I’ve been shopping at this store for years… sadly, today I was met with a very unhappy cashier. She definitely was not happy working today!

Customer service at this location is very helpful, and mostly prompt. It can be tedious at times to find someone, yet when you do, the employees are very good. When it comes to the cutting board counter, the employees are usually laid back to the point where you don’t have to grab a number to get your items cut. One memorable thing about this location, in addition to all Jo-Ann stores is of the usage of the online coupons. What a difference! I strongly recommend going on Jo-Ann’s website to see the advertised sale of the day. It can easily make the difference in saving an additional $ 5 – 10. All the employee needs is the coupon code to scan from your smartphone, and bam! Instant savings. Like many other Jo-Ann locations, this particular store may offer classes on just about anything: weaving, crocheting, etc. You may also have to check the website or ask an employee on when the next class would be, if applicable.

This place is clean friendly and very helpful. I love to go into places and everyone there is happy and truly enjoys assisting customers. I highly recommend going out of your way to come here. When you walk into this store everything is well organized. The employees seem to know their regulars and genuinely are excited to tell them their new projects. They have almost everything u need for sewing.

I’m there at least 2 – 3 a month. They usually have everything I’m looking for within reason. Pricing are great and they always have coupons. You should download the app so you always have the coupons. They ladies that work there are sweet and helpful as well.

Had to run in to get a needle and tread. This was the store to do that in. We had no problem finding the needle and tread. We had to sew up a piece of upholstery so we needed some strong tread and a big curved needle. And Jo-Ann’s had what we needed. I will probably not go back only because I do not use anything that have to sell. The store is great for people that sew and do crafts. They do have large veriety of items for craft work. which was good to know. This location was very busy had a very long line. We almost walked out without getting the items we needed. But we decided to wait in line it took about 10 to 15 minutes. They did have 4 lines open. This is a nice store if this is what you are looking for.

I found all the materials I needed to quickly whip out a tutu and tail for a recent Halloween event. The staff was genuinely so kind and helpful! The ladies in fabrics knew exactly what they were talking about giving an inexperienced person as myself step by step instructions. Highly recommended if you’re trying to use your luck in sewing or any DIY project. They also have an iPhone app. Once you download it, I was told you get a 50% off coupon for one item.

Sewing and crafting is making a come back and I am part of the movement. So many helpful people, articles, tip sheets at all of the locations. One of the largest selections of fabric. This location has a large sewing machine department and quilting section. I am impressed with how well the employees help and move fast to get Fabric cut and people checked out. Always have great sales and coupons. You can also use the app to load coupons and use them digitally. Some of the metroplex locations offer great classes for real cheap. The Houston location do not.

At this point, my girlfriend’s nerves are frayed, I’m obsessing over some legendary elusive Panasonic iron(4 and half stars on Amazon!) and Super Target /Hancock Fabric /Office Max /and Ross(ok, I had to make up for Office Max) were all a bust at this point. Jo-Ann’s just has to have what I’m seeking, or at least a good selection, right? Wrong. Just like Hancock Fabric, Jo-Ann had a small selection of irons(all Rowenta). I have one question… What kind of crazy monopolistic grip does Rowenta have on crafty people? Anyhow, the service was actually pretty good at Jo-Ann. The cashier greeted us at the door, and an associate in the fabric department was more then willing to help us find the disappointing iron selection. So, eventually I found my new iron at Sears(I ended up with a T-faL iron, instead of Panasonic).
