). No variety of sides to pick, no bread and butter at the table. Appetizer was good but expensive considering we paid $ 9 for 9 pieces of calamari(I actually did count them, lol!). Overall, coming from Italy myself and having grown up cooking, and being a pretty darn good cook myself(pardonne my boasting), I found this meal disappointing and unimpressive.

THE best restaurant in all of Idaho Falls!!! Food: good, very good, very very good, excellent even. Drink: small wine and beer selection, all good. Atmosphere: Horrible, small, crappy lighting, linens don’t fit the table, chairs are crap. We were seated by the door which kept opening as patrons came in. Wait Staff: very interesting… When the wait staff isn’t taking good care of you, they’re in the kitchen cooking and helping the chef, which you can see because it’s so small and the kitchen is not closed off. Leave the kids at home and have a nice romantic meal. No really, leave your kids at home! 5 star meal in a 2 star space/atmosphere. If anyone from the restaurant sees this… I hope your lease is up soon and you move to a real space somewhere, maybe downtown. Try a chef’s menu of 6 courses with a wine or beer pairing, $ 70 a pop easy.

Definitely a pleasant surprise to find this boutique eatery in a strip mall in Ammon. Chef Shane knows how to cook for sure. I was most impressed with the menu’s combination of fresh local stuff(morels!) and imported yummy bits(escargot). The only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is the setting. If this place was on the greenbelt with a view of the falls, 5 stars for sure.

Had an excellent meal here. Started with the cheese tator tots. More like perfectly fried croquetas, in a light tomato sauce. Wonderfully cheesey and good. Next was a salmon, crispy, but perfectly cooked in the center. Topped with a nice vinegary relish and squash. Very tasty. It’s clear the people here care about food. That’s a thing not easily found in Idaho Falls.
