True Results of Mid-Cities Weight Loss Center

Please, save your money and time! True Results is nothing more than a price gouging, misguided referral service for various bariatric surgeons in the metroplex. They send you for all these tests and procedures and then after 6 – 8 weeks they say «Okay, now we are going to send you to the surgeon»! Then when you get to the actual surgeon they want to send you for all of the same tests and procedures! I am dealing with a lab bill, nearly $ 1.500.00 because True Results did not give the lab the correct diagnosis!

Very nice and understanding staff. Several of them are Lap Band or Gastric sleeve patients too, so their advice is doubly valuable! Please make sure you ask the people you see if they are also patients. Very well organized place, super nice staff and lots of support is provided. Just a little too aggressive soliciting business for my taste. As an example, I got multiple emails and 3 different calls and at least 3 text msgs reminding me of my 1^st appointment. That is too much! –1 star.

The nurses and Patient Advocate have been very friendly and helpful. They have helped answer many of my questions and whenever I email Esperanza she is always quick to answer my questions. I am greatful for this team and plan on going forward with my surgery.

I wasted a lot of time going to another Doctor (one that has a lot of TV commercials and famous ex: Dallas Cowboys for clients), and was so disgusted by the arrogance and rudeness. I was also told by that Doctor that my insurance covered nothing, and I had to pay $ 15K out of pocket. Finally, I was told that before the procedure that I needed to lose 50 lbs. (I am about 60 lbs overweight, and so if I can lose 50, why would I have the procedure.
I went to True Results and the entire staff could not have been nicer. They have everything moving forward very quickly, and I expect that I will procedure completed within 60 days of first appointment.
I would recommend everyone to not waste time with those Doctors who are trying to become local celebrities… Go to the true professionals who are caring and empathetic, and want to help.
