Evidently you have to drive all the way to this store to find out whether or not they have what you are looking in stock. I tried calling MULTIPLE times and the phone kept ringing and ringing and ringing. Apparently the managers believe it is appropriate for their employees to not answer the phones during business hours.

This is partially about this location and partially about the company in general. Lets just start at the beginning… for years I have had issues with the bad attitude at our local BRU/TRU. They are rude and not helpful at all. This past christmas I ordered a majority of my daughters gifts from TRU online. Well, they sent a number of wrong items. Some items they didn’t send at all and it was like pulling teeth to get them to correct their mistake. An example, I ordered 2 of the same doll(I have twins) I got one of the dolls I ordered and the other was not even close to the item that I had ordered. When I called I was told that they had run out of the doll that I had originally wanted and instead of contacting me they took it upon themselves to send me whatever they deemed appropriate. I didn’t get a «sorry» or anything. NO, the supervisor I spoke with told me that I should have expected this during a busy holiday season. I was livid and returned the doll to the local store. Fast forward to this month. I am expecting my third child and I ordered a few nursery essentials. I ordered them Apr 27, 2015. Today May 7, 2015 I decided to call and check the status and was informed that they were delivered to the wrong address. The solution they gave me to this debacle was, «You should play private investigator and go to the address and see if you can get the items» Oh really? How about your company make it right and send me the items… or just give me a refund. This was the ABSOLUTE last straw! I will never shop with this company again ever. I suggest that everyone avoid this company at all costs. It will save you a major headache in the long run. Oh I almost forgot to mention, I went there to buy the crib mattress and was treated very rudely by the cashier. Mind you I am 9 months pregnant right now and this was a week ago! I was getting a few small items from the buggy so she could scan them and she decided to rudely tell me leave the mattress in the cart… Like I’m going to lift a mattress at my stage of pregnancy… um no! Plus my husband was there and she was extremely rude to him as well. This is honestly just a few of the major issues we have experienced… I wish we had a better local store to choose from but I guess ill be an avid amazon shopper till then. Amazon has always been reliable.

My wife shops here frequently for baby shower gifts. They have an excellent variety of baby products. The location here is very good, in the west side of The Bridge Street shopping center. My wife picks up a printout of the giftee’s registry. This seems pretty straightforward. However, I know some of the young ladies had difficulty completing the registry online. And, the printout is somewhat inscrutable once you get it. The store layout is poor. The registry tells you what section of the store your product is in, but you may need to ask a clerk where that section is! Once you finally find where the product is supposed to be, they may be out of it. Your printout gave you no clue it was out of stock. If you find what you are looking for, it is not simple to verify it, as the names and numbers on the product and shelf don’t look a lot like what is on the printout. I’ll be charitable, and rate the registry as average. My wife thought she could improve her life by using the iPad app next time. However, their app is between poor and terrible. Maybe their website is better? Overall, I give them a three. I hope they will improve their problem areas, and become a five someday.
