Members only. Average age of patrons is an estimated 82.7 years. Menu is diverse, ranging from sandwhiches, burgers, lobster rolls to filet and lamb chops. Quality is very good. Wait staff is very attentive. Good for dinner for Grandpa and Grandma’s 70th anniversary, but younger folks will feel more at ease elsewhere.

We had a family lunch there with 17 people. Excellent food. A little confusing menus… there were two version of the menus with slightly different choices. Since we went on the late side, the specials of the day were not served anymore. Everyone liked their choices, we had sandwiches, lobster rolls, salads, pasta dishes, seafood dishes, surf and tur etc. One server was very attentive and friendly but the other one was strickly efficient.

Note: The Captain’s Table is not open to the public. It’s a private restaurant that’s part of the Hyannis Yacht Club. For members, there’s so much to love about the Captain’s Table! The water views are sparkling. The food marries comfort + creativity and it’s always delicious and beautifully presented. We especially enjoy the different events the club organizes, particularly the authors’ luncheons.

Nice venue located right on the harbor. The place has the feeling of being older and traditional in a good way, with models of various ships on the walls. You will need to be with a member to go to this restaurant. The waitress, Brittany, was extremely attentive. I am only giving 3 stars, however, because I ordered the beef tenderloin«medium» and it came back totally«well-done.» I should have complained but did not want to create a «scene» because I was with a large group and was a guest(my fault, I should have said something). I would try it again another time because hopefully my beef was just a fluke. Other than the beef, the sides were very good.
